Vitolo, I am so sorry to hear of your problems. You have been an inspiration to so many. I, myself, have helped provide vapes for a few people in need, in part because of hearing about the work you do and I am sure many here have done the same. You may have hit a roadblock in your quest to do good but rest assured that there are others that, because of you, are still paying it forward. I am not a religious man but I hope that all the good karma you deserve comes your way and you beat this insane miscarriage of justice.

Also so sorry to finally hear about all this crap, shocked and appalled beyond belief.

Thoughts go out to you and Patty Vito, karma will come back around for you, you've done far too much good in this world for it to treat you this way in return.

May those officers be afflicted with illness and have their only means of relief abruptly and harshly stolen so they feel the pain they cause

Update.
Our lives, while in turmoil... move on.
In absence of patients to help, I do a couple of skype sessions a week, to discuss MMJ in general, and to answer questions about vaporizers.
We still see our therapist weekly, and he has provided us with a number of "mental" tools with which to facilitate the emotional processing of what is going on.
Patty has seen our Medical Doctor to address depression and anxiety attacks, the results of the raid on our home. They are helping, but neither of us could do it without the support of one another.
We have learned to budget and live in a different manner than before.
As for medicating personally...
It took me until very recently to get fully medicated in a way that has me moving smoothly and in control of body's "overflow" movements.
At first, meds were difficult to come by, so they had to be used sparingly...
after all- 4 hours of complete comfort can be easily overridden by the unpleasantness of no relief for 12 more hours... so careful measurement and dosing is in order.
Also becoming highly medicated can, during stressful times cause anxiety.
Never having had to buy meds was a blessing of the past that no longer exists.
I am learning.
I was gifted some blue dream recently.
At this time I am fully medicated and moving with a minimum of tremors and less nausea.
There is no news on our case.
At the case management hearing, our attorneys asked for and were granted an extension, and so we do not go back until October.
Thanks again to all of you.... Members, Staff, Retailers, and Manufacturers that helped us get our Attorney.
As a side note .... Since Patty is without work, she qualified for Medical care through the state's health care program for those with no income. That means that she was able to sign up to see the same Doctor that I see, and so for the first time we share the same Medical Doctor, and that has added to out feeling of security and togetherness.
Much to be grateful for in these times...
  • FC related folks helped with Lawyers
  • State picked up Patty's healthcare
  • Lutheran Social Services has been there for us to provide an extra half gallon of fresh milk every week.
  • Jewish Family Services provides our clinical Psychologist, which has no fee for us.
  • Pima Community Action Agency is paying half our water/sewage/trash fees.
  • Electric company has cut us slack to the tune of $17 a month off our bill.
  • Our Internet provider granted a 40% discount on our internet service.
  • Local Dispensary has given me a permanent discount in return for education.
Oh... we have blessings to still count, that is without question.
Now we must wait.
We have each other to wait with...
and we have you folks here at FC.

I have ten vaporizers in rotation now.
I used to have over 50 in daily rotation.
Boy was I ever spoiled!
I miss my collection of Log Vapes.
I had an Underdog, Toasty Top, E-Nano, Purple Days. and a half dozen Old School Zaps.... and one CRZ (Mabel). I still have all of my stems.. they left them for some reason.
The ten Vaporizers I have now in use are covering my needs.
I suppose I do miss my Herbalizer too, but we all adapt.

The 10 units I now have are treated as gold.
Gold.....
precious...
as precious as our family here at FC.
Hit me up if you want to talk.
I still conduct vape sessions via Skype.
OK, you all are caught up.
Time to go Fuck Combustion some more, and have a new vape session.
Thanks for allowing me to ramble.

We had since September been advised to not visit this thread and give updates.
To not share with you, our fellow patients, friends and supporters was hard.
All that I say now is public record, and according to the lawyers we are allowed
to share.
After 9 months of fear, pain, medical complications, anxiety and therapy...
... My wife and I pled guilty.
The trips to court wore on us both and we both had to spend a week recuperating
after each trip to the courthouse.
After signing the plea agreement we became "Felons"
The trips to court are now over.
Our legal situation has finally come to a head.
February 11th was our sentencing day officially, but my attorney had a serious heart issue.
Atrial fibrillation it was called and he was in ICU for a week.
The sentencing day was postponed.
Yesterday, February 25 was sentencing day.
The Judge sentenced us with compassion and consideration.
The charges could have brought Prison Sentences and exorbitant fines (6 figures!).
Mercy and Grace...
...have been granted, and compassion shown to us.
We both got 6 months of supervised probation.
In 36 months we are allowed to ask to have our criminal records lowered to a misdemeanor.
The fee for probation for us both will be $130 a month for 6 months (to total $780)
The fines are $3400 for both of us ($1700 each).
We feel that we were treated fairly considering the uglier potential punishments.
We are still allowed our meds, as long as we are always mindful of the exact weights.
In our ownership at any time there can be no more than 2.5 ounces each (5 ounces total).
Moving forward and letting frustration go is easier thanks to our clinical psychologists meetings with us. frustration builds and if not dealt with can hurt your mental health.
We learned a great deal with his help about ourselves,
the reasons we are "what" we are, who we are, and why we are the way we are.
Patty and I have grown to trust each other, more than ever before.
We love each other in a closer way than before, and we certainly appreciate each other more.
Thank you all.
You all helped.
You were with us every step of the way.
You helped us get legal counsel.
You encouraged us to look forward with hope.
Thank you all for your prayers and positive energy.
Edit:
I would be remiss if I did not add, that the probation department and those that we were assigned to report to and work with have been helpful, and are making an effort to be as helpful to us as is possible... yet another blessing.

Good to hear you can get it off you record as a felony and that the sentence was fairly light. Still......IT NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. I wish you both some peace now and hope your probation officer is a decent human. Stay strong Uncle Vito! We're here for both of you.

PS. Glad you get to keep using your meds!

Thank you for your supportive sentement of the way things went down.
The way I have grown to look... is only forward... I have to.
Rumination has no place in a healthy mind.
I wish you both some peace now
Thanks... You sent much strong energy our way, and we stood on your collective shoulders.
Stay strong Uncle Vito!
Thinking of you guys calling me Uncle Vito took me on a level course on many dysfunctional moments.
Thanks @Madcap79

Its sad to know that these situations can and are still considered criminal. Vitolo, I am glad that you received a light sentence and will not be facing time. As far as we have come on the subject of marijuana, this just shows us that we have no where near come far enough. Its good that you are taking the positive path and moving forward from this unfortunate chapter in your life. I can guarantee, you still have plenty of good karma in the bank. Heres hoping the rest of 2016 treats you well.

Wow, I was praying the update was that charges were dropped.
Good that compassion was shown in sentencing but still horrible that it's a felony for awhile and probation/fines etc.

But at least it's over for the two of you.
Peace.
A big thank you both for all the help and hope you provided!!!

Kinda ironic, huh?
Bad things sometimes happen to good people. When those bad things relate to "the justice system", we cannot just toss them out. We are now in THEIR movie and we must participate. It hurts. It strains relationships. It makes us think we are not worthy(a main goal of LEO). It costs us money....the lawyer tax. Sometimes "they" even threaten to take our home. Scary, scary stuff.
BUT if we stay focused and try to stay rational and logical, it is not so bad. If we participate like they want us to, they treat us a little better. The new signals begin as all the lawyers read "just the facts ma'am". They say "Holy shit, these folks are not the bad people we deal with every day". And then the judge and the judgement.
Just like the lone DEA agent that passed for a hippy said at our bust as he sat in my recliner watching the keystone cops rummage through our house finding only Aromazap stuff and a little MJ here and there. He said "Don't worry about this, it won't be bad". Then he laughed. He was right.
Same with you Vito and Patty. The irony is about how strong good people just get stronger and gooder going through their system. We end up better people for the experience. Fuck bitterness as it only hurts US, not THEM. This will pass, just like a big constipated turd. And we will feel better then.
A word of wisdom Vito and Patty. You are not done yet. Dealing with probation is another test. They will require this and that from you(possibly) so hang in there for the next six months. Once probation is over, they will leave you alone. And be prepared for more self control testing. Like what the fuck are they doing to earn their "cost of probation"? NADA!
In my case I got to do some counseling which they paid for. No, I did not need it but it sure taught me to thank my lucky stars. Sitting in group with a bunch of seriously screwed up kids showed me so much about life.......real life out there............

Vito, so glad the court process is over for you. It's too bad that the laws are so rediculous when it comes to our fav flower. I was hoping that the whole thing would have been dropped due to the great things you do for the medical community in your area.

To think that cannabis might be even legal in a couple years in Arizona is something to hope for, which makes this whole thing even more ridiculous. Wishing you and your beautiful wife many years of happiness. So sorry this whole thing even happened to you guys.

A big FC hug to you and your wife

Here's a vaped idea -- Adopt-a-month
I'll go first.
March.
Your turn?

The first month was scariest, and we were least prepared for it.
We make our first visit and payment on March 2nd.
Patty has applied for disability, due to the M.D.'s and Psychologists recommendation.
This may take time, but will provide us with help once they approve it.
March seems so soon.
Thanks @ChooChooCharlie from both of us....
The kind of gratitude that hopefully you can feel across the space to where you are.
