This is a Puffco signature thing, because the devices are designed/prioritized for flavour and vape quality.
I can feel that 👍
If you prefer to dab at your static set temp, just wait a few more seconds and have at it!
Got it !
I know for a fact it's part of the algorithm
Also normal, just part of their programming
Cool, good to know !
It's probably your technique or settings
Certainly. I think I better at it since yesterday
with that 3dxl if you want more, you gotta rip it more!
Perfect
it's so smooth it feels like nothing is going in! lol
Actually that's one aspect that impressed me out of the box.
With the smoothness, I love the design, materials used and build quality 👌
you're just an excited vape enthusiast that wants to make sure you're getting the right experience that you should be getting out of the box!
Indeed, thanks for this, it makes me feel better/less dumb 😅
I'm happy to be your level 1 support!
Thank you VERY much ! You've been a great support ! I'm now reassured and happy 🙌😁

I also upped my draw speed a bit 👍
When you set the vapor mode to XL the app tells you harder pulls make more vapor. I need to splash the concentrate up the walls for the big clouds from my experimenting.
I also found the temps jump around more in XL vapor mode as you described than standard vapor mode...some electrickery going on for XL vapor.

@LesPlenty what's your preferred temps/profile these days with your tasty solventless extracts? Are you an XL intensity fan? Do you use stock glass? I seem to be preferring low 500's on max these days, XL from time to time and sometimes jack it up to mid 500s on standard or high. So much flexibility and variation!

I do like the XL vapor version. My main temp is 215c/419f with the XL vapor for 30 seconds. I will sometimes start at 220c/428f without the XL vapor for a puff or 2 then finish with the above setting. I will get between 3-10 puffs depending on blob size. Staying at these temps makes for an easy cleanup with my rosin.
I have a few different glass attachments but usually stick with the laser-cut Puffco OG with the bent silicone travel cap so I do not have to lean over while vaping.

Hi everyone! Even though I feel better with my Peak Pro 3DXL, I still have the feeling my Pivot gives "better" performances in term of vapor production.
I made a quick comparative video showing the first hit on red with both devices, with the exact same dab (same material weighted at 0,04g).
The vapor from the pivot is denser, right ?
Also, I can take a second substantial hit with the peak pro but get almost nothing with the pivot and after the "session" I have more left in the Peak pro chamber than on the Pivot.
What do you think guys ? TIA

While I agree mostly, it does almost look like a bigger more diffuse hit from the pro, and a smaller thicker hit from the pivot

Anyone looking for feedback on a JCVAP XXL dish on a peak pro? I just replaced a 3dxl with it, it was instantly recognized and works perfect out of the box. I'm rocking 2 4mm terp pearls and the 3dxl joystick. I will likely be ordering a proper spinner cap but this works better than the stock dish imo so far. Tastes better too, but couldn't say if there was a difference using inserts. I'm raw doggin that ceramic heater.

Thanks for sharing, I was looking for this exact info just last week and bought another 3DXL instead. Next cop lights I'm trying the XXL dish. What temps you running on 3DXL vs JCXXL ?

@Momor What temp & intensity are you running on your Pro? Took me a bit to get mine tuned for density

Same temps on my 3dxl as on the XXL. Main difference is that bottom heating of the XXL gives more satisfying low temp hits. Haven't gone for the half gram challenge yet, but I expect this dish to again outperform the 3dxl here as well being taller and wider

Tastes better too

That's really interesting because it seems most prefer the 3 grams
I get these cop lights every now and again and the simple fix is to pry out (just a tiny bit) the gold pins on the bottom of the atty and it always fixes the fault for me...so far with 4000 dabs on 2 different units.

You must have the older style of 3dxl chamber! :)

Thanks! I tried everything BUT this, I was actually doing the opposite and pushing the pins in further.

I'm using default red temperature with intensity set on XL
yeah 530XL mode should = Density for sure, I get very dense vapour at that temp on lower intensity. Do you have another topper or a friend to could swap with, it could be out of spec intake on your glass. I run a wym reducer on my reg 3D and it helps a tonne with getting denser vapour at lower temps. But it only needs that reducer to function proper because I run a dry top that has a pea size air intake on it.

Are you talking about the 5DXXL chamber or is the "dish" another thing ?

The "5d XXL chamber for puffco peak pro"

I haven't tried the 3 grams, but flavor is better than the 3dxl I believe cause of the bottom heating. Low temps don't have to be washed in to the side walls or anything

Interesting, i've heard from people with both Carta 2 and 3dxl say the flavour is superior on the Puffco. I always assumed it was because the dab wasn't constantly being heated on the bottom. I suppose it would make for a better one ripper, but i've had absolutely zero complaints about my 3dxl, especially in the flavour dept, but i maintain my chambers with OCD lol.

I have had my 3DXL for about a year, if there is a newer version, am I missing out on something?
I do like the sound of the bottom being heated on the 5DXL and may get one to replace my 3D chamber on my older V1 Peak Pro as I am also looking at another travel kit from JCVAP,

Not really, there is a new pin design, now you can't pull the pins anymore.... well, maybe the middle one but i'm not trying unless I NEED to lol. Happened a few months back, in response to these pin/connection issues (as well as a fw update). I did experience the flashing glitch which they made that fw update for, which is now 100% FIXED. I'll try to take a pic later with my new baby (Storm LE)!
