The quality was very good even with almost year old nugs. Since the nugs were naturally decarbed the rosin was a darker color, but still very clean. I did notice on one press a green stain tinge left on one of the parchments, but the oil has no hints of green.

The dunk was very quick and the nugs seemed almost hydrophobic they were so old and dry. I would have liked to hydrated slowly to 63% or tried to to vaccum seal nugs first then place in freezer or even use @2clicker s puck method, but went for instant gratification/experimental.

Maybe @Rufio320 would explain his techniques.

Made some live rosin with some few hour old scissor and finger hash. Just made up that term lol. In a few months live rosin will be all the rage lol. The stuff juiced so hard.

This stuff looks amazing and smells intense. This stuff is also some of the tackiest hash ever encountered.

Anyone get a swivel c clamp yet? Thing is amazing.

So how is the clamp being used? I can't picture it. Tighten it onto the iron? Doesn't that take a while to do and undo?

EDIT: NVM. The home depot link makes sense. Didn't see the "trigger" in the pic here. I'll grab one this week.

Not all hair irons are created equal. I handled one that was very weak and the clamp would destoru the housing.

My hair iron is a Remington SL 1007 1 inch hair iron. Adjustable to 400°F. Has 30 temp settings. 1 click is equal to 13.3 °F.

The best part is this thing is pretty solid. I feel like the plates will break or shatter before outside housing. Only downside is its 1 inch hot area.

Also the hair iron @Rufio320 uses appears to have a strong housing. Maybe someone could identity the model!from his Instagram page which is linked a few posts up.

Noble effort to smash out an ounce, harder than it looks ;) . Doesn't help that (spoilers) D420k ruins the batch by sizzling the bubble hash at near 400f lol. That's why you don't combine piles at a group smash sesh, unless you really trust everyone's tech

I feel like everyone is just sitting around waiting for a "rosomatic" or something to make it easier lol. I still have to press like .1g to get a good yield. Its tedious for sure but its still my favorite oil. I'd be thrilled to be able to press 1g of bud at a time and get a good return.

EDIT: Has this been posted? I don't know if I saw this yet.

Lol that apparatus looks like it is connected to the ceiling or something, just how high does that thing go? Also the plates are not connected flush with one another, hope that's just a test unit.

In any case, D-nail have rosin presses on the way ;)

I've started using the C clamp thing. My lord does that help a ton!

Also, if you're pressing import hash this might be of interest to you: dark hashes ime produce a sappy, dark oil that does not vape cleanly in a pen, where as light hashes produce a shattery snap and pull concentrate that you can handle with your hands, and that vapes good in pens :)
