You're right, moist bud wouldn't present this problem, however moist bud is something I HATE putting in a grinder. Gums it up and just feels wrong.

Well, my Brilliant Cut Grinders literally never gum up, which is why I love them, I can grind upside down as much as I want with any type of bud consistency... I do break up into small nugs to load between the teeth, yeah very dense and moist takes a little more effort to get going, but once it does it turns smooth... Flower Mill with a fine plate should also handle it easily in my experience.

So that would mean I'd have to run finger ground nugs in the Milaana, which I've done a few times, it's a hassle, but I'll have to try that again.

I don't think using your fingers would be a good way to get a consistent medium fine grind like I am describing, fingers gets you a chunkier coarse grind without any consistency typically? Maybe some consistency depending how you do it lol

I think moist bud hits smoother out of this type of vape, not as scratchy in the throat. (Though you're giving up cloud density)...

Could be, although after the first later hits, it is dried out and then you get plenty of density not less, and I think part of the scratchiness with dryer herbs is that more fine powder particulates find their way through the screen into your throat?

I'll definitely give it a shot. But see, since it's finger ground nugs, it's definitely not staying in place and I would have to cap it with a flat screen anyway.

Yeah also, I have had no issue getting uneven chunkier finger broken type herbs to stay place in a basket, I think you need to fully fill the basket, tamp it down in a bit... Even without a consistent grind, should stay put better, if you are only loading half a basket loosely, then yeah it's going to fall out and I can see how your flat screen cap would solve that issue, and overall be the best experience for your usage style!

There is just so much versatility here

stem pack - I tend to just use this with WPA where it sits upside and doesnt become an issue. i couldnt imagine trying to nurse a stem pack without water

Does anyone stempack? I’m trying to figure out how to do it as I mostly do smaller doses. So the herb would fall out and go straight on the heater. I don’t have any extra screens so is there some kind of household item I can use instead! Also can anyone show me pictures of how to do it? I’m not quite sure.
I've been stem packing for way over a year now. What I did was I took an rbt cooling stem and if you look up in there you will see a ledge in there. I found that a sticky brick jr. screen fits perfect. Do the straw method to place your material in it. I use a medium grind. Draw only once. Then knock off any extra material sticking out of the stem. I like keeping the pack loose so I don't have to stir, except at the end, sometimes. Depending on moisture content. Then cap it. What I did for a cap was I took a basket screen. Lay it on a flat surface, screen facing up. Then take a new pencil or something that size and push down on the center of the screen and you have a cap. Of course you will fine how much of a load pack that will work for you, but I find loose works best for me. I'm a flavor chaser so for wattage I run 28 to 30w and for temp, 300°f most of the time. Have fun my friend. ✌

I’m having trouble visualizing that. Can you send pictures?

I was so pissed off I slapped it off a table, throwing glass everywhere, and then I threw the bitch on concrete just to finish the job. I think I'm selling it and buying a tinymight, fuck this noise. I am sick and fucking tired of replacing the stems in this thing and I curse RBT for his 19mm bullshit. I can put up with the finnicky hits, I can put up with having to replace parts in it, I can put up with it being hard to get a hold of one, but I am fucking DONE buying the same hard-to-get part over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

You can't get a wood cooling stem and wood stems affect the taste.

Tinymight also has a specific size glass stem and even less aftermarket options so I don't see how that would be any better..

Im pretty picky about wood stems for the flavor reason also but I have a couple that impart no taste. One is from Ed and one from Alan. Milliken makes ones with glass inserts. You can always put some boro balls in for cooling or get one that will fit a dyna style condensor, like the ss/ti omega stem from ddave. Tons of options.

I didn't know that Miliken has wooden cooling stems... I'm not sure how that would work, but, I hit them up on it. It's quicker than selling this vape and getting a tinymight (DHL shipping internationally, yuck.). Thank you for your help you two.

Glass lined wood stems (Alan can make them too) Milliken uses glass beads for cooling I think? They look very nice!

Yeah, I contacted Miliken and he already got back to me! You're right; he said he uses glass beads inside the stem and the piece he showed me looks pretty great.

Thank you again for your help, guys; FC came to the rescue again and damn quick too. I thought I was doomed to a hellacious cycle of buying the same part repeatedly.

Thanks fuckcombustion.com for providing a place to hide out and take and idea into its best possible incarnation with a group of close friends. The exert input early in the design process enabled the rapid evolution of the RBT technology and that spirit of customer involvement still exists today. Many thanks and much respect to both the old and new staff especially those two old salty dogs Pak and Stu for making this bold move to keep the community alive in a new and improved way.

Wow Mi1 Mi2 Mi3… what a blur! The Milaana removed the electronics from Zion and tuned the heater to perform as un unregulated device. Milaana was a progression from a rough prototype in the Mi1 to a refined product in the Mi3. For now, the Milaana design progression will end with Mi3 as RBT will table the 19 mm designs with the new designs on the way (Seed, ZapCap, ZipZap…)

Oh you commented but didn't message? Yeah you got to do both if you want to snatch it up... It is annoying that when people don't update their posts if the thing sells, or if people don't respond at all lol

Yeah there were some other comments there, someone may have messaged without even commenting, which you're not really supposed to do either, wild west over there!

Ahh it got pulled without the photos? Damn I should have taken screenshots haha there were other photos with other angles...

This was a nice one, but I think the original spalted units are even nicer, proper Milaana 1 V2 instead of Mi1.5 though yeah this one was beautiful lol I also wish I had one, but I've still got plenty other beauties!
