I watched a Bill Maher show the other day and found myself agreeing with him more than I generally have before.

Yes. Absolutely. It was all for show. In 2020 these corporations didn't want people yelling at them online, so they rolled out a bunch of these programs to virtue signal. But they don't give a fuck about racial equity or inclusion. The Boys on Amazon (lol) has done a great job lampooning performative corporate wokeness.

I understand why people can find DEI/wokeness annoying. But for 99% of people, the only time they experience "DEI" is when they have to do an online class at their job reminding them not to ask, "what kind of Asian are you?" to coworkers. Boo-hoo. The rest of it is just stuff they get mad at on their phones or TV.

Also... we originally had to do "DEI hiring" because we WEREN'T hiring based on merit before. Do people think every profession was dominated by white men like...pre 1990 because of merit? No. Laws and rules were in place to ensure mediocre white men had less competition.
