Yeah, I think the main idea is that we all just keep pretending like we all use and sell these things for tobacco. 
On a serious note, if Ploom wanted to try to say they wouldn't honor the warranty because someone used the Pax for something other than tobacco, I'd have to ask them why their website has a "forum" that links to FuckCombustion.

Just clean it spic n span and you should be fine. When I had to return mine they did stress to send it back clean. They know what we use it for. Just get your Pax working again.

Paxing it up tonight... loving this thing even if it likes to act up once in a while... it's shown me a lot of love, and I have been able to discretely medicate in places I would have never been able to smoke.

The Inh would probably be a little better in terms of smell, but it is too large to palm very easily and it looks like a large metal dildo, not exactly the kind of thing that eludes notice. The major strength of the Pax is that it looks like some kind of mp3 device. Stuff like that is so common that hardly anyone would even give it a second look even if you were waving it around TRYING to get someone to notice it. A giant metal dildo? People tend to notice stuff like that. Not that I would know.
Now the Inh XP could be a game changer. We'll see.

a metal dildo??? i thought it looked more like a slightly bigger e-cig which i would think would look more normal bringing up to your mouth than sucking on an ipod. aside from toddlers.... how many people a day do you see sucking on their MP3 player???

Pax fits better in my pocket than the INH does. Also my INH switch turns on easy, so I'm less likely to pocket it over the Pax, though I do sometimes take both out together, so I have back up. I like the INH, but it's not getting nearly as much use as the Pax does in my reality.

I just received my replacement Pax from Vapeworld.
I mailed it out November 20th and 9 days later its back.
Pretty good turn around.
My iolites would usually take 2 weeks.

Looksmore like a vibrator than a dildo to me. Um not that I'm well versed in such details... My pax arrived in Cali today from NYC. Pretty fast. Hope to have a replacement by early next week. I miss it!

It looks like me and you are on pace for the same results, mine also arrived in Cali. I baked a batch of cookies yesterday and was wrecked. I got RAW papers for when I need a hit of something. Still missing Pax though. (Definitely need that back up vape for X-Mas)

The best back up vape for the Pax is a second Pax. No joke.

ATTENTION Pax users with heating issues! Useful info in the following post!
From a design aspect, I love Ploom using a mechanical mouthpiece switch and think the Pax is wonderfully designed, but the only improvement I would make on an improved version would be to have the mouthpiece not be the on/off switch. Move the switch out of the vapor path to a small switch somewhere on the exterior. For me, I would like to see it up near the oven lid area because I use the Pax as if it is an inhaler with the oven always up. Keeps the herb from falling away from the bottom of the oven. This design change would solve the mechanical contact and vapor residue issues.
As far as the mouthpiece issues and battery flashing condition with no heat because of resin on the mouthpiece tube and case contact area.
Here is a workaround that I found works every time when this happens. (and it will happen to everyone sooner or later)
I don't think there is anything wrong when this happens, just inevitable. If you send it in for replacement, your replacement will eventually do the same thing.
This method works 100% EVERY time.
Just push the mouthpiece in very slightly until the purple heating light goes back on and hold it there until it reaches green target temp. Only needs to move a fraction of an inch to re-establish contact and get it heating again. Usually, once it heats up to temp again it will stay heating when you stop holding the mouthpiece in. I find that I can also just put the Pax to my mouth and press it slightly against my lips to engage electrical contact again. Hold the Pax like an inhaler with the LED facing up so you can see it when you bring it to your face. It's very easy to see the Pax's LED and watch it turn from battery condition status to green target temperature when you press it to your lips and push the mouthpiece in slightly. So, lips or fingers, the Pax will always get you medicated, unless the battery is dead.
Dead battery = backup Pax = solved 
I actually don't even clean my Pax as often since I found this method of activating the heating element and I use it multiple times a day. I used to clean almost every day and now maybe twice a week. Love this thing!
What I liked is the tip about the mouthpiece. I've had my Pax refuse to start heating until I nudged the mouthpiece a little. This is a sign to use the riskiest Pax cleaning technique of them all, the ISO-dipped mouthpiece tube. I try to minimize the risk by holding the Pax upside down while I'm inserting the tube. So far, no stuck temperature control button and a properly working Pax every time!

Wow. Your crazy, but I like the idea of a black one sitting next to me purple. Oh my.
The best tip is just to blow into the MP for 3 seconds before use (from the metal side). I hate having to do something I dont want for a long period of time(hold the MP until its heated), that just makes me aware of the problem.

This may be a bit off topic but since we're talking discrete vaping in public, which I have done a lot of lately, I found that on several occasions I would have opted for a little whip tube coming out of a shirt pocket or something. That way I could take those long slow hits without awkwardly holding a device up to my face. I suppose you could even pass that off as a hydration pack or something if people even noticed.
If there were a little whip top piece for the Pax that would be nice. You could also do this with a Solo, which I have in fact done and it's great. This kind of setup is nice for being in a movie theater or a big crowd. Most people will not have a second thought about somebody intently sucking on a little tube.
