Respect Accept: I've been vaping over sixty years one way or another. However i'm new to sub ohm. osub 80 smok is my first. i use pre built coils so far. Using a v8 Baby x4 Quadruiple coil, in a baby beast tank. Small batch QWET 2-3 g. made outdoors in sub freezing weather and purged on a heating pad is really quite a remarkable medicine. It is shatter. Elmusified as described before So strong the more i dilute it the better. Dabing is a waste to me. Being able to take a long deep lung throat puff is good enough for my needs. I though i might try a Divine Tribe build? Right now I'm okay and still willing to learn. Thanks for sharing your advice/ideas. May the vape be with you.

What resistance have your coils?

Been doing QWET with excellent results. Frozen Grey Wolfe method. I mix two,/three,/or four parts Vapeur Extract , with .5 Holy Terp to one part concentrate. First rinse mixes to a golden transparent e-juice. Quite effective medicine. The Gold first rinse I vape in both a Aspire K1 and a Kangertech Mini (sub?)tank II. Both on twist sticks at 3.2. Both better than any dispensary product i've consumed. Smooth and silky really fantastic. Second rinse mixed same ratios prepares an amber transparent e-juice. I use a Smok osub 80 for the second amber rinse e-juice. This too is also better than any cannabis medicine product i've consumed. Second rinse amber in the Smok with the Baby beast is my rescue unit. When I need relief fast I use the Smok at seven to eight watts works everytime. Allows me to wait for the pharmacutical to kick in without needing a hospital visit. So anyway the products and procedure has provided me with a CONSISTENT(ly) medicine Perhaps you should give it a try if you haven't already. B well and Good Luck.

What resistance have your coils?

I'm not really sure about the restance is "gigimarga123". The digital readout display is.43 ohms (resistance?), 1.93V, 7.8w. I saw a chart with some suggested vape settings that suggest the voltage should be adjusted slighty higher than 7.8w for the .43 ohms. I just leave it on the "normal" setting that is on the SMOK osub 80. At my settings the vapor is thick and full bodied. The quadruple coil is a SMOK replacement, not like the dual coil that came with the osub 80 i purchased. Other than that its learn as you play for me. I have no othe experience with a sub unit. Prior to the sub80 had twist units and still do. I use the twist battery often they're my "daily drivers". I also find dry flower a personal and effective favorite medicine (PAX & hands free box vape for that).The sub is for a quick relieving/disabling puff. Only when my body going into severe spasam/seizure. That amost always puts out the fire. i puff the twist stick over 100 up to 200 times daily 5 to 10 second deep puffs. That keeps me comfortable throughout the day usually. Does'nt take the pain away like the pharmacuticals. However don't need to use the dilaudid or oxycodone my pain doctor prescribed as often. In fact the "full plant" medicine has allowed me to reduce prescription pain meds in almost half when the "full plant" medicine is available.

Vaping a long time ago wasn't differnt from some of the more primitive ways still used today. Of course there was the foil way and trying to capture the oil fume throught a tube or paper cone. Or on a knife a chunk of hashish heated would work sometimes depending on the product. If i was lucky someone would offer a piece of what i thought was lab equipment that looked a lot like the meth pipes i see on tv police shows today. Long glass stem with a glass bowl and an opening on top to load oil. It was oil and hash I would try to vape. Mostly oil. Seeing vaping evolve from my early days to just fifteen years ago when i first saw a volcano.Wow. I got my own first store bought vape around twelve years ago. It was a hands free box type with a wand. Then a PAX (i really like flower medicine), and onto twist sticks two years ago, a sub this year. That was my vaping evolution. I remember going under the stairs in highschool by the gym listening to Elvis on my transistor when my "beat" friend came over with a folded piece of foil and said try this. The King never sounded so good. I cant wait to see what will come next.
The heating pad is on high when evap with a fan too. when dried i bring the pyrex to a much cooler room and scrape off the purged material it snaps off the bottom of the plate. Shatter, full melt i don't know. All i do know it's primo for sure and leaves no after residue if dabbed pure. Full flavor as a dab. The mix i use (previous post) tastes like c02 juice i've puchased at dispensary. Only more effective medically and cost wise. B well and may the vape be with you.

Cannabis folklore! Suspect Elvis would have been up for whatever was on that foil. Never tried these methods, except PAX and e-juice.

First vape was DIY BC-style flower vape, 20+ years ago. Never got high with it. Remember tasting the terpenes for the first time. Later, DIY hot-glass style flower vapes were more effective. Now, use Herbalizer for flowers, but mostly concentrates and e-juice lately. Like the consistent flavor.

Use very low temps (~125F) with silicone heat mat under Pyrex. Going for almost too-pungent flavor. Also, use Graywolf "evaporation chamber".

Use ratio 1:4 RSO to EjMix , the liquid is very brown , almost black and have a solid residuate heavy green that goes down, but anyway it's not an issue , it does like a filter , it's great. The coil I use is the ceramic one at 50 W, and at first leaked a little bit , now I learned how to use it . With 1 gr of RSO I can have hundreds of hits and , at my rhytm , I can do maybe three weeks to one month. No problems with the batteries , which lasts me about two weeks (two batteries). Take note that when I come home , I prefer to vape some flowers with the fucking pen , the Grasshopper , which has a better taste and takes less work (doing concentrates , mix them ecc). Anyway this kind of mods are the best when you're on the go. It's an e-cig mod , lot of people has it , noone has anything to say. It's immediate , no smell , very potent , and you can choose how much , can also try 1:3 ratio and see whats the best for you.
Shade , in the place where I live is forbidden and so I couldn't receive Vapour Extract (they blocked at the custom!) , and EJmix is not so cheap. Don't know where to get the right PEG400 , can someone European help me ? And the D lemonene , where did the discussion end ? It would be very intersting to try with this healthy terpene , but where does they sell the right one ? Thanks a lot , hope some day the neandhertalian I live with will evolve...

Question for anyone that can help. So for about a year now I have been on a mission to make vape juice out of clear distillate and Bho / shatters. So far I found that using bho won't work bc there is still plant matter and fats in the oil that will separate and cause a bad cart. I was first using PG PEG and then MCT with terps or flavor... every time it would last for a few days then the fats and plant matter would separate and start tasting worse then it already did. I mean the flavor was not bad but not like the carts from "the clear" or "710kingpen" so I found some raw distillate and thought this would solve my issues with separation and now I would just have to work on getting the flavor right. Well now I get a really clear product with never separation but it taste not so good . I'm assuming maybe the clear base I'm using is not the best? or maybe I'm doing something wrong? I have some of the best terpenes out there but I still taste that odd taste from the raw clear. Is this normal ? or is my clear garbage?..does anyone have any info on making vape pens with raw clear and terps? or is there a way to take my bho and take the plant matter and the fats out and then use that instead of the raw that taste like shit? any help would be great.. thanks

Ive found a 50/50 mix of HT couchlock, and Philosopher tastes amazing. Vapour Extract makes a clear kit for bho, but IMO its to much extra work and you get more loss.

How cost effective is it to use this method for vaping concentrates?

My initial investment to get another tank, EJ Mix and a Gram will be about $100 so I want to make sure it's a good solution.

I use a G-Slim Pen for Shatter that seems to work really well but it can't last more than a couple good uses. I had to replace the coil and perfect the technique of only using enough at a time and making sure it's all vaped before I add more as to not gunk up the coil.

I'd like to have something that will last longer without having to load again, gets you medicated in only 2-3 good pulls and doesn't need to be recharged so often. To me the answer is making the Canna-Ejuice and using my KangerTech TopBox nano I already have.

My second question besides cost effectiveness is vapor production.

Will my kanger give me as much vapor with the Cannabis Juice as It does with my E-Juice? That's what I'm after.

I know the mix might have a bit to do with it but I'm curious if you all get nice thick clouds with the Cannabis juice too.

Hey all. So here is yet another experiment and so far a successful one! Still in beta.

As a side note: about every 3rd review on these coils is a bad one saying that they can't get these coils to prime properly. I also found a comment that helped me with that issue. You need to slowly build up your watts/temp as your priming the coil. The heat allows the ceramic and juice to heat up and aid with wicking. So I did that, put the tank on, filled it up (with only half my juice, just incase) and let it sit for a few as I continued to slowly pulse the coil to ensure good saturation.

So far its way better than my other tank, and there is no sign of color change in the tank. When you look at these coils, you can't see any cotton (however I think there is a thin layer on the outside of the ceramic coil)and I think this will help with this issue. Also, TC is the shit, and so much more consistent! It's a must. Been in the range of 420° -450° and I also been messing around with the TCR setting. The Pico I believe is set for ss316, and these coils (along with almost all ss coils and wire available) are ss316L. Not a big difference, but can notice a difference when I change the value. I'm at 150TCR value. Supposedly these coils last a long time, I'll keep you posted as I refill. I'm about to add the rest of my batch (~1ml), but will probably dilute it a little bit with my banana WL. This batch is getting me blown after like 2 rips. Sometimes I want to be able to puff on it a few more times, plus it will last me a little longer.

I wanted to share this in hopes you too have a tank that takes these coils, that way you can try this out too.

My next experiment is trying using the ss notch coils with ekowool hollow wick in my RTA......one day soon.

i have access to cannabis ejuice of similar viscosity to regular ejuice and am trying to figure out what tank makes sense and want single coil RBA/RTA since it dirties up so quick. i see people are liking baby beast and there is an RBA for it but building dual coil seems over the top for me. any chance anyone using the q2 heads also has tried to make the rba work?

serpent mini, ammit, and merlin mini all look good with low juice holes. i guess from some of your experiments though that might not wick readily enough if this juice is even a bit too thick?

I use a Merlin mini rta and a stainless steel Clapton coil that ohms out at 0.5 and I run at 30 Watts. I have to change the cotton every fill up and dry fire the coil but it works better than anything else I've tried.

Been lurking for awhile, and to draw back on the original post I personally have been using 510 batteries and these ccell disposable atomizers. Where I live shatter or snap n pull is what we generally get. And with this atomizer I could warm up a ratio as thin as 3:1 peg/pg to concentrate all the way as high as 6:1 concentrate to pg/peg and consistently get baked no clogs no bad taste ...nothing my personal problem I trying to go stealth smell and taste wise. I have tried wax liquidizer and cc solution farm to vape terpenes holy terp fogg flavor so on ...I have the means to vape the concentrate now i want it to taste good.

None...distillate already has a nice, fluid, flow-ey, low viscosity that is well suited for tanks. (It should at least, if its proper distillate.) Adding terps is just for flavor on distillate.

Now smok baby beast rta... dont have much good to say about that. Since youre conditioned for great, smooth taste with your dt v3s, prepare yourself for crispy, burned cotton taste, inconsistent hits and oil leaking out the bottom of your tank's air intake. (id advise against)

Interesting, I thought distillate would be too thick compared to something like ejuice. Raw distillate is pretty thick. Tried a few ones around here.

Burned cotton doesn't sound very exciting though, although the leaking part isn't too far off from my V3.
Bummer. Oh well, at least I didn't pay anything for it.

I'm looking to convert about 4g of bud/flower to oil then make ejuice out of it but can't seem to find a recipe/process I like. Can someone point out a good link please? Something like qwiso extraction then pg mix.

Also, do these oil filled carts dry out at all? 4g of bud would last me like 3-4 months vaping.

Hey all. So here is yet another experiment and so far a successful one! Still in beta.

Recently I randomly watched a video on YouTube by "IndoorTokers" and the "Dab Spot", and they were talking about a new disposable oil cartridge made with a subohm ccell ceramic coil. They also mentioned that this company also makes coils for regular vapeing (non weed). This got me researching....
I came across these ceramic Ccell coils (these are not new and some of you may of heard of them).....Aaaannnddd the coolest part is that these coils fit me Melo 3 tank that came with my iStck Pico kit! They also fit a bunch of other tanks too (like 20+ tanks. Scroll down in this thread for a list http://vapingunderground.com/thread...nks-can-use-the-vaporesso-ccell-coils.193653/ )
These coils have both bad and really good reviews, however I decided to get a pack and try them. I knew that I wanted to start using TC so i decided to go with the .6 ohm SS ccell coils.





(Nevermind the pink setup. I got the same Pico kit for my sister in laws bday and been testing it out in her rig before giving it to her)

Needless to say, I made another batch of juice. I had 1ml left over from my gorilla glue batch (that I felt needed to be better mixed) and .5 grams of OG wax, so I mixed the .5 OG with 1ml of regular WL and my left over Gorilla batch. Ended up with almost 3ml total.

Yes, similar in smell, but no additional flavor/scent. Some store bought have fruity overtones.

It lasts me quite a while, as I also enjoy vaping flowers. Additionally, newer portable concentrate "Keep It Simple, Stupid" (KISS) carts are getting sophisticated so that, say, a Yocan Cerum all-ceramic cart on a Box Mod running at 13 watts produces straight concentrate vapor that I find superior to diluted concentrate-in-a-cartimizer; more like a low-temp hit off a proper enail..

I have always used PEG 400, but tonight I tried the Wax Liquidizer (Grape Ape). I used 1 gram of my own shatter with 2 ml of the Grape Ape and I'm quite impressed thus far.
Anyone else use this stuff?

Beware: the manufacturer (weeplus) and wholesaler (apexlabs) of the CCELL CBD carts that Dabspot pushes soo hard are misleading us. I purchased several and pulled them apart, which we should all do before we begin to use a new device. Although it is true that they have porous (black ceramic) at its core (which admittedly is innovative for these type carts), there is some type of white hard material encased around it, which is all wrapped with cotton or sometype of fiber material. The white ceramic, though is very soft to where I was able to put a deep scratch in it with light pressure from a scratch awl. I emailed directly with the manufacturer and spoke directly with someone from apex and got the same statement - "ceramic only".

I can't speak to the health factor of all this - that is up to each individual. But this amounts to a significant amount of false advertising that directly impacts our health, and for that factor alone, I am reluctant to give them any of my cash.
