sorry, I just got caught up reading the thread, yes, my #3108 is on the list but doesn't have anything written next to it (I have the black), and no, I won't open a ticket!! Thanks Y'all!!
First off I must say I know pretty much nothing when it comes to these batteries so forgive me if this is a stupid question. The question is, When I got my HVD kit one of the blue small batteries has a small bump on the side so is it still safe to use it? The other battery looks perfect, while the battery with the bump still fits in the omicron tube I have yet to use it out of fear of something happening. Its not by any means a huge bump but it is noticeable. I tried to take some pictures so here they are( the bump is above the "3" in the writing 300mAh)
i think there is only a number if more than one is needed. i am the one getting 4.sorry, I just got caught up reading the thread, yes, my #3108 is on the list but doesn't have anything written next to it (I have the black), and no, I won't open a ticket!! Thanks Y'all!!
OOPS there is more for me to catch up on reading, my questions may have already been answered... back to reading...
guys we will check how many each person ordered, and the people who will get more then one cap ordered more then one hvd, so when we process the orders tomorrow we will check. No funny business.
I am sorry that everyone feels this way.
I will stop posting about upcoming products...
that's why i never show my entire face, hahaha.... seriously tho, my v2, my friends v2, my other friends hvd for a mini unit and a chrome one (the bane of my existence on this one) for a splash of color and two unreg. tops at once. i did pay full price for one of those so i'm not completely taking advantage of G.Good call. I don't trust Bob either. Four? Yeah, right.....
Look at him, he even looks shifty to me....

Is that how a "profit hound" behaves?
I have read all the posts on this board and the Persei (even though I don't own one) and the 8 and Universe. And time and time again I have seen Gary fix a problem for a customer. Even when he tried not to, he still ended up helping people when he could (who remembers the one time special med-student discount?). There is no doubt in my mind that he is a product designer who wants people to love his stuff, and his "flawed" products are helping hundreds (thousands?) of people with medical conditions feel better every day (for some just get through the day at all). Are they perfect? No. Can anyone expect that? No.
I love that Gary shares his excitement and passion about vaporizing with us, and I really hope you keep doing that."
Now then Gary, you said you would have 14250's up for sale soon, well, where are they!
And please keep sharing!!
doesn't change anything to the fact that we all are (well) paying beta-testers and that customers who do not read the 300 pages of this thread aren't able to use all the D9 cartridges properly without damaging them (and their content)
There are no complete instructions anywhere...
Why aren't the instructions updated on vaporpedia?
Why does D9 not give informations or warnings to be able to make a proper use of his products?
And as we can see here again, products are sold and sent out without being tested. Simple e-cig/torch battery mod's that would just need a few minutes testing.
Now you can say "don't pre-order if you can't handle hiccups" ... sure ... but I think you forget that by pre-ordering you are helping him in his business. He's not helping you!
He orders his (your) batteries from china, but doesn't take the time to test them whem they arrive. He doesn't even know how they work.
And we should not forget that we are speaking about simple batteries. He didn't invent anything. His only discovery was the use of the old 601 e-cig thread for his products!

I think that you have a point about the lack of any real documentation with this upgrade.
I again think that we should try to use these problems as a way to educate and try to make things go better next time. Would it be worth it to read the Persei manual to get more info on 7.4v setup. Hey G, do you have a documentation specialist on the payroll there. I'm sure if not there is someone out there that wants to do that job
I had a couple of questions about 7.4v setup.
1. If you use one of your small blue batteries in the mini tube for a while, so it is no longer fully charged. Is it then ok to put it in the long tube with a fully charged battery, or is this a bad idea. I guess the question is, should they both be fully charged before installing 2 batteries for 7.4v?
2. It is my understanding from reading the Persei thread that you can not look for the heater light or oxidize carts when using 7.4v with 5 ohms cartridges. (can easily burn out the cart) I believe that it was said that you can use the 5 ohm cart on a 3.7v setup and just see if the cart gets warm to make sure it is working. Is this correct?
I also think the D9 website while functionally it works, it does not really market or teach you about the products so you know which ones you want. That is one of the reasons that I started reading the Omicron and Persei threads here on FC. And I do like that G teases us with new products and videos. I would rather not beta test with out knowing but I understand when things are not 100% right. And I try to be patient and understanding when someone offers to remedy the issue.
Thanks G
So the only problem is me not stating it was a click on click off device?
