Mobius Glass

Well i just checked, and they are on the list! As i stated before its just too flawless to be a knockoff. And the shop carries extremely top notch stuff. They just had a Mothership Drop party. Clear Honeybuckets were going for
$570+ tax!!! The Mobius has become my Daily Driver for Dabbing. I don't normally have daily drivers because I have so much glass after the first initial newness wears off after a day Or 2 I go back to rotating
Can you explain to me how I order from this place you're speaking of? I was unaware they had online retailers. I'm sure my local store has sales/will bargain with me too if I bring cash vs using my CC.

I've never hit a real möbius but want one.... Can't decide on which bubbler is best for me. This would be For oils, looking for flavor chaser, minimal chug, minimal to medium diffusion, stable enough for an enail, least resistance possible.

This is a time to go and test some pieces my friend. I have tried to hit up the major pieces by seeing them in person. That's what started my infatuation with mobius. I think I'm going to go look at the local shops again though and see what good stuff there is. I like pyrology too a lot. I'm sure I've given American glass a lot of shit since I've seen China stuff, but America we're still the most innovative.

For what its worth, I'll give you my own input:

Reading most of the thread, my interpretation of the thread favorite is the: Mobius Nuc. Some actual owners can hopefully chime in though and give you some first hand experience. From what I remember reading, it lines up with what you listed.

The big decision for me, was between the Recurve Incycler and the Atom. I went with the former because some members mentioned the Atom was a warmer vape, where I really desired a cooler one. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on my complete setup to ship, so can't comment on stability with the Recurve Incycler.

@Cannabis Connoisseur How stable is the new Mobius with the Liger 30mm sitting on it?

Just look at the atom.... get it!!!!!! Lol. I love the atom. Also probably cheaper than the recurve. Try the recurve in person though man. Look and see if a local shop carries them. I'm going to check my local shop out on 420 when they reopen. Maybe I can get a mobius piece for relatively cheap that day.

Its extremely stable! But not as stable as the Ion. If you bump it hard enough it will tilt over. @MoltenTiger scanning the code does take you to the Mobius site

I just wanna say I absolutely LOVE the Binary Matrix as a daily driver for dabbing... For me, it's the perfect balance of flavor and diffusion with very little drag and an ideal height of just under 11 inches.

For my tastes and preferences, Mobius glass pieces are the best and my original plan was to have a collection of them to rotate as daily drivers. But, the Binary ends up being the only piece I use. The 50t comes somewhat close. The Watertrap is amazingly smooth, but it's too short for my desk to be convenient for daily dabbing and I'm scared to use it frequently because of the rarity.

I'm hoping cIRcLE brings out a new original model or two in 2017 that could be comparable in size and performance, yet different from the Binary Matrix.

I recommend the Nuc, Atom, or 50a, 50b, or 50t. I wouldn't go bigger than that, and I'd prioritize the matrix perc over the smaller percs such as in the new recurve incycler, but I haven't actually tried the new model. In my experience, the Nuc is small enough for great flavor (despite the diffusion), and has no chug or resistance to speak of. Big flat base, so zero enail stability issues.

The ONLY thing I don't like about the Nuc is what I don't like about all small/short bongs -- the mouthpiece isn't at a convenient height for frequent desktop use. For me, about 8-8.5" is just slightly inconveniently low, prefer closer to 10-11". As I use the Nuc with an enail, I *can* pick it up, but usually end up tilting my neck to reach it. I've sometimes placed it on a riser, but that feels unsteady with the e-nail attached. Otherwise, the experience of the Nuc with the matrix perc is as fabulous as ever. I've also used the Nuc as a hand-held bubbler for combustion (sadly, still happens sometimes) and it's great for that as well.

I have been totally fantasizing (GAS attack) about picking up a 50b, especially as I expect sales around 4/20. The height is better for me for frequent desktop use. My question is whether the size of the can makes it less than ideal for concentrate vaporization, where you usually want a smaller volume. I'd appreciate any thoughts on the 50b specifically for concentrates. https://jfriendly.com/products/detail/mobius-50b-stereo-matrix-bubbler

I got my Mobius in on Monday. My first initial thoughts were WHAT THE FUCK???!!!! This was bought on by my previous Mobius piece coming from Aqualabtechnologies. ALT sent it in a well packaged box that looked clean and neat. I bought the Incurve Recycler from a place i found on Instagram called funkeymonkeygallery. First off the business end went smooth as can be. I contacted him asked him his bottom dollar. He told me i countered he accepted! Knocked off over 100 off sticker price!!!! Shipped it Friday I got it Monday! When the package arrived it was in a raggedy box about the size of a microwave. The box was literally half open like someone had been sitting on it and it collapsed under their weight leaving it partially opened. Once i opened the bigger box i expected to see a smaller box instead it was my Mobius bubble wrapped like a Chinese piece. This confused me because this store deals with Heady stuff so expensive it makes Mobius stuff look flatout cheap. I'm talking average $10,000 pieces. I thought I'd purchased a knockoff. Once i got it out i REALLY thought I'd been taken. Upon inspection i realized the piece was a stunning Mobius!! My wife swore it was a fake. We both were comparing to our Mobius Matrix Ion. I bought that piece in 2013 and its a flower rig. This is an oil rig and the glass game has changed. I quickly realized Mobius was conforming to the demand of smaller lighter portable rigs. I initially thought the Canteen, RDS, and Recurve were the same. I wanted the Canteen more than any other. I mainly wanted it because it said Canteen for Recycling on the Drain. Mine says Recurve Incycler. The Canteen is 9.5 inches tall mine is 8.
The RDS is a straight neck with "REMOVABLE DOWN STEM" it just has Mobius written on it. The function wise, i was confused. After seeing vids before i received my own i expected a chuggy pull. They are but aren't, it's hard to describe. Its chuggy but there isn't any real resistance to the pull. A major diffence i noticed with the Mobius and my other incycler style rigs was the Mobius only uses one hole in the water catch where others have used as many as 4. Another thing most recycler style rigs require high amounts of water to function properly. This will normally create an unavoidable amount of drag. The Mobius requires it be fairly full also but the magic lies in no added drag!!!! I waited so long to post my review because i needed to have time with this rig to get over my comparing it to my Matrix Ion. A oil rig vs a flower one are going to have some noticeable differences. Overall the aesthetics are 100% on par. The real voodo of this piece lies in its ability to use so much water with good diffusion and still maintain the flavor profiles it does. I don't like the perc being called a Matrix perc since its nowhere as intricate as the original matrix, and the pull and function are nothing like Ion matrix. Not bad just different. Another thing I noticed today was it has a very small pinch hole in the top of the funnel to help drain the piece when cleaning which is Awesome! Anyway typed on my phone sorry for typos

Every $1000+ rig I own has been packaged exactly how you describe! Yes that is genuine, no way that is a knock off. I am seriously considering a colored version of this by @circle.glass !!

I use my 60t for both e-nail and vape x hale og cloud usage, the 65 will have slightly more volume but should be fine.

Just do it Bro! For all the boys and girls out there in Tv Land! I live vicariously through you!! If I didn't have kids that Sour Nectar & Borialis Recurve would be them!! Hands down the most beautiful pieces. And i don't own any $1000 pieces, Bro but i thought that price range automatically put a piece in a pelican case. Like free shipping! If that Hondo had've shown up like that Me, Smith, & Wesson might've taken a road trip!

finally got my mobius sidecar today... im loving it! I need to confirm about cleaning.... after rinsing with ISO, is it a good idea to put the unit into the dishwasher to get rid of the residual ISO? anyone tried? any input welcome. thanks!

IMO, dishwasher is too rough for a Mobius.
I use Powdered Brewery Wash (PBW) instead of ISO but for either I would then:

wash in hot water and Dawn detergent, then 3 or 4 rinses in hot water, and then do an interior swish/rinse with distilled water. Dry exterior and then fill with distilled water.
Tap water has minerals that can dirty the glass.
Just my routine.

This might be over the top, but I've been thinking about this:
http://thesweethome.com/reviews/best-under-sink-water-filter/

An under sink water filter for either my kitchen sink, or a specific sink that I use for filtered water for things like drinking or filling up pieces.

Too much lol?

I also wanted an ultrasonic cleaner.

How long are the hologram stickers staying attached for everyone? Mine came off after 3-4 cleanings, but I am using an ultrasonic cleaner with Alconox.

The sticker on my Ion II is holding up well with normal manual cleanings with water, alcohol, and PBW. It still looks like new more or less. It doesn't ever get soaked in anything although I'm not careful about scrubbing it when I clean the outside.

Interesting discussion. It never occurred to me to keep my hologram sticker on in the first place -- discarded the day I bought the piece. I think it might be valuable only if you plan to resell, or if somehow you have friends that might not believe it's an *actual* Mobius. My Nuc is used and cleaned all the time, I can't see trying to keep a factory sticker on it in pristine condition long-term.

Resale was the only reason I cared. I hope to never sell it, so it is probably moot. It would be that extra piece of mind for helping a sale go through. I agree it looks better without the sticker.

So what makes ya'll like Mobius.

Biggest thing? You could point at any piece on a Mobius shelf while blindfolded and be happy with what you walked home with. You're guaranteed to walk home with a beast.

Happy with the quality, happy with the form, happy with the function.

My 50T is still the piece I regret selling the most to this day. It's tough to describe what a 'dream' would hit like...but I'm pretty sure it'd hit like a 50T.

Oh, and just to chime in on the sticker subject. Mine seemed to stay on well but bugged the crap out of me because it was on the side of the base and I caught the corner with my nails all the time. I was asked specifically if it still had the sticker when it was sold (so it's a big deal to people in that sense).

If you can manage to get it off cleanly I'd just slap it on the underside somewhere...Not sure why they don't just put them all on the bottoms now that I think about it.

^This right here. Mobius pieces seem to have the perfect combination between pure function and pure art once you look at certain pieces. Every model they have has a purpose, although I will say the matrix perc, while awesome, has kind of taken over. I wish there were new Retti pieces in the works. I have a colored 60T and just picked up a similarly colored Minibeak. Also, many colored Mobius pieces are made out of in-house colors that John makes himself.

Might as well give a little image example :D
This is my new Minibeak, made out of Mobius's Halo color and Jet Black, even looks different depending on high light vs. low light, and has an awesome little matrix perc at the bottom. Wish it came with a colored dome instead though just because.

Have any 50t's been made with the ball instead of the shield as the connector/stabilizer? I like the ball a lot more, but only see the mobius logo shield version in the ones I can find online. I keep thinking of buying a 50T or 50B, but.....I just can't justify it. Aarrgh! GAS will have to wait.
