I watched a Bill Maher show the other day and found myself agreeing with him more than I generally have before.
One take of his is that the whole DEI thing got carried away, that card was overplayed which, in turn, only fueled backlash and the requisite over-swing of the big pendulum. He lamented several times about the pendulum never coming to rest at the middle.

The fact hasn't changed that there are more of us citizenry than the bro-ligarch's army of greed and spite. I believe it is time for real conversations about a national labor strike, and for targerted boycotting of corporate-sanctioned government oppression. These are tools of the people.
