hi friends!!~ so here is my story if you are kind enough to read thru it:
Backstory:
i vape nicotine since quitting ciggies.
smoked cannabis for 15 yrs (since i was 15). the very first time it was 1g to myself and i tripped balls lol. very conservative from then on. never been heavy user. now years later i begin using for medical reasons. within a week, my tolerance rises fast and high - as a fairly hefty amount is required for my needs - and i am getting a bit of recreational fun out of it as well
well i picked up a Mobius matrix sidecar water pipe. bong loads for several weeks. about 4 bowls during the day and 8 bowls thru the night. needless to say my lungs were not happy. it felt like i had started smoking cigarettes again.
First Vape:
so i research for 2 weeks obsessively, on reddit. (unfortunately i found this fantastic forum later). getting familiar w US vendors and vapes. $90 budget. about to pick up a Dynavap when, my budget jumps to $350. yay!! so i figure ill grab a *holy grail sound* Mighty!! *trumpets* *choir* (based on my research at the time that is what the Mighty sounded like in my head!)
well the Mighty is a great solid device. ol' reliable I'm sure. but its no fun.
i use with a WPA into the Mobius. Temp step from 170 to 190 or sometimes 205. it takes me 10+ hits for one bowl. ~3 bowls to "get there." By the end I'm hurting a little bit. I have also tried sandwiching concentrate between flower and it lasts 20+ hits.
Returning the Mighty:
well i asked for some advice on Reddit. semi-helpful comment: "clouds dont come right away it requires a bit of technique + practice." but i think i have a good grasp on the Mighty - due to prior research + instant and thorough experimentation upon its arrival. but i *am* new to vaping cannabis.
one helpful person told me "you wont get flavor with other vapes. if u want bigger clouds u have to combust. the only possible upgrade is the Volcano. maybe vaping isn't for you after all."
finally, the people told me I can't return a used vape. they are upvoted. while I reply that the vendor PoTV lets you do just that, and Ive been in contact with a rep from the start...I am downvoted. good stuff.
Summary:
so i am humbly coming to this forum hoping i can get some in-depth, thoughtful responses to my stoopid vape noob questions!! my own research has put Sticky Brick OG and E-Nano into my head.
on Reddit, the tetra p80 got recommended to me. i would prefer not to faff with any vapes that are hard to order or lacking in custy support.
portability is not my biggest concern. i'm rarely out of the house for too long. it would always be a bonus tho
saving weed is still a concern. idk if its possible due to my tolerance. but *hoping* an on demand that will let me clear in 2-3 hits rather than 8-10 like the Mighty. will be closer to combustion for me.
if you have read all that please catch this virtual hug i'm sendin to ya xoxo. mwah
TLDR: Returning Mighty. Needs are stated above. Considering E-nano, Sticky Brick OG.
