I followed these instructions to clean mine...a pain but possible with patience (and a couple torx bits),yet still this happened.
Read the comments in relation to glue if you have even a slightly newer unit than in the videoI followed these instructions to clean mine...a pain but possible with patience (and a couple torx bits),

the newer v2's are much harder to deep clean
Thanks for the heads up on the V2 being more difficult, I have only done the job on my older OG unit, not my newer V2 (sounds like I will need to use my heat gun a bit when I finally do the newer unit).Read the comments in relation to glue
How does the stainless steel sheath look?
Clean as a whistle. I did have this in rotation with another and cleaned them frequently in 99%.
How frequently of a cleaning are you talking though? Like daily?
I guess I always waited to long to start a soak as I never scooped a spare atty to swap with.
Are you doing cold start or hot start dabs with your Peak? I remember you never really liked the cold starts from these e-rigs but I'm not really sure what you've been rocking since our gem$toned days!
Are there quartz or ruby inserts for the 3DXL chamber? What do you think if you have tried them?
Given the new product just released by the competition (Dr. Dabber Switch 2) do you think or have you heard anything about it in Puffco's live shows if they will do something similar regarding inserts or heating profiles?

On LCV site they sell ruby, AIN, quartz and diamondium inserts from JCVAP and say they're compatible with Peak Pros. It seems you don't need the JCVAP atomizer, or I'm missing something ?No, but I think JCVAP has their own chamber that's compatible on the 3DXL and there are ruby inserts for it.

Good to know, thanksThe ICA chambers are designed for it, so you get the bottom heating as well. You could try tossing one in a 3dxl chamber, but you will likely have to heat it up on max temp for a cycle before use. It takes about 30s of full blast blazer big shot torching on a 19mm ruby... that's a lot of btu's/calories of blast furnace! And IMO, if you care about your dabbing surface and want to enjoy the purity of ruby, not sure why you would dab off of it when the vape path goes through ceramic, metal, and silicone. You'd be much better off with the new switch2 imo that has actually been designed for it, but I won't be able to confirm that until it's in my hands.
