Haven't heard much on this lately so hopefully it's not going to happen but it seems that they are trying to re-criminalize legacy weed (not just selling it, even possession of it...) in NJ:

Pretty disappointing but, of course, not really surprising. I don't know much about Scutari except that I've never heard anyone say anything good about him or his political career, they also say he's the reason that we don't have legal homegrow in NJ.

While purchasing from unlicensed sellers is a disorderly persons offense, enforcement will likely focus on the sellers, making "sting" operations the primary method for proving the offense.

So it would seem that the problems with trying to re-criminalize cannabis would have unintended consequences for those trying to oppose cannabis.

I have only gone to NJ only a few times and been to their dispensaries. I am surprised to learn that they still do not have the provisions for Patients to grow their own medicine. Crazy
