About to pull the trigger on a ZXL and would ABSOLUTELY jump at the opportunity to order a ZXXL as well!

Appreciate the interest friend, thanks so much for spreading the good word and vibes!

Well y’all, I finally got off my ass and preordered the ZXL with an extra bowl! I’ve been spending my discretionary funds (+) on non-vape toys, which is batshit crazy, I know. Then I went through a phase of self-examination: with the Z8 satisfying my daily medication needs, did I really need to buy a ZXL or was this just more FOMO consumerism? Of course, the answer’s a no for the former and a yes on the latter but fuck it. It’s going to be nice to have the ZXL downstairs and the Z8 upstairs, living in pure luxury!

Fuck it, I say!

Thanks so much for rocking with the best!

Beyond stoked to have you on board the big boat my dude!!
Salutations and stellar vaping, all across the univerZe!

I’m in.

I'm just gonna bite the bullet and build one of these premium TED sticks since that format is where all the enthusiasm seems to be

I'd love to see it! For me the teds are a high ritual piece. They lose to the desktops at home and they lose to the tm2 out and about. But for vaping out friends or as a desktop replacement while traveling they win hands down for me! FWIW where I am with teds i am all about the single heatup for the entire bowl and easy reheats so i can pass it around a circle easily. I'm also more about gifting flavor rather than effects. The T2 is my goto and the only one who uses my tornado is me. I would love a ted where i can handle all the heating duties easily and can just pack bowl after bowl to hand out the best flavor ever <3

It would also be pretty awesome if the ted fit the zx head or came with a crucible type thing to heat the hotstick in a 16mm or 20mm coil. That might imply more cooling capability for the ted than you were planning though. or it the ted could double as a tm stem.....

The myth is that we're living the good life. ; )

But seriously, it can also mean less lofty things like preparing for work, having an exercise routine, making dinner, anything that follows a prescribed set of actions, usually with some underlying meanings. One definition is "done in accordance with social custom or normal protocol," with examples being a handshake, Happy Hour, or chilling on the porch with a ZX. ; )

Anyhow, I don't usually compose myths (knowingly!) but if we need one, how's this:
When Raven created man, he knew he could not allow them to see everything or they would undo the very creation in their fear and confusion. It made men less dangerous, but also less happy. Raven sent Crow to take the shape of a man and see if he could figure out something to make men less miserable in their ignorance. Crow took a common weed and gave it magical properties that showed a little bit more, hints of the the grandness of the living world and who man is to be in relation to it. Crow's magic brought relief and inspiration, and men became happier in their lives, and able to learn to see.
Crow and Raven, waiting to enlighten us:

Awesome! Will it be like anything you've shown us before or something altogether new? Can't wait to see it/try it!

No zirconia.
At least, not initially.
The plan is to develop this line in stainless or titanium, as per the current industry standard.
I'm trying to get something going where I can get parts in quicker than these boutique ceramic desktops.
If the line proves successful, it could be ported over to a ceramic version later.

The idea from the Puritan concept is still in place, to use standard Dynavap caps to provide temperature indication.
As those parts are already developed - it's one less thing for me to have to mess with, design, and source - so I can focus on the vapor.

The oven design is hybrid heated; but the goal is to truly leverage a convection forward extraction in a small, compact, energy efficient and familiar platform. And do so with no lengthy heat up times or big blowtorches. No beads.

The idea is go for more of that PHASE3 style dense, tasty, high efficiency, rapid extraction experience.
Less so another pseudo-doob, with tons of mass and heat retention. Though any "mass adding" add-ons would work here if wanted.

Cooling is provided by a hopped up, revised version of the PHASE3 MAKO design.

A lot of my other designs, like the Quad Core and Puritan made use of "convection air cooling" but I feel like that concept wasn't well absorbed, so, moving away from that to more traditional conduction based cooling systems. Trying to stay familiar here, rather than swim too far "against the current." Also - the convection cooling was more so meant to be applied to more conduction heavy ovens - as this new oven is biasing more convection air, we don't really want to divert much airflow from the oven.

Should be no need for coil heating, It's gonna heat up quick as it's not a bulky high mass design,
even a small single jet torch could be sufficient; or optimized-for-efficiency induction heating.
This design is meant to make things as efficient as possible.
If the device is made of titanium, it might heat even faster than a Ti Dyna.
This vape is meant to have some finesse, not just another "brute force" type vape.

or chilling on the porch with a ZX. ; )

That reminds me a lot of the ancient philosopher, inventor, and mathematician - Vapimedes
Vapimedes was famously well known for hitting his ZX while staring at the night sky.
