it depends on the texture of the concentrate.
Lift the globe off... and,
crumble wax.... roll a ball and sit it on the coil.
putty... wind some on a toothpick, and smear it off on the coil
hash oil, drip a drip on coil.
I use a toothpick for everything wax related....
wood is easy for me to use.
I get some wax on a toothpick, and "roll" it off onto the coil.

Hello everyone 
First time posting since owning/using a ophos for a week now. I love. This. Pen.
Granted it's my first concentrate pen I find myself liking it more and more each day. Today was the first time I cleaned out the Cart and wow that sure made a difference in performance. I hope to learn much more about the ophos in this thread

Just received a Kiss Globe for my Minicron Lite.
I absolutely love it!
Not only does it hit great and taste awesome.
It looks so bad ass too!
So now i have a brand new regular KISS cart. Plus a brand new Titanium KISS cart that i will never be using.
Hey @THC SCIENTIFIC, do you guys do exchanges for unused items? I would love to exchange for another KISS Globe or 2? TIA

I ordered a kiss globe and w9tech.com mistakenly sent me a titanium kiss cart. I called them and they told me they would send out a globe after I decided to go ahead and buy the ti kiss cart. I tried the titanium last night and something is not right with it..the coils are glowing red when I press the button. On the first kiss cart I got (not titanium ) never did that. I'm wondering if this is because of the titanium but I doubt that suspicion. I've emailed them several times and have gotten no reply as of yet. I'm reaching out to everyone on this thread for help. Kinda disappointed I payed 18.99 for a cart that doesn't work properly..

There are less coils (3) on the Ti Kiss Cart.
Perhaps that is why it glows.
I have all 3 of the KISS carts, but have yet to dry fire one to see if it is glowing!

Vape businesses are not like IBM with rows of phones and desks... they are efficient but smaller enterprises, that need time to get back to those that message. Depending also on the heading of the message, (subject line) it could have gone to spam folder.
Perhaps you could try sending a message here... to @THC SCIENTIFIC or @nao12000 as you wait for your email to be responded to.

Sorry, I can not subject my cart to a dry firing.
I have never dry fired a cart.
I have one two year old Omicron cart that still functions.. (sluggish though)
It has been said dozens of times in all the w9tech threads to avoid this.
While I love to test things out, I can not bring myself to do so outside of parameters that are suggested.

I have never tried to burn off oils, because I grew up with softer silica wicks, rather than ceramic....
and also because I am paranoid of frying my coil.
I always add oils to refresh the old oil.. and when too thick, I dip the coils (coil side down) in a puddle of 91% Iso, and I intermittently blot the coils lightly on soft paper towel.
I would not contradict the advice of nao12000... she is an "an time" pro!
I am just overly protective of my tools.

@wax first off I think we should be clear I was sending u a globe since we made the error of sending you a ti kiss instead of the globe . But then you said you would like to purchase it since u had been thinking of buying one anyway so you sent payment.
The ti kiss cart is most definitely a different cart than a nichrome.in use and appearance first and foremost it gets hot fast and glows red. The interesting thing with tigr2 is that it pulls a lot of energy fast then it actually drops n pulls less energy and is no longer glowing red so it actually helps to maintain the battery.. visually you will see much less wraps 4 at most.
Last but not least we answer tickets daily m-f 11 to 5 but only on the ticket system so that we can manage the discussions and responses by customer service.
If you would like quicker service thcscientific and I are here as well and will answer all pms .

I'm the exact opposite my regular KISS cart glows red. But the Titanium one does not.
I just assumed my Minicron Lite doesn't have enough power. To make the thicker titanium wire glow red hot.
@wax & @Vitolo if you look down the mouthpiece you can see the coils glow red. Even when loaded with wax or oil.
No need to fire it dry.

The largest I use in the KISS Globe, is a dab the size of this guy's head:

I don't go much larger...
... for concern of not getting a smooth hit...
You can go much smaller.. as tiny a hit as you please.
The size of those images are going to vary depending on screen resolution, size, and settings.
Just throwing that out there.
Using your vacuum cleaner method does the iso smell go away completely
Edit:you seem very knowledgeable about the ophos, how long would you day the kiss carts last?

It eventually always goes away.
I use 91% Iso.
I dip..dip..dip.. blot ..dip..dip.. dip.. blot, then leave it sitting for an hour, and I find the smell gone.
We all have different moves..
I do not know if you drenched it or moistened it...
when I use a vacuum, I use it until I am satisfied all odor is gone, and all wetness is no longer present.
I use 91% Iso.
