Not all of us have had good experiences with Delta 9 and their products. Here has been my experience:
Today I just resent back a bunch of defective products to Delta9 including defective 5.0 carts and the HVD unit. I had emailed them expressing the same concerns most of you have in here and their response was basically "thanks for the constructive criticism" - period. Firstly, WHAT?!
With the HVD unit I consider this a major flaw, NOT criticism in that:
I do the multi-click lock, the unit has a defect where is it is so much as shaken a little it resets the lock, then if the button clicks it stays on forever as your oil burns and leaks. Regardless if my opinion on a stay-on light with a defective lock is "constructive criticism," i do know ive lost a bunch of concentrate due to some faulty carts and this defective HVD unit. As for the cart issue, see below - and this is using the clearest amber oil i have ever seen, totally full melt.
I have had all these problems and more with my HVD unit including the following:
This is a poorly designed switch that always stays on when pressed.
The slightest shake resets the lock on unit.
One of my batteries has a concave end, as if bent.
My batteries won't keep a charge as they should.
One 5.0 cart - the whole bottom fell out, wire and all. Consistent clog before that.
One 5.0 cart - as soon as oil was put in started leaking out of the bottom. Consistent clog before that.
Even though the best I could get w support was "thanks for the criticism" I took the initiative to send the whole lot of carts and HVD unit back, requesting products up to at least the following standard:
The new HVD top that doesn't reset when shaken and has a hold-down switch.
New HVD tube that has correct screw alignment with logo on the original long tube
Batteries that aren't damaged and work.
New replacement 5.0 carts since 2/5 were damaged (other 3 being sent back)
As you can image I am VERY disappointed. Its in their court now as to what they do with all this time, money (on the unit and shipping back), and lost concentrate.
