Just signed up and wanted to thank everybody in this thread, as well as Gary at D9V, for sorting through some beginner issues ive been having with my new omicron v2. To any haters, if you are willing to be patient, which I know can sometimes be hard, these guys will definitely take care of you and in the end you will be rewarded with (what I believe) to be a superior product compared to market.

Sadly I had to ship back my Omicron today so I wont be enjoying it over Christmas, but I'm confident they will take care of me when they get back to the office. For the bit I've gotten to enjoy my V2, I've loved it :)

big fan of D9 products and the customer service. I am lucky enough to manage a shop who sells these haha:rockon: . I have yet to see a disappointed customer, sure some need a little walk through.. so i direct them to this site/vaporpedia or just come back by the store. I actually have an O-PHOS which allow customers to use while the warranty is processed

I've had four solid days of use on my first cartridge and am really enjoying it. Still think there is a bit of a funky taste but whatever....this thing is great. I just strolled down my office hallway and took a few puffs.

Question for ya'll...I'm traveling tonight and want to pack my v2 and this loaded cartridge. Can I put the cartridge in the case with BHO in it? Its thick and not runny at all. My cartridge didnt come with that white cap that is is mentioned often(here and in the manual)..

Seems like it would be ok...thoughts?

You can store your carts anywhere really. Just make sure to keep it upright most of the time and keep the threads clean. These carts can take way more of a beating then most people think. I'm still hitting the first Cart I ever filled. Probably ran about 3 grams through it. But I find I only need to top up every week and a half to two weeks.

i have had no problem traveling with mine. New mouth piece, no filling tool/ if you decide to take it, i suggest cleaning it thoroughly. I also usually make sure to have the top of the cart clean(clean from top view unlike a used cart which can tend to get a little oil puddled. atleast with me)

eln,

Slipping your cart into a 'doob tube' provides that little extra 'piece of mind'. I've travelled with carts successfully (without any leakage) even under 'changing atmospheric conditions'. Safe and happy travel!

Great Video Vito - If possible can you give us your thoughts on the 3.7v vs the more established portable vapes? Is it more of a stopgap add on for the oil pen or a viable herbal vape as a standalone? Any tips on tecnique?

Herc seems to like it dry and well ground.
It at first seemed like an addon to an oil pen, but... That is because of the number of vapes I use daily.
There is a learning curve, no doubt, and I found that I like using the Herc best if I am planning to take the time to do an entire session. Let it medicate... do it's job.
A session with the Herc is best if enjoyed slowly.
Technique is not at all unlike the way MFLB users handle their trench... but without the inconvenience of "leveling the trench" after each shake......
... a shake...
well you asked about technique
On the above video right at 1:00 is "the shake" that works well.
power on... hold it.. (4-6 seconds) then start to gently take micro sips.... until there is a taste, then draw......
hold, it and release the button (VERY BRIEFLY) and shake, while restarting the "ignition" and ... draw.. etc.
Along with fine, dry grind and along with the shake I will make note-
The button gets depressed for much longer than the release.
The release of the button, and it's concomitant "cooling" happens MUCH faster than the heat cycle....so as you toggle, I would lean toward more "on" than "off".

Are you using a 14650 or 14500 and how is battery usage?

Yes, sure. They're most likely 510 thread so you'll need an adapter to convert from the female m601 threads in your Omicron to 510 threads (female again) to mate. Delta 9, TV and no doubt a bunch of others make these. I' using a bunch of the ones "OneLove" used to sell for $2 to go with their overpriced and under performing carts.

By all means give it a go, but also try 'rolling your own'. IMO you get much better concentrate and more control. It's really pretty easy.

I was wondering what you meant by "rolling your own"... i am pretty new to the omicron, any tips and tricks suggestions would be appreciated... Like is there ways to get big hits fast from it... or is its nature to give small airy conservative hits... i have gotten bit hits but it seems to take like 5 mins of use before it gets there.. i got mine second hand so no instructions or anything, seems pretty straight forward though... never thought to warm the cart seems like a good idea... anything else i should know though?

I suggest you go read the information in the .pdf files on the Delta 9 site. Included there are instructions for loading carts and using the vape itself.

I also think reading the Vaporpedia page on the device (linked at the top left of this page) is a worth while effort.

i was more interested in tricks you have picked up during your use or observations you have come to make about it... ill give those a read though... as is it works for me, i'm able to fill/use it... just wondered about your opinions about using it better rather than the factory instructions and such... thanks though

EDIT: ya warming the cart helped me a lot... i mixed a cart w/ wax and oil and i had a lot trapped up at the top.. its preforming awesome and consistent now... doesn't take me a long time to get a decent rip every time now...

Has anyone used the stainless steel tank kit D9 sells for e juice? I am curious about how long the expected life is of the 1.5 ohm carts for it, as in 20ml, 40ml, etc of juice?
I know it will probably vary, just looking for an estimate.

I asked D9 through a ticket and they had no idea by the way.

My results are pretty much the same. Looks like you got it down a little better than me though

Just checked the delta website and noticed that the 3.7 Hercules was available to be purchased. I was wondering if there is gonna be a 50% off for the first week or so like you guys have done with all the previous newly released products.

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding the build of the omicron/o-phos cartridges. I have an o-phos and recently i bought a new D9 1.5 cart for my vape and I pre-oxidized it and everything, when i went to load it still tasted like chemicals. I was kind of worried about that and so I did some research. I found a video from the thermovape guys and they actually took apart a d9 cart (i can find it if anyone is interested) but it had fiberglass inside and wiring through the airpath. I am concerned about the health issues and was wondering if anyone can shed some light about this. I mean somtimes it actually hurts my lungs after i smoke my o-phos.

Really hoping for help! First time at the forum so apologies if I'm violating any rules. I am on my 3rd O-Phos bc every one I get has the same problem or I am misunderstanding something about how to get it to work. I get it home, I charge it, and when I test my cartridge it dies not get the glowing light & heat. Nothing. I've watched videos so I know what it should look like. Has anyone had this happen? This is my third time with this so it must be something I'm doing wrong. Appreciate your knowledge and help!
