Awesome, hmmm... Well the Max Eagle Atty's I ordered for the Bottom dual sided air flow, comes with the Exact same Ceramic Heater installed for $22 Pair it with the Sai TAF
for Buckets & for Ceramic Donuts (reported to be the shits with 10mm DT settings) better airflow. We'll see I get that on wednesday , I'll be testing away, lol.

Nice. THe advantage to the Crossingtech quartz bucket is the housing that screws on the top of the bucket. It firmly presses the quartz to the heating disc to increase thermal transfer.

I think a SiC buket might be better than quartz. It's thermal properties would allow for more even heating as well. There was a thread looking at making a sapphire bucket for the Sai as well. But I don't know if constant heating and cooling is a good idea on expensive Sapphire.

After a long back and forth with the Swiss jewel company for a quote on making a sapphire/ruby insert to fit the Sai, I learned that the walls can’t be thinner than 2mm because of drilling reasons. I don’t think 2mm thick walls would work for such a small bucket. It’d take way too long to heat, and way too much energy.

I imagine SiC to be the same way.. too hard to drill so thin, but I don’t know that for sure.

Cool, looking forward to trying those.
I think it a great tradeoff , the hassle & wait & all else that takes away from my high.
I love the Ti/Skillet for it's no brainer works every time .
I use TCR 333 & trc 315 depends on what Mod , as they are a lil diff 1 & 2 battery Joyetech
By upping the watts to 44 , gets to temp quicker & at 290-310 first hits real terpy & smooth, then I just got up 5 -10 degs a pull till gone . To easy and smoother since I changed temp & starting curb, This is all on myevic firmware 20 sec auto default settings

When my new Espion mod gets her going to experiment with Red Panda a color version
of Arctic Fox with all these atty saves by @daltesean from reddit
have no experience as Myevic always works great with my mods, but here I go
any advice?

Sai, Seq, DTV3 and Triton Arctic Fox Profile I updated the release of my Temp Control Profile to the latest Arctic Fox and Red Panda Releases also included a Mac script to install any dependancies and launch the toolkit.

Everything is in the download, firmware, profile, patches and tools.

https://www.filedropper.com/dalteseanv180818 (Mirror2)

(If anyone knows of any other decent Mirror sites (no ads!!) or would like to host another Mirror let me know.)

Install:
  1. Download and decompress file.
  2. Open NToolBox. (For Mac Right click the NToolboxMac.command file and select open (first launch only) it will install any missing dependancies, you will either need to have Xcode or command line tools installed, otherwise it will install it also but you will need a admin password at launch, first launch takes 5-20 min to fully set up the wine environment. This "should" eliminate any issues with new users and setting up Wine.... fingers crossed :D )
  3. Select "Firmware updater"
  4. Plug in Device and wait for it to recognize then Select 'Update from File'
  5. Select your desired Patched Firmware from the firmware folder. (If it fails try again until it takes)
    1. af_180617.bin unpatched file.
    2. af_180617_Enjoy.bin Patched to replace Protection with Enjoy (If you have a small screen device like the Pico use this one.)
    3. af_180617_Enjoy_PotStartup.bin Patched to replace Protection with Enjoy and a 420 boot screen for large screen devices)
    4. af_171126_Enjoy_HVTStartup.bin Patched to replace Protection with Enjoy and a HVT fanboy boot screen for large screen devices.
    5. RP_180706.bin Red Panda firmware
    6. myevic.bin Tubo myevic firmware for herb vapes. (very small segment of AF mods are compatible with this.)
  6. Click cancel to return to the main NToolKit screen and select ArcticFox Configurator.
  7. Click the bottom Hyperlink of "Open Existing Configuration"
  8. Navigate to the Profile folder and select the profile.
  9. Click 'Upload Settings' (May Take a few tries for it to take)
  10. Unplug your Mod.
  11. Double click your fire button to choose the correct profile. (All should work out of the box, Lock your resistance in a 68° room, all profiles are preset but coils do degrade over time so your coil maybe different.)
  12. ENJOY!!!!
Mac Users:
Since the profile has posted the homebrew installer has started stalling after installing the "Command Lines Tools" . Simply close out of the terminal window after its been idle for about 10-15 min then restart the .Command file. (Only a issue the first launch and only if you don't have XCode or Command line tools installed already)
After firmware update you MAY get a pop Information (window)

An exception occured during dataflash reading.
Unable to open HID class device.

Disconnect the Mod, click on OK button and reattach your Mod through USB. If it persists, disconnect the Mod then completely close out of the toolkit including closing the Terminal window then relaunch via .Command file and reattach your Mod through USB.

All Credit for the Emulation method for Mac does to user SpaLife at the NFE forums I only wrote the wrapper to do it all automatically for you guys.

Am I wrong to think if the TI bucket is to be used to bring inserts to temp & keep them there, it needs to be Flat and not with a peak in the middle, works for Vapor but not for
what needs to be done to inserts. I know next to nothing, help?

Think putting an insert in the Ti bucket will be problematic. The ceramic heater needs to transfer heat to the Ti bucket, and then that heat needs to transfer to your extra insert. Too much heat will be lost in the process, it will take a long time to heat up, and it will be a strain on your batteries.

If you're going to use custom buckets, you'd be better off taking the whole thing apart, removing the Ti- bucket, and placing your bucket directly on the ceramic donut. But I have no experience with that and it looks like only Crossingtech is selling buckets that fit, and only in quartz/Titanium.

@fernand might know as he messes around with ceramic buckets.
Any info you can share

You know, I thought the big advantage of the Peak and other e-rigs over a Sai bucket is that the Sai requires you to hold a button for 10+ seconds, where e-rigs provide constant heating with one button touch. Now, I'm not so sure. Maybe that's great for novice users... but I can often get a nice milky huff through my bubbler in less than 10 seconds of heating time. So I'd rather not keep heating the material past that point.

If you have Arctic Fox, you can set it to 15 seconds which is the perfect time for me, I used to have it at 10, and I would press it and release and press again, but with 15 seconds you just hold and hit about halfway through

I do have mine set to a 15 second cut off. It's nice for a big lung buster hit. But at 40 watts, I can get a satisfying hit in less than 10 seconds. With the bubbler, you can see vapor after about 3 seconds.

The versatility is sweet.

So what's going on with the Eagle bottom?

Adding the SAI top airflow top to it, and placing the titanium bucket on top of the Eagles flat ceramic coil? Similar to what Crossingtech is now coming out with on a quartz bowl?

Personally, I'm getting the Eagle base to use with the standard Ti bucket atty because it lets you use different glass pieces like these:

depkls.jpg

I'm not sure adding just the bucket to the Eagle ceramic disk is going to work out. The Sai bucket housing screws together. This firmly places the bucket next to the heater, increasing the heat transfer. Also the standard Sai housing completely seals off the bucket and concentrate from the heater. I can tell you from using crappy Source buckets that getting concentrate on the ceramic heater below the bucket makes for a really bad time.

I really enjoy the 10 mm ceramic donuts for tasty but has some maintenance & mess
leakage possible, with the eagle botton & Sai or TAF the donuts get best clouds & taste.
I will test this in a few days with my stuff, as at my buds house's he has it cooking nice.
Also I want to play around with the ceramic plate that comes with it for $22 lol plz :>)
Got some cheap cups & quartz inserts coming on a slow boat from china.

Got tired of waiting for all these options so since I was told by doctors that I'm not
going to die of prostate cancer anytime soon or maybe never, lol. oops sorry YEAH!
At around $25 a mod, I just dedicate 1 per atty & play at my constant leisure, lol.
So now not only is life great again, but it looks like it will be longer than expected.
Now if I can just remember what's in the Ti/bucket on the Dual Evic & what was I
tasteing in Donut coil on the Evic Two Mini , I'm trying some terpy mix of live resin
badder & thick co2oil on DNA Lavabox in the all Quartz $15 poor man's quartz dab.
Funny I put the Arcadia Motar E-Solid Wax Vaporizer on a Evolve+ battery Pulse it
WOW! if you don't have a mod but a Yocan Evolve + or XL battery this is cheap sweet .

That's cool, I don't really know the results of what is going to devolope
on these bases and atty, but already hook up everything to all my WT's
with those adapters I sent you pics of. I Love just playing for hours with
diff connectors & D020 , sidecar diffuser ect, but really the TAF Ti/Skillet
straight connect with my $1 silicone adapter to Pinnacle WT is the BEST!
I'm assuming the Eagle increased bottom airflow with hit a little different
You never know, lol EXCELSIOR !

I just bought the Eagle since it's cheap, to mess around. I haven't introduced any glass pieces to the Sai yet cause I use it mainly on the go. But I'll give that a go.

I may need a new titanium cup too. Mine seems pretty charred up. I can get most of it clean, but it's pretty dark now. Is Humbolt Vape Tech still best/only place to buy?

Do you mean discolored charred or gunked up ?
If it's gunk, did not distilled water remove all the crud in seconds?
If it's stubborn black gunk, after pulse to heat water, stir with wood stick/skewer.
Mop up to perfect clean with piece of paper towel

I've used alcohol, never distilled water. I'll try some later when I get home. Checking it out now, I have the original design with separate bucket and screw on lid - not one piece. It's stuck now, even with a coin to leverage it...I'll have to put it on a clamp at home to unscrew it!

No don't unstick anything first, just after you qtipped the last gunk out, add a few drops of distilled water. Some say soak, you can just pulse button Carefully (Hot Boiling Water)
If gunk stuck or not losing fast enough, poke with point of wooden skewer , stir & pulse
repeat if really gunky still.
If I do this once a day it takes less than 20 seconds for a brand new TI bowl.

OK, cool. Thanks for the tips...can't believe this is the first time I've heard of using distilled water and also pulsing it. I may take a trip to the store to pick up some distilled water during work just to try this!

What mod combo you using with the skillet?
What setting do you prefer?
Tried a little sea salt in the distilled water to increase scrubbing bubbles.
Not needed if you just use water at end of day, no build up, then I
have to burn of salt , lol.

I don’t do as much maintenance as I should on my bucket, but I pair my HumboldtVapeTech TAF Sai with a Cuboid, ArcticFox, around 40-43 Watts. If I’m going for clean I usually soak everything besides the rubber O rings and mod in some 99% rubbing alcohol, give some stirring and then wipe everything down with some q tips and let dry.

Hmmmm... nice, was going to get the Cuboid as so many good things said about for the price/performance excellent.
I was enticed by the Coolness of the New Espeon (not the flashing led one lol) I see
enough flashing from the 60"s lol. This one big color screen nice center pin.

The setting on my Evic Dual temp 320 - 390 @44 watts TCR 315 Temp varies with
Shatter, badder, live resin ect... Ti/Skillet.

Like the Evic's & this new one will be my first attempt at AF firmware upgrade.
Red Panda is AF's Color Version. I have been real happy with MyEvic firmware,
but not available for new mod, so going to give it a run.
The guide comes with 8 installed atty setting 4 or 5 I can use right off.
Sai B=bucket, DC V3 donut, ect..
