Doing it yourself will cost less than $1 each rebuild with $16 worth of supplies. You could get more rebuilds out of that much supplies.

@lucky778 asked who rebuilt carts on here. I had @Sleepeninca rebuild carts for me in the past, I just wanted to let @lucky778 know the price of @sleepininca rebuilds were $17 plus shipping. Its cheaper to buy a new cart than have him rebuild your old cart.
@DieHard, I agree, if you know how to rebuild them yourself its waaaaaaayyyy cheaper to do yourself as you stated.

G has the whole KISS cart G2 Ti for $1 more ore other KISS carts for $16. Why not get a brand new cart for the same price from W9. Or even better, the Kiss complete globes and carts for $16!

Have an Omicron 2.5 with a 2.4 Ohm cartridge. I noticed some extract has been leaking out of the 2 air intake holes on the side of the omicron body. I did have it in a hot car and while I tried to keep it upright most of the time, it wasn’t upright all the time. I haven’t been able to get a lot of vapor from it recently. I cleaned the extract off the threads and lower area of the cartridge, but still not working. The cartridge still gets hot just no vapor. The cartridge weighed 7.6 grams when empty, now it’s at 7.9. Does this mean the cartridge is damaged?

I see no holes on an Omicron.
The oil does not go near the unit... it goes in a cartridge.

Yes, I know the oil goes in the cartridge, but somehow came out of the bottom of the cartridge into the space where the cartridge screws onto the base and then out the tiny holes on either side of the top of the base.

Been awhile since I posted in here and just wanted to say my KISS TI turned another one of my oil vapes into a very expensive paper weight. I finally need a new one and I see something new is coming in the future, going to order another and a globe as well.

Is there a TI globe version?

I've got 2 Kiss carts that need to be rebuilt, and I'm wondering if I should wait and get the w9 kit, or just source it from somewhere else and have it quicker?

I assume the KISS Rebuilds won't have TI 2 wiring since I remember G mentioning how difficult it is to work with. If that's the case then I can't see why the KISS Rebuild kits would include anything extra that is hard to source on your own.

I have an omicron lite and I know the core can power it, but is there any benefit to using it? People seem to think so for the regular omicron and persei, but those are totally different rigs.

Ideally I would love to put a herc on it, I have a feeling that's a bit ambitious though. I'm trying desperately not to buy a core + persei + herc + nibbler, even with the coupon it's a ton of cash that I don't have right now. Though I'm looking at the kiss globe and the nibbler g right now.

Just wanted to add I love it so far, I can feel myself getting sucked into this stuff.....

@StormyPinkness My understanding of how the core works with an Omicron Lite is that it's just like plugging it into any USB outlet... So I doubt it'll be able to Herc it up
I'd love to be corrected if I'm wrong though.

I've got 3 KISS carts and 1 KISS globe (with 2 heaters) ATM, and I've got 2 KISS carts to rebuild.
I read through the KISS rebuild guide posted by @DieHard, and it seems like a simple enough process, but he mentioned that the taste isn't as good as an original KISS cart.

I was wondering if that's just because it's a rebuild, and even the W9 rebuild kits will have worse taste, or if there's something special about the w9 Wick/coil that's special?

If not, would there be any advantage to going with a different coil design?
I've got zero experience with ecig tech, which seems to have a fair bit of crossover with our desired purpose, so I'm not sure if some of the stuff I've seen online would be applicable here...
Like I've seen something very similar to a KISS cart, but with a circular (donut style) wick, and another one with 2 wicks instead of the 1.

Would it be worth it to try something like that, or just go with replicating the stock KISS wick/coil setup?

I very much appreciate the links, but I think I'll look around for a more local supplier to see if I can knock the price down a bit. It would cost me about $30 to get the items from those 3 pages, and while I get that it would probably allow me to rebuild something like 10 carts, I really only need to rebuild 2, and I can get 2 new carts for close to that...

And a completely different thought I had the other day:
Is there any reason I shouldn't use my Minicron as a batt for other purposes?
I recently picked up a couple of laser pointers, and it made me wonder if a laser pointer module could be made to screw into the 601 threading? (that's the omicron one right? And 510 is the more generic ecig threading?)
My laser pointer runs off 2 AAA batteries, which should be like 3V, is the Minicron too high a Voltage for that? or is there something about the batt chemistry thats different? Or would a laser module just not be a smart idea for the longevity of the batt? Don't really know much about that side of electronics...

But yeah, I kinda want to build myself a Laser "Cart" for the minicron if it's not a stupid idea
And maybe an LED torch type cart.
They may not end up being the most practical things, but I think they'd be cool, and could help with the stealth aspect since being a non-smoker, calling it an ecig kinda raises more questions than it answers for me

The taste issue was mainly because I did not burn the wick and wire before using. Now, I Burn the wire with a lighter and torch the wick red hot first, before rebuild. The taste is great. Maybe not quite as good as Ti wire but that's a close call. The NiChrome 80 wire tastes good, no iron. 7.4v rebuilds are my daily drivers.

Hey guys quick question about bho that isnt fully purged (if thats the right term) and leaves behind plant matter/residue. Ran into my first bad batch. Will that damage my kiss cartridge? Is it safe to continue smoking it with the omicron lite? If not what is the best way to smoke this type of bho without a dab? Any other vapes that would be able to handle it? Thanks in advance!

So I am behind the curve in many ways.. I only got acquainted with the 7.4V KISS cart recently and have to say I love it, but as much as I like the Persei shorty the full size doesn't always fit my needs. Well, I gotta say, after parting with most of my Omicron collection, I really like this setup:

It fixes any quirks the Omi had in any mode, the lame bottom spring of the original hvd kit is gone forever, and the best battery for the Omi and 2x of the 250s fit in the same tube with nothing to swap and no parts to interchange.... It has 5 click on/off which is nice as long as I remember to unscrew the cart before turning off, cause those taps will kill the oil in the cart....

To me this setup is the best "pen vape" that exists and the easiest "manual" variable voltage oil vape that I have used. The Persei is awesome don't get me wrong, but you have to adjust the tube when switching batteries, and for that reason alone I have multiple units... With this particular config on the Omi, everything works beautifully, no hassle. It's a shame the HVD top is no more..

If its plant matter left behind there's something else wrong with the concentrate besides unpurged butane. Butane =/= plant matter. My guess is that it won't damage the cart but it sure will make it unable to vape quickly because it'll get buildup super fast. You could certainly vape it in a Hercules cartridge but you need a Persei to power it. And you'll still have to clean up the Hercules as the plant matter will be left behind, but you probably won't need to do it nearly as often before losing vapor production.

Just guessing here as I don't have much experience with concentrates that leave behind much residue.

rebuild my kiss cart with posted tutorial, super easy to do. Now that im rebuilding my carts how do i build a cart that the 7.4v wont destroy, also my carts are 3 ohm after rebuild(7.4v breaks wire within seconds and 3.7v the wire doesn't get hot, very little vapor(no glowing coils))

You can't hold the button for seconds on 7.4 you need to tap the button for perhaps half a second at a time. This gives the oil a chance to get close to the wire again works better for me then trying to just hold it down.

I think the wire was overlapping that caused it the break, it broke in the 2nd button press. I rebuilt it again and its running like a champ. any source of gr2 titanium wire. I can only find grade 1

Omicron 2.0 with a titanium kiss cartridge, yes I have fully charged the batteries before use, but like I said they were sitting for about a year and I cant say if they were fully charged(most likely they were).

Hey @Skeena the v2.0 was never really made for the Ti Kiss carts, the V2.5 or the Ophos and Omicron lite are bare minimum to run the Ti version of the Kiss cartridge.
