Phase3 Vaporizers

I was totally confuzalated about what the ZXXL was about. I did not realize it is wireless (which is cool) and I also thought it was huge (25mm) not 18mm, so a bespoke piece for Cheech and Chong, perhaps?

I can be smart sometimes, and at other times...

Bill
You could always get a joint adapter 14mm male to 18mm female for the zxxl. The 25mm is the outside diameter of the Zxxl or the electric heating coil diameter it fits, it. It's on my wanted list just got to save the pennies now.
Sorry friend I just saw your PM on here this morning,
I try to keep most customer service inquiries going through email as it's easier for me to keep track of everything there, but it's all good!

Thanks so much for supporting the original ruby / sapphire evaporator!

I hope everyone in the Z Tribe is gearing up for a nice weekend with some extra special flowers to puff on

I 100% recommend the matching ultra low profile zirconia bowl for the full Z experience.

I'll honor these heater head orders for this round of parts, but in the future I might remove the ability to order the heater head by itself again, and instead just make an option to order the "full kit" without any electronics.

Appreciate you rocking with me friend!
And thanks for enrolling in the Z Tribe!

Quick and easy DIY!
I used to use an old herb grinder to hold the stand down before I put it under my PID.

I can totally understand wanting to arrange the controller in a different location though.

I'm still waiting on my new prototypes to test out some stuff in that regard, the order has shipped and is in the area but for some reason the delivery has not been completed. Going to try and get that sorted through today to start testing some new gear.
Thanks for the update and the bowl is next on the list. I just hope there's some left by the time I can order. I'm really liking the 3D design of the ZXXL, so that's high on the list , too.

My cheap fix for the stand. Purchased a cheap ten dollar ashtray to keep my spent ABV in and also holds the stand steady.

I intended to reply to this post straight away--but I got distracted by vapes and vaping-related materials. LOL

On Wednesday I was feeling ancy, so I decided to hit a near-by charity shop, a "boutique" where the Salvation Army funnels their nicer items.

I found something. Came home. Saw your post. And laughed.

Not exactly the same, but in the same wheelhouse:

Future stand sandbag? Who knows?

I should.

In the past year or so, I've been assembling an enviable collection of vintage glassware.

Marvelous engraved crystal cocktail stemware from the 30s to mid-century modern glassware and more.

I've been amazed at what I've been able to snap up, for virtually nothing.

Kinda fun.

Very nice. You should meet @ChooChooCharlie, another collector of fine glass. His art collection is off the hook!

Thanks.

In the main thanks to my late-father, who was a filmmaker by profession and an art-historian whose knowledge base always left experts in their fields in awe by avocation (Dad was incomperally brilliant, really!), I have a nice art collection myself.

I'm looking forward to setting up my new place. Art, nice stemware, fine vaping products, other cool gear. I'll be styling, LOL

Much work ahead.

I said it previously, but I intend to embrace the "living well is the best revenge" school of thought.

@coolbreeze Love the RBB MB. Did you scoop that from Scott? I have the plain version with no scallops. Love my RBB MB bubbler. Big shout out to Scott at @VGOODIEZ for his assistance on the RBB. I want to get one in 18mm. @Spy Car No worries about the delayed response. I'm glad to see that you were able to source something to hold the stand in place. And yes I agree it is similar to what I did with the cheap ashtray.

I found that earlier in the thread (I can't remember whose). Mine is a silver fumed one with an opal on top. I love that thing too. Got it from Vgoodiez! There was a minute there when people were showing off their scalloped pieces or finding new ones to post. Mine is the one on the right; it and the clear one are from Texas Hot Glass.

@coolbreeze How do you like the Texas Hot Glass piece? have looked at some of their stuff before. Might consider getting something from them in the future:
It's great stuff. I have that fumed inline bubbler and a sherlock shredder. The Shredder is a fantastic smaller rig that I think benefits almost any collection, it's super useful and handles flavor well. The bigger rig was kind of a one-off but also very lovely, well-designed and constructed. It had a flaw when I received it but I sent it back and got it returned quickly in perfect condition. Communication was excellent, etc. I really like the thickness and quality of the work. I'd replace the Shredder immediately if I broke it and the inline rig if possible.

Might someone have the dimensions of the PID picture just upthread?

I'm considering fabricating some sort of station, which would be way easier at old home vs future condo.

Cheers,

Thanks so much for rocking with me since day 1 my friend!!
I wouldn't be able to offer these performance products without the support of passionate enthusiasts like YOU!

Hope you had a super day dude!!

Love seeing that dense sweetened condensed milk (la lechera :D )
People often pair the ZX with little flavor saver rigs, but this vid is a solid reminder how that lil' ripper has no trouble milking up larger tubes with ease.

Wish I still had my 15" American Helix to make some video clips with, that tube was huge!

@Spy Car. I pre-ordered one of the ZXXL 's just to use with all of my 18mm stuff. The ZXXL bowl will be native 18mm. Basically if you are fan of 18mm or want more air flow or you may just want a bigger bowl that you can put more herb into. Those are all reasons for someone to purchase a ZXXL. Honestly though 14 mm is the most common size that you will see glass water pipes in. I would say most people will be fine with the ZX I can get choked out by the little bitty ZX. The ZX if you load it up all the way, will suffice for anyone. At this point for me, it's all about having different options available. Since the ZXXL was the first wireless design by Phase3, I chose not to wait around for a wireless ZX and just pulled the trigger on the ZXXL. @Spy Car if most of your glass is in 14mm then you probably wouldn't want to spend the money for a ZXXL just to use with 18mm bongs. I have a really bad case of VAS. And simply did not want to wait around for a wireless zx to be developed. Although if Ryan ever makes a wireless zx I will more than likely buy one. Hell I'm not going to lie, I want the whole damn lineup, LOL, the portable conduction device, and a wireless zx to boot. I hate to sound like a Phase3 fanboy here. When you run across a vape made by a vape enthusiast who puts all of his time and creativity and does all of his own research and development, there is something to be said for a boutique company like that. Phase3 products are well thought out designs that have been tried and tested by various people that Ryan sends them out to. Ryan is also a perfectionist so I buy from Phase 3 with confidence knowing that I'm getting a product made by a vape connoisseur who also appreciates the same things in a vape that I do (flavor & efficiency). Ryan is a perfectionist and would never knowingly release a product with design flaws. These are all reasons why I'm such a fan of the Phase3 products that Ryan produces. Sure you could go throw your money down on a pre=order ACE from Vapvana or a multitude of other vapes. My last comment is to say that when you place a pre-order with Phase3, have some patience. I placed a pre-order for the ZXXL back in July. I have been patiently waiting since then. I don't mind waiting. Because I know that when it arrives it will be a top notch device. Sure I could get a ball vape from any of the other companies. But I want craftsmanship, I want something made from medical grade material. I like the fact that the ZX was made in ceramic zirconia. I feel that ceramic zirconia is about the closest thing you can get to glass that will you give you the best flavor. I want something that's been through several design changes and has been fine tuned and all of the bugs worked out before I get it. Ryan is one of us, he is looking for all the same things in a vape that we are. Which is the whole reason that he created Phase3. And it is for all of these reasons why I never mind on waiting on something from Ryan.

I just wanted to thank you for posting this absolutely stellar testimonial!

It means a lot to read stuff like this, I really appreciate all of you who make this possible.
Anyone following for a while knows this venture has been full of highs and lows - thank you all for your patience and support.
I'm so lucky to be able to work with cool people, nearly everyone has been understanding and courteous and I really appreciate that.

For anyone else following along for the journey and truly enjoying their ZX, please consider leaving a review on my website if you've got a few moments to spare, this "social proof" helps me out a lot as a small business with limited exposure.

I actually have more reviews on my website than most of my much more popular competitors do.
I think that says a lot in of itself.

I can get them from the manufacturer if a member doesn't beat me to it!

I'm using a different PID controller than my kits come with; one from my buddy MaxVapor.
It's been running here nearly 24/7 since 2018 and still works fine so I just can't get rid of it.

Also good news friends,

I've been in contact with FedEx and we've finally located my package of new PHASE3 prototype parts for future developments; that's supposed to be arriving sometime today. I should have an update later for some of the parts like the coil handle and the wireless station. The new portable vaporizers and more functional parts will surely need more time for testing. I know a bunch of you are looking forward to hearing about that stuff so thanks everyone for your interest in true enthusiast vape products. Power was out for 2 days here so I've got some emails and such to catch up to, appreciate everyones patience and hope you fine folks are all gearing up for an extremely terpy weekend!

Awesome. Wishing you success on the r&d phase of these new products to come. Can't wait to see what you will be offering in the future.
