I thought planet vape also sold silicone caps? For the stems. The red cap that comes with Vapexhale is a good option.

Will these work with an XL8R? They look as if they're straight, and with the ones I posted, the long XL8Rs will only fit joint side up.

Not sure if this will help you, but I store some of my stems this way. They have a smaller model that's maybe 1/5th of the size as well. I've seen these as cheap as $5 used on craigslist and other local sellers markets.

Do they make rubber caps for the Milaana/xl8r stems

Can't say I've tried to cap my xlr8r stems with my old Air 14mm caps but those Air caps work with all my other Milaana stems as long as the screen doesn't have any rim on it. When I was using my og Milaana short stems I'd cap them with the Air caps, stash them in one pocket and the Mi in another for a perfectly portable vape.

I've heard that you're supposed to remove the battery after each use? How important is this? If I'm storing everything in an airtight stash case can I get away with leaving the battery in the unit?

sure that is what the guitar pick is for. slide it over and tighten er up to protect the battery from touching the copper plate when not in use

It is fine to leave the battery in, without pick, as long as it is in a place where you're sure the button cannot get pressed by accident.

I almost feel guilty for buying used... should have waited and bought one from RBT direct, maybe he would stick around!

Although I doubt one Mi3 sale would change anything lol. I've been cautiously putting out bids on his Mi2 auctions... I dont really need one.... so going very conservative with bids. If I happen to win, great. If not, oh well.

I’d say so, though the Mi3 is an unregulated vape and requires some more technique than the Splinter. I have both and I enjoy them both. I’d recommend it. The 3 hits pretty hard when you get your technique dialed in. You need to feather the button and draw slow. Buy one!

I have both and enjoy both on a daily basis. I find the operation of the Milaana to be similar to the Splinter in wattage mode.
