I F5'ed the link for about an hour and then it worked, placed an order for both the straight fab and the FC-186 to take advantage of the $15 coupon.

Edit 1:

Torus with slits in the perc rather than the big holes. (Video just showing perc function, not actual piece)

Edit 2: Now that we have a straight fab and a torus can we combine them to make something like this?!?!?!?!?

I was JUST about to post this link, thankfully I checked the thread. This piece looks very promising... I've also been looking to get the FC-186, please let me know how you like it when you receive it.

Now the real question is... Fab Egg or Fab Straight?

Just ordered up a straight fab tube, can't wait to get my hands on it :)

Can you still use a low profile 18-14 reducer? Or is it too deep to seal properly?

My low profile one is a little loose, but I am liking a splitter (cloudbuddyish) in there that lets me pull a plug to clear. The lowpro one won't work with the Lotus anyway due to the stir stick. It doesn't clear as easily as some pieces but I like it.
I'm sure I will try many configurations with this piece.

I've shared that Torus plus. He mentioned any hi res photos would be helpful for him to mock-up a design. Happy to share if you can point me in the right direction.


Steven is hard at working perfecting the Torus and sent me an update on the re-works he's been doing. Credit where due, I'm happy he isn't calling a wrap with the current design... And is actively trying to perfect it for low restriction bowl/enail/nails/bangers.

Local headshop got a mothership order after waiting 6-7 months. Like 8 real pieces plus a bunch of mini's and bowls and such. Allegedly people flying in from out of town to camp out all night waiting for them. Fab egg $2800, Ball rig /Klein / Torus $2300, aaaaaaaaaa

Tried Steven's Torus with the giant holes for percs, it tornados great with a flower bowl or no attachment.. But with an e-nail the suction just isn't enough to get enough water up into the torus it seems like. Looking forward to trying the straight fab :D Also curious if the torus with slits would work better with an e-nail but probably not curious enough to order a 2nd one hah.

The knockoffs have certainly made me more willing to drop the cash on a legit egg and pillar once I'm in a position to afford them :D
Before they seemed cool but just not worth it...

Steven is having some woes with the straight fab leading to some breakages by his production crew. He mentioned after 5/22 having to add additional cost on the straight fab to recoup the losses. Tldr if you're on the fence, act know before the price increases $10.00

I have purchased -
The kathy honeycomb egg.
The kathy "proper" egg - that came with a dodgey brace - eventually I got my order refunded and I repurchased it.
Ccg fab eg 12" - mine came with the pinhole version of the perc and I was very disappointed - ccg have said they'll send me a replacement with the slits perc so once I get that I'm pretty sure I'll be very happy with it.
Steven straight fab tube - haven't received it yet.

IIRC, Steven knocked up a prototype egg ages ago that had me drooling, but apparently his blowers can only knock out1 of them a day so it's not really worth it for him to produce...
I think I've seen fab eggs on Stevens store now but they could look similar to the other eggs available so I'm thinking he just bought a big lot from CCG or something?

Honestly, just swap out that ~6 pin hole perc for either ~20+ pinholes or ~10+ slits, and I'd buy it :)
Water level is way too high in that vid - but if it was a bit lower I'd think it would perform nicely.

Looks kinda like a fusion of the ball rig and the straight fab...
I quite like it, just that perc looks like crapola - just like that Ccg egg...

I really like that having the downstem penetrate the piece and come back in the bottom, I've got a mini rig that has that design that I really like :)
