Yeah dude just go back to good old torch with a digital timer on your mobile.
It won't be as good as the d-nail but it'll be pretty close man. You'll also face less trouble with waiting on cool down times in between cleaning because it will naturally cool down on it's own after each hit XD. I'm surprised you don't have spare coils with your analogues though? If you're keen to use the mighty but are having battery issues then I suggest just keeping it hooked up to the power.
If I was in your position i'd just be taking out my trusty blowtorch though
Funny thing, I just sold my spare standard flat coil as I wait for a new extended life flat coil to come through. Very unlucky timing.
Also can't torch anything but SiC which isn't in the same league as the other halos for flavor IME (although SiC probably beats both other halos in clouds and speed of vaporization).
I did a torch dab with the SiC dish and it went pretty well, slightly too hot but definitely out of the league of torch dabs with anything else. Dabbed some 3 star trim run bubble rosin rather than full melt, don't wanna risk going too hot on full melt, that flavor must be enjoyed at perfect temps - anything less wouldn't do the material justice. Still, plenty of rosin, I won't want for dabs until another coil gets here! Definitely keep a few coils on hand enail people, you'll thank yourselves later!
BTW to those interested: This torch situation gave me a good chance to use my 45 degree infiniti adapter on my worked rig since I am not one to torch a nail attached to an expensive dropdown!
The 45 degree adapter is made to have a halo or infiniti dish put on top and any compatible base below.
I put my SiC on the adapter on my 1.4 base, torched for 70 seconds from the bottom/side corner of the dish and then let it cool down for 85 seconds (should have gone 95). No heat on the ti base of the nail past the 45 adapter, let alone the cheap 14 mtm adapter nor the downstem/perc below. This is good stable setup for those who wanna torch dab on a 45 degree rig and keep the heat right away from their more precious glass/dropdowns
You don't do torch style at all?
Not with my best extracts, no. It may sound very picky but I don't wanna risk dabbing something uniquely terpalicious at too high a temp because of the inexactitudes entailed by torch dabs. For more plentiful/less outstanding extracts, I would chance the torch and SiC nail
I've gone to vaping some 4 star dry ice sift in my Mighty and dabbing rosin/shatter on my SiC with torch for now, the full melts and live resins etc can all wait til my new heater arrives. It takes me back to what I was limited to medicating with not so long ago before expanding my extraction quiver - and certainly not a bad selection to be left with for what will not be all that long!
