Without these things the mV still gets you where you wanna be.. Just not in such a visual or tasty way.
AAA device loves AAA materials.

From good grade to high grade you can multiply the vapor you get from a gram by two or more. The sickest strain I've tried on the MV is the UBC Chemo. Thick like smoke my friends. Disappointed ? GIGO syndrome at it's realest.

Some strains don't like to get started on red, especially if the bud have not ended the curing properly. It's best to start the load on pink and take two slow puffs before going red. If you kick in with red, you get condensate all over your water piece and no or less vapor. I have been experiencing this the hard way, what a waste of good bud.

Watch out for those resin droplets on your adapters and on your stems, if you find a whole lot of it, you're starting too hot, I have been using twice as much because I was not realizing this.

Edit : over packing also causes this problem, while under packing doesn't provide enough resistance to force heat into the material. A bowl that is topped but not pressed works the best for me.

Anyone ever see Chasing Mavericks? Great surfing flick about the Mavericks break in California. The guy who discovered the break kept trying to get people to join him and no one would. The guy surfed it for something like fourteen years by himself with no one to share it with. That's @Roger D with the MV! Dude's been rocking it pretty much solo for years. In the movie people start surfing it after the Hawaii crew came over and checked it out...then it got busy there!

Get ready for the circus @Roger D ! Respect.

I scooped out a small ball of Hermes adapter nectar.. About a 3mm ball of.
Created a nice basket module (Large) being careful with nectar placement, so, when it liquefied it had herb to soak into.
Started off on Pink and got hit after hit after hit.. Switched up to Green and it just got denser and denser. I had to stop.. Gonna be too baked at work the next morning if I hadn't done. That module is patiently awaiting my next session.

Question for those who had to return their MiniVAP to Vapor Nation: how long after receiving your unit did it take for them to decide it was (or wasn't) faulty?

I switch often between all the different set ups I have usually, but for the last little while, my Hermes glass hasn't left the confines of the cap set up I have..
As such it's been used inverted until the nectar is near dripping out the larger end.

Then I flip it next session and opt for a right way up FBomb sesh.

When I harvested, it was gathered in the larger part, as I intentially ended on an inverted session and sat it in a way as it would gather there. It's a son of a Bitch trying to collect it from the short end.
I wait til it cools, fire it into the fridge for five minutes and the use a plastic straw. Just scrape that honey all up in there. Not too messy at all as the straw slides along and the hardened oil kinda wants to follow the first bit in. Then just keep twisting into its end is filled and splodge it out into some herb. This is the first collection since getting the adaptor.

So here's a question - it'll be a couple of weeks til mine shows up. I've read that the instructions are shaky at best, and people seem to take a few shots before they figure out how to put everything together before winding up getting it straight. What should I be getting ready in the meantime? Any accessories I should be aiming at?

I have a combo 14/18 wt adapter that should work on this, but will keep the printed one as an option when everything gets here.

Now I get to reread the thread - been following it for awhile, but just out of interests sake. And now I get to do it once more, but with feeling this time :)

Oddly enough, while going through some of the charts and graphs available on the MV website, I discovered that they use my MM supplier in their testing. I chose Bedrocan as a supplier simply due to the fact they've been providing MM to the Dutch government for many years. If Bedrocan can grow medical grade MM for the Dutch they are good enough for me, and if their testing methods are also good enough to be used as a measurement base for a med vape company during testing, that is a good sign as it shows they really wanted to be accurate. At least to me it's a good sign.

Here is a quickie overview of how things work in Canada (my own experience anyways) - Once you are approved (an onerous task in itself) you then pick a supplier (from a purple doc on the Gov website. No advertising. They can't even say where they are located, so you can't pick one near you on purpose), and they ship your prescription every month. Provided that you place an order. And never ship to any other address, because then you need a new card. Everything is predicated on that one address. If you travel for work and won't be home for awhile you can carry your monthly amount on your person. It's awkward and cumbersome, but it's better than a lot of places, and I'm thankful for that!

I never pull the trigger on a vape without reading its whole thread here first. Luckily, I got the mflb and the Solo before those threads were over 1000 pages long! I think the Cera thread was the most challenging for me because I got it so late in the game.

Hahaaa, had a little spare time today and thought I do something privat in 3D.
After thinking a while, what I want to start with... I looked in my hand and saw my mV.
This dedicates me to do some Renderings or/and a Animation from it.

Nice to have it in reallife, this means I can go into the detail with this project.
Started with the modelling progress today and there is still some missing parts like the outside from the chamber where the Lid gets rotate in and more, but anyway here are screenshots from the very rough model so far...
If someone would like to see the end result to use it as a desktop wallpaper, then I can share the final Images here also after finished him... :)

Edit: loaded up my unfinished nectary module and got two huge hits on green.. One on red and I had to put it away for another day again. There is more clouds in there though for sure.

:clap: Actually had the same idea while looking into the manual for references, sadly my Spanish is not that good and felt lost in it... :(

Contect is possible to made for me, maybe i can translate the text with googles help. But it will come out worst i guess. Someone good in spanish language here ???
Then we could make a english fanual for fun and community^^ :drool:

Hey lazylathe, I am thinking about buying the herbie in the future and want to know how it performs against the minivap, with no fan assist and straight from the whip.

Maybe I give it a try and look how much work is it for me to do that but first aim will be some Artwork.
