I'm getting some hairline cracks and semi-transparent patches around the screen of my mouthpiece. Anyone know if the mouthpiece is under warranty? I switched to the PonG since it can't be healthy to vaporize plastic but I've only had the unit a couple weeks and don't want to wind up SOL.
I am getting the exact same thing after getting my unit delivered to Australia (my home country) last week!

The PonG is the one that has melted on mine! Capping your bullets with cut-to-fit pipe filter screens (the metal ones you can buy from any dodgy tobacconist/head shop) seems essential!
It seems that when the unit is in use at heats 3-5 with either the PonG or standard mouthpiece, if it is held at a downward angle towards the user, the bullet tips up and the heated contents melt the plastic edges around the filter screen.
I would love to see an all glass Pong adapter for the PNP ( @
Clear_Dome ) , and would gladly pay for one, it seriously changed my mind about vapes being too cumbersome!
TRVB, give us some love!

I figured for what it's worth I should give my other impressions about the unit!
Aside from what I mentioned above, the melty Pong/Mouthpiece adapters are the Achilles heal of what is otherwise an incredible device. The other minor issue is the battery life - 50 mins if you use low settings. I have gone from a very heavy smoking habit (joints, 20-40 a day for years mostly bud and occasionally hash), and would love to be out for the day with my PNP and not need to constantly recharge to appease my one remaining cheeky habit.
The bullets are a great idea, but for the love of Christ, don't touch them for a good minute or five after use. They are hot! I've burned myself a couple of times when I was somewhat indisposed from some unscrupulous vapours
The FMJ bullet, at least with the hash I have seen used, (never seen any other oils/BHO etc) is useless. The air pressure is too restrictive and you really have to suck the air through! Not great!
However, as many here may know, cutting small flakes of hash and putting it on top of a half-full flower bullet and then topping it off with more bud is ideal!
Three warnings from a clumsy owner -
- DO NOT GET TOO ENTHUSIASTIC WITH CLEANING! I know someone who used the supplied brush to clean some extraneous AVB from the heating chamber - far too soon after use on heat setting 3. Luckily, the clumsy owner managed to realise before fully entering the brush into the chamber.
They still spent the next 4.5 hours scrubbing the chamber with the nearest white grain alcohol (Bacardi) before letting the alcohol evaporate and seeing a clean enough chamber to contemplate using again - after another 3 hours of further cleaning.
- Do not use the device on heat settings 4 or 5 at any other angle apart from vertical with mouthpiece facing up. EVER. You are going to melt your PonG or melt the tip of your mouthpiece after enough of this.
- Do run the device for a good half hour to an hour on the highest setting after giving it its initial 3 hour charge. Someone I know's unit had some dust and whatnot in the chamber that they'd much rather clean out/cook into the air than breath in with their desired materials!
Finally, if I could encourage anything at all (I know I'm a newcomer here and please, take what I say for what you believe it's worth!):
- please remember to cap your bullets with a good metal screen on the top of your materials. It will prevent unpleasant damage to your mouthpiece/pong and save you valuable cashish!
Kindest regards,
