Website is up. Things I noticed right away:
- No backorder feature.
- No live chat.
- No discount codes.
- Everything I need is still out of stock.
The layout kind of has that Windows 8 tile theme, not bad. But functionally, I see no upgrades at all. There is no reason the website should be live without backorder feature and live chat, IMO. Until you get backorder to work, the less graphical the website is, the better, since everyone is hitting with with change detection scripts.
I wonder if they got hacked TBH. They haven't answered my email regarding the mass emailing of everyone's old invoices. I was also going to have them purge my old invoice(s), but no response. Whoever worked on the website now could have that info. "PlanetVape will not sell or distribute customer’s personal information to outside parties." Hopefully not.
I literally have checked the website multiple times a day since like late summer, PVHEGonG is always out of stock. People are using scripts to instantly buy out the most desirable items and reselling them. If you can't fix this simple issue during a revamp of website, you just lost an entire circle of customers.
The good news is this creates competition. If PV does not want to expand and allow customers to buy their products, then we will have to find a talented glassworker in the area to design a better version of the PVHEGonG. Thicker glass just beneath bowl rim, perfect fit (no 15degree angle), carbed, turbo only. Coming soon to central USA.
