I dig (non-magic) mushrooms of all kinds, prepared in all types of ways. A good mushroom soup, fried mushrooms and steak, a portobello burger, stuffed mushrooms, you name it. They are like nature's chewy, umami-filled sponge that soaks up the great flavor of whatever-it-is you cook them with.

I've tried magic mushrooms a couple of times and never really enjoyed the ride 🤷‍♂️

I can't believe you're complaining about this. After all it`s a dry heat.😀 Like my oven. Does the air-conditioning work adequately in that kind of heat? Stay safe.
I like the heat, after all I chose Tucson for the weather.
We use evaporative Coolers here, and the work well enough if there is no humidity.
Today the humidity is 45%, so I am sweating a little bit.
I have a window air conditioner that a friend got me. If it gets too bad, I close the doors, and stay in my room with the dog.
Thanks for your well wishes!

I like looking at the "wet bulb" temps that take humidity into account.

Here in Montreal in the summer, we get to temps in the 30s (Celsius, or 86F+) but the humidity is terrible. For example, today it's 31C (88F) but it feels like 40C (104F) because of the high humidity. I hate a humid heat. Feels so clammy and uncomfortable all the time.

Humidity is a real concern as global warming gets worse because even relatively low "dry bulb" temps become dangerous if you can't sweat to cool yourself down.

Being too cold is one thing because you can just put on more clothes but being too hot has less solutions that don't require access to electricity.

Oh you live in Montreal !!! Bonjour mon ami. Absolutely a wonderful and beautiful city. Been there quite a few times. My son attended McGill University. He met his wife there. Beautiful girls, great bars and restaurants and more. The old city reminded me of Europe. So did Quebec City. I must say I never acquired a taste for poutine. Taste like merde. I can't wait until I visit again.

It's a great city. Also has the lowest cost of living in North America I would say. McGill is my Alma Mater as well 👍
I agree! You must've got a bad batch! What's not to like about french fries, cheese and gravy? 🤷‍♂️

You said I must have gotten a bad batch. You mean there is such a thing as a good batch?:)
I might be nuts but is seems the beer is stronger that I get here.
I can almost smell the coffee from Tim Hortons.
Used to go a dumpy bar called the Biftek (not sure of the correct spelling) with my son. Pitchers of beer and free popcorn !! No a/c however.

"Why one to a basilar skull fracture?"
"He didn't want to eat the mushrooms."

Looks delicious, i cant find the white cheddar cheese curds here to make it. Nothing in the supermarkets nor any deli's.
Ah, that's too bad because the curds makes it unique from just fries and gravy.

I'd say just use whatever cheese you like that you have on hand. A basic poutine is fries, gravy and cheese curds but you can pimp it up in a lot of different ways. Add mushrooms, or chopped bacon or different types of gravy or cheese. Try changing up the style of fries. It's all good. I like it because it's a comfort food that really sticks to your ribs. Great with beer.

I guess i can answer my own question, yes😱.

Can't fkn believe they let her in the prison kitchen. Not sure if the inmate complaint is true but letting her in the kitchen is ridiculous.

A Corrections Victoria source confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that Patterson had been given a job in the jail kitchen, despite the nature of the accusations that landed her there in the first place.
