Hey everyone pardon my absence, I'm almost all caught up. I picked up some amazing new glass and have been struggling to get anything accomplished.

I know that I have been a big part of this Chinese glass thing but I also like to support up and coming American artist and have found a real prodigy. His name is Richie Gage and I just made a thread for him

I feel as though it applies to this open source thread because you can come to him with your high in the sky idea and he can bring it to life. Obviously it is more expensive than china glass but it is still much more affordable than any of the big name blowers

Hey everyone, I was just getting caught up with Steven and figured I should post an update.

The UFOv2 is now available for sale with new improved higher joint connection and longer neck

Steven has his workers cranking out straight fabs at the moment and when they complete 100 they are going to work on some other things...

Ball rigs are coming

The drop down donut bubbler is going into production

There is talk of a smaller scale straight fab. Just under 8 inches tall, 50mm can, and 14mm female joint. It will have 2 layers of 3 fab holes. Current full size version is almost 12 inches tall and has 3 layers of 4 fab holes. Smaller version should hopefully be around $50 if things go as planned

We are getting a knockoff of a vapexhale devastator

Do you think he can make the neck mouthpiece on the ufo2 even slightly taller?Mainly for the sublimatior users out there as your face does get near the heater.

Thanks for the updates @blankrider. The UFO v2 looks like it has a larger can, is this correct? Going to order it regardless, but was just curious if it changed from the v1.

That Devastator looks promising.

Don't forget to show us that piece when you get it. I think I'm going to get something at some point, tho I may wait for Joda's return to customs. Or I may just pick something up...

The real one is 18MM, as the MP is meant to optionally work directly on the cloud. I suspect the copy will go the same way, but we don't know yet.

I was watching a vid of that Errlectric Herb nail, OMG i love that thing! I was wondering if something like that could be made to work for a modified M2M or the fatty adapter or gongs on say an LSV? if we could figure out how to rifle the air through a small section of glass to get the herb to spin in the chamber..:drool:.

Can we get some specs? (I know steven sometimes needs to keep the exact specs under wraps until releasing a new model to delay knock-off-knock-offs :lol:)

My :2c:
It looks quite good, but:
Are the downstems hot-swappable?
It looks to me like the base might be a little bit shorter than the a/c?
The base looks a little bit stubby to me. (Could just be the pic?)
Maybe if there was like 1-2 cm (1/2 - 1 inch) extra height added to both the a/c and base?
I'd like to see a reinforcement under the mouthpiece joint, and if there was any way to jam one on to the a/c I'd like to see that too...

But yeah, looking nice :)

The more I look at this, the more it looks like an improved UFO. I've never seen a removable perc like that. What size is the joint? Looks like it would make cleaning easier. Are there other successful designs like this? Why not make them all like this (where practical in the design)?

I got a really great guy I recently found on instagram under the name @aleycatglass and I'm trying to get him to join us here at FC.

Go check him out and send him a message. He has fantastic communication and gets projects done in a timely fashion

Yeah, I'm a bit concerned about the pinch on that vortex as well. I take long slow rips and don't want to have water up the mouthpiece or whatever other problems that may cause.

Do you mean a female d-cycler like this?

This one has a nonfunctioning chamber on the side with a wigwag on it. It's a silly addition, but when the seller agreed to make a custom female version I couldn't resist. Honestly the wigwag looks pretty cool, I just wish it was integrated into the design better. Anyway, the seller I got it from also offers plain d-cyclers now, I believe, and would probably be very willing to do another custom female d-cycler. The seller is ephan glasswork and he's very willing to try to work with you on custom orders.

I really want to see Steven or CCG take a stab at this rig:
