I've been doing my research on "recyclers" realizing the benefits of how a multi-filtration device can have on one's overall smoking experience with BHO. This piece isn't as "fancy" as some of the others listed in this thread, but it looks like it gets the job done. I'm not looking for something fancy or over-produced, as pieces like this are not in my budget. . Is anyone familiar with the company listed above? They have two recyclers listed on their site, and I'm curious how the sizing works. This one says 18mm. Does that mean it's only compatible with nails that are the same size? I've never bought a recycler before and was wondering if anyone with experience can assist me in my decision.

Personally I like less diffusion in a recycler. The honeycomb looks like it would slow down the water too much to keep a good recycle action going.

I have purchased from that vendor before. No problems and packaging was stealthy. Not sure I'd use them for recyclers.

18mm is nice because you can get a l 18-14 adapter for less than $10 that will let you go down to 14 easy. Yes the size matters an 18 nail won't fit in 14, and 14 nails are usually too small to fit the 18 joint.

There are a lot of recyclers out there. If you gave a number for your budget amount it would be helpful.

This man speaks truth. A budget be needed.

Very true! Not a huge budget though. Mike from Distilled Glass or Trey from Doughboy Glass can make a pretty good recycler for around $150

That's what I call a low budget affordable quality recycler!

To be honest, I'm looking for something in the $40-$50 range. What did you buy from this vendor? Why wouldn't you use them for recyclers?

Here's what I bought from them. Not a recycler, the bottom tube is just support (darn!). There aren't a lot of choices for decent cheap recyclers. At your price, your best (only?) option is to go chinese (see cheap bubbler thead) with Kathy or Sunshinestore.

@syrupy is right on point as @Dangus just posted the following link with a couple of cheap recyclers and one of them is right on budget ($48):

That's actually not a mini Sputnik.
It's the new full sized Sputnik.
They had a matching (lemon drop) mini and if I could have justified the $$ I would have loved to have bought the matching pair, but...
well I stand corrected. Easy mistake without a reference :) They look very similar.

Still love my original Sputnik. never had and issue with it.

Course I don't use a single piece very long since I rotate them. As of today I have 104 recyclers and yet another on its way.

Man Scottie's squiggle recycler is wild

ok, since te recyclers slipped to page 2, I post some. How about this Mad Rob dual Kline internal recycler.

Figuring out the vapor/water path on this baby is a study for sure. Each level uses 3 uptake tubes. Its a tall piece, probably 15". Drag isn't bad for the amount. of action. Freaken heavy also. thick glass. sorry, cellphone shot which should be rotated

We're here to fuck shit up.
I saw this little thing over at badassglass.com.

Don't think I'd seen it posted.

At that price, it might look like a nice item to pick up. Crazy bubbles to say the least.

Great price, but is it really recycling? It looks like bubbles are coming up the return stem. It also looks like you can get a nice big drink of water if not careful with water level and draw speed.

I owned that piece and I would not recommend buying it. I got it for $100 from another website that is no longer in business so I won't mention it, but it is not even worth $100 IMO.

The piece pulled extremely smooth but it does not recycle properly like the video shows. The lower matrix perc is below the return tube and therefore bubbles travel up the return tube and then into your mouth (if you are not extremely careful with how your pulling). I don't like to think about how hard or how soft I have to pull, I just like to pull and have the piece function properly.

Save your money and get a different recycler that functions much better :2c:

EDIT: @Deadshort480 beat me to it

that's a very common recycler issue. Can be dependent on water level on some pieces, but design is typically flawed. Bottom line, like us stoners water and air will take the path of least resistance. That should not be the return path
