Minivap is my go to vape - I like the rounded high, its reliability and its aesthetics. Although would be nice to see from Lieben Uni!

Lieben Uni? Who is that?

Sorry it's Lieden, my ipad autocorrected it to Lieben.

"A big portion of our effort is dedicated to research in universities (University of Leiden NL, South Western Sydney Clinical School AU, University of the Basque Country ES), not just to know more and to improve our vaporizers, but also for the dissemination our work: ‘the science of vaporizing‘; at scientific conferences, as well as publishing data in scientific magazines and attending workshops."

As a vapor geek, I would love to see any of their research corresponding to vaporizers and vaporizing.

I find that raw dank bud smells more than when using miniVAP but smell is subjective.
When vaping , having a Smoke Buddy (carbon filter smell reducer) helps. You exhale the vapor thru it.

I love my miniVAPS and have a whole lot of basically unused vapes cuz the mV is so good.
Extremely efficient, super flavor, reliable, longest lasting battery, minimal minimal cleaning needed.
The Flexicone modules: wire basket, round screen, and silicone flexi lid are genius. Chamber stays 10x cleaner, can preload, etc

MV can be used many different ways, dry , with bubbler, whip, glass mouthpiece, etc
Portable with battery or desktop with AC puck.

It takes a few minutes to warm up but you can work around that, turn it on first, then grind buds, grab a drink, fill your water bubbler etc

What are the other vapes you own / you've tried that the miniVAP beats?

Minnesota is a professional... his list is LONG and may take him some time to populate!

My top two priorities are a) does it get me ripped and b) does it provide the best possible flavor ? I do not factor cost into my purchasing.

MV has always been on the high end of the cost spectrum, but those with funds and who chase perfection ALL eventually land a MiniVap in their collection and the MV most always stands top of class. Look at some of the names in this thread... legends are among us! Go search the classifieds and see how many MV units you can find for sale. People do not give these devices up, they are workhorses.

What vapes do you have or have you tried?

Pics are troublesome, hope Imgur works. does not show for me, copied link and pasted in pic add icon ??

Flexicone modules reign supreme, as you can add filter in upper part. In all vapes, a LOT of ABV micro dust gets sucked up!! Pic uses spun raw hemp fiber and 2 screens. V2 is just stock screen and cutout hemp fiber paper tea filter in flexi lid.

MV vs: VXL EVO, Mighty, Crafty, Ghost MV-1, Vapir Prima, Haze Dual 2.5/3, Haze Square, Pax 2, De Verdamper, Plenty, Volcano and Dig, DynaVap VapCaps, Firefly, Davinci
IQ, Flowermates, ...

Wow! That's quite an endorsement for the miniVAP. It's so tempting... The price is still a bit of a turn-off for me, even if it's a fraction of what it used to cost when it came out 10 years ago (I've started to read the whole thread from the beginning and it's very amusing!).

What vapes do you have or have you tried?
I've never even tried a vape! I combusted for a while ~15 years ago, and for the past couple years have only had edibles a couple times a month or so, but they can make you very sleepy and last too long so I've been doing a lot of research into vapes for the past few months.

Damn... Sounds like quite the giant-slayer :o Which type of miniVAP (core, etc.) are you using?

For the images, I've found that imgbb.com works better. As it is right now, I can't see what you posted unless I right-click on the broken image icon and tell it to open the image in a new tab.

I, too, until recently, smoked a Bong for at least 10-11 years . and vaping is what made me happier, cleaner, and really higher .

I started with sticky brick, then Lotus, elev8r and tinymight. and now I'm wondering if I need another device.

I wholeheartedly endorse this one for first vapes. As a first vape, you do not want something that is finicky, or has a learning curve. You want something you can use right away and get top performance every time without effort. I feel when first time vapers choose vapes with hit or miss performance (Ghost comes to mind), they tend to give up vaping quickly.

My only reservation is that it may be too much of a hit to the face for your experience. You elude to not wanting to be sleepy or have long lasting affects, and the MV is a medicating machine. It gets you ripped and can knock even the heaviest hitters out.

That's a good point, thanks. What do you think about the TETRAx? Lamart will have a drop of those soon and I'm considering buying a TETRAx + a mod and spiky bent stem. It would probably be way cheaper than a miniVAP, and the reviews are great. Also, I like that the airpath is as clean as it gets (just glass and stainless steel, no solder used and the cable sleeves end as soon as they enter the heater).

But then again, everyone says the miniVAP is like the second coming of God... :hmm::lol:

Oh, that would be totally fine with me. I like intense, psychedelic experiences :) The only thing that I don't like a lot about edibles is that sometimes they mostly make me very sleepy (where I live, you just buy the edible and they probably use the cheapest strains to make it), and it's hard to modulate the intensity and length of the experience. From what I've read here, I suppose that vaping at lower temps would let me do that by increasing the THC to CBD ratio and letting me know if i want a bigger dose or not fairly quickly.

I really love the MV after a bumpy start, but as nobrainer I would strongly recommend the Mighty. Be aware it won’t last forever and can’t be repaired like the MV but it’s certainly one of the easiest vapes to use.

If you might use glass to cool the vapor down go for the MV. Otherwise I would prefer the Mighty (and probably get a new one every 3 years)

Why not spend ever form of currency available!
I go buy flavor mostly?
The MV seem to meet this requirement!

I found several links to their research here:

Also, here is a mention of the MiniVAP from Bedrocan, the Netherlands' producer of medical cannabis:

And here's a post from @stickstones about the some of the safety tests:

It would be cool to see the lab results that show N/D for teflon and silicone leaching. I read a few articles that mentioned that testing took place, but that seemed to be the end of it?

Any 420 sales happening for Minivap this year? Been waiting to grab a new limited edition glass core since I missed last year's Black Friday sales. Might have to wait until November again it seems..

I was told by one of their representatives that there would be a 20% discount on all limited editions from 17-21 April. I'm not seeing the discounts yet, though.

EDIT
The discount seems to be live now: https://www.minivap.com/product/mv-portable-vaporizer-limited-edition/

I would have preferred to see the regular, cheaper editions on sale though... :2c::).

BTW, it would be great if someone could find the actual certificates and safety test lab results for MiniVAP, as @invertedisdead was saying.

Storz & Bickel has these on their website, for example:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lUCIYRME1b2wl5rV8W0gnnP_m3Ly72EJ/view
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gNCDlSQf---Mfhmu9DjniRypfwP_5pUT/view

Or this evaluation of the Volcano on a scientific journal:

Thanks man, I can see they changed the prices but I wouldn't really call it a sale. Sure, they lowered the prices of the orange and blue one by 40€ (more like 10% sale), but the gold GC I was wanting to get was 330€ before and now it's 360€. Kind of a shame, maybe I'll just end up getting the standard one without the battery.

EDIT
The promised sale is now live on minivap.com. Use coupon code "MVSTAYHOME" for 20% off any limited edition Minivap.
