After seeing people getting their zx’s I had to order one, I think I grabbed the second last one. I wasn’t sure if I needed another vape after my sx as it works so well, but I did buy 2 coils so why not. Can’t wait to try it when it lands down under. The black zirconia looks sick!
@invertedisdead Bravo for providing a bowl that fits and brings the herb closer to the heater. My time trying to get the best out of the B0 has been utterly infuriating with all the bowls being too deep and weirdly shaped. You are worth investing in for this alone imo.

@invertedisdead If we only have access to a 3 wrap coil (UK) would a stretched coil be preferred if given the choice?

Heads up... I ran out of screens lol. I gave everyone who ordered a bowl a pretty good amount to keep you going for a while, but the result is I ran out a lot faster than I had expected!
Also I don't typically "lose stuff" but I just cannot find my long tweezers I use to assemble these, and that's driving me crazy, so I might have to order a few pairs.
I need more screens to assemble pending ZX's and process the orders that came in last night, if you fine folks could give me a couple days to get them in and get them processed, it would be much appreciated! If that's a problem please reach out and let me know!

If it's stretched by the factory on a mandrel it's okay but I don't really recommend stretching them yourself as it tends to throw off the concentricity when done by hand. Either way it shouldn't be a big deal though to be honest!
Either way both the coil and the housing are fairly poor conductors of heat on their own, the ruby beads are what allows the device to heat evenly.
See the original glass ball vape (Glass Symphony) was inspired by distillation condensers, whereas my ruby ball vape idea took that as inspiration, but is more-so based on scientific laboratory bead baths. In practice glass ball vapes never went very far, but ruby ball vapes have become the "industry standard" so I think the concept is working

Thank You @invertedisdead for the opportunity to have the purist vape path with the purist material! I snagged the last ZX available. Until the next batch release of course. I am ready for the experience and will keep you updated with a video demo soon and my first impressions, In which I already know from all of the positive feedback the experience will be awesomeness.
Is there a trick to getting a screen into the bowl you sell @invertedisdead?

It was easy getting one into a ground glass 14mm female joint of a pass-through adapter from vgoodiez, which btw works great as a ZX bowl. Gets the herb very close to the head, and I'm guessing that the same can be done with most or at least a good number of female 14mm joints...

The male end is 14mm but the top looks 19mm imo.

Don't think so man. I'm pretty sure the freight train is an 18mm injector, besides that screen is a long way away from the end of the cut down taper of the phase3 heads.

You just want to run it until you stop seeing any vapors from your skin oils. If you shine an LED light on it you'll be able to see exactly when it's done.
10-15 minutes at 600F+ should be more than sufficient. A higher temperature might burn them off quicker if you want and wouldn't hurt anything.

These 14MM F to 14MM M adapters are normally super easy to find, I've gotten a number of basic adapters off eBay; though for whatever reason I'm not seeing a ton of options this morning.
I've got more glass on order but it's probably a few weeks out. As I had mentioned previously, a lot more people bought my bowl on the second drop, so I went through them a lot quicker than I had anticipated based on the first drops sales.

Here is a 14mm male to 14mm female adapter with 10mm carb. Not to worried about the price as long as it works for the ZX. Oh baby, we landed. I'm local enough to Inverted that tracking seems to overshoot by a day..
It looks so good, I love the finish of the Zirconia, real sharp looking with a coil wrapped around it. Going to be re-calibrating my heat settings for a few days. My SX low flavor run was around 470-490, with 555 being the highest I'd go. Did my first hit just now on the ZX at 400.. actually got flavor, 420 showing some minor brown on the herb.. 455 and all the green is gone... wow, I'm impressed.. not even at 500f and I could easily call this bowl spent. I don't think I'll need to go above 500f to get a complete dark brown roast. Auber rdk 300B w/ DC coil.

I wouldn't recommend going with that carbureted adapter that you referenced on OGB's site if your intention is to use it as an injector. To me, it looks like the carb empties into the flower chamber directly, and not underneath. If you examine the 14M/14F injector at Gophase3.com you can see where the stem would ideally be located if it was a carb for an injector bowl, with the carb underneath the screen. The purpose of the carb underneath is to limit blowback so if you were to use OGB's adapter as an injector you could blow your bud out the carb and the top!
Now OGB can customize your build, just make sure you tell him what you are after (a 14F/14M injector bowl with a carb).
Anybody else getting really stoned from the ZX? It seems awfully strong

It's a nice fit. Not quite as snug as the one straight from GoPhase3 because the ZX kind of bottoms out at the first ridge. It doesn't seem to affect the performance though and it still rests if you like to let go of it. There is about 1/2" of clearance between the screen and the ZX, while with the GoPhase3 bowl there is about 3/4". Good price and nice having the carb.

Wouldn't the screen go at the bottom of the ground/frosted part ? I mean underneath it's widening how could the screen hold if it's widening ? Except if it goes in the bottom of the clear part ? I'm wondering this waiting for mine and my Chinese pair of adapters that have a similar shape without the carb. With that little bump to lift it you don't need a carb anyway.
Anybody tried the b2cvape PiD/coil ?
