That's for a Santa Cruz Shredder Omni nail. I'm sure there is gonna be a bunch of aftermarket ones considering the work already being dedicated to inserts. Looks like a bubble cap might fit but I don't know enough about the Peak dimensions to give any suggestions.

Id be fine with buying an atomizer once a year, still cheaper then buying/filling a torch for a year.

Best thing about the atomizer being so easy to remove/replace is it creates a platform for more companies to develop on. Stuff is just know starting to come out and it will only get better.

@Danksta You should not need to buy a new atomizer unless you do something to break the heat pad. I have done a crap load of dabs through my unit and tore down the atomizer portion to clean it. Its actually a pretty sweet design in thats its simple. But very effective. The ceramic inserts work really well and torch clean. The quartz inserts will def bring the flavor out even more. I have 2 ordered from eternal and they should be here next week. But I have also seen at least 3 different glass attachments people have made for the base and they are sick!!! I think this is more of a platform than a singular device as I expect to see a lot of 3rd party attachments and such in the near future for the peak. If you have an opportunity to actually try one out, you really should. There is no snake oil in this. Its all legit. I have several skeptical friends that have already gone out and purchased one after a sesh on mine. It really is a game changer. I also imagine other people trying to build off this and cannot wait to see where this all goes =)

You had called it an over glorified atomizer. This is technically true since the parts are similar to a box mod and cart setup. But thats it. They are actually worlds apart as the peak has stoner proofed all the aspects of the unit and anyone can use it and feel like they are comfortable with the unit and the functions. I am a fairly heavy weight dabber and this thing just ruins me. The flavor I get out of it is insane and the efficiency of how far a normal dab will go is crazy.

Not trying to convince you to drink the kool aid. Just maybe give it a sip =P

I would fill out the reservation page on Puffco. 2 of my buddies got them through there within a day or so of signing up and you dont have to put anything down

Yeah, it only took about 4 or 5 days for my 2nd reservation. Also, I was complaining about the less than stellar performance of my Peak earlier in the thread, turns out my first peak has a faulty atomizer. I thought I needed to pull slower but it was just a problem with the heater. I would have never known if I hadn't bought another.

BTW, I asked how much the replacement atomizers will cost if/when they sell them and will report back if I get an answer.

Just flew with it from MD to FL on Thursday in my carry on, no problems at all.

The bowl is a dish from the hunibadger that I sanded down to the right height. The carb cap is a Santa Cruz shredder ball cap.

Off topic side note: It really nice to hear wayne putting effort into his music again.

So I just heard about this device today and powered through this thread for the last hour. Honestly it looks amazing and I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much since New tech like this can often under deliver on the hype. I still have a few questions that I don’t think Were answered:

Does the device have pass through charging?

Does the battery really last the 30ish hits they claim it does?

Could this thing realistically replace an enail set up if you are a hard-core most of the day dabber? That’s the other reason I really want to know about pass through charging...

How much will the user have to be knowledgeable about atomizers and rebuilding them?

Pass through charging- no.

30 dabs- more like 25, but they are definitely very close/the same compared to how a full rig hits so I’m not too upset about it. It’s also including multiple heat ups per dab.

It has entirely replaced my gavel and banger hanger due to convenience.

I’m not the best at rebuilding stuff, this is very easy. Two thick leads and a big, thick ceramic plate.

Thanks for the info, other than being really bummed about the lack of passthrough charging these reports make me very excited. I do worry how long the battery will last if it has to be recharged everyday for the serious enthusiast.

They have a 1 year warranty on the battery. So that should cover any hardcore users =)

Anyone from the northeast have one? Used it outside or in an unheated garage? It’s been cold the past month and I’m curious how it performs in non ideal conditions. Appreciate any feedback.

Puffco is out of Brooklyn, NY. I doubt the weather makes much of a difference but @tylerj55 has used one in MD recently...any outdoor use tyler?
