Thanks for that severmore! Just ordered my brand new ophos. First portable concentrate vape so I'm pumped. Such a great price for what seems like a good buy. Like I said I'm new to this area of vaping so any tips such as opening and loading would be super. Nicotine pens are very popular in my area hopefully I blend in

Please make sure you read the manual and ask questions.
As for the ophos quick pointer, dont hold the button down to long. Pulse it and your good to go.
example,
Press for few seconds feel the vapor and pulse and your good to go.

Hey @THC SCIENTIFIC or anyone else who might be able to help, I have a few simple questions about thread adapters. I see that W9 sells http://www.w9tech.com/thread-adapters/ and also http://www.w9tech.com/thread-adapters-510-601/ now, I am just wondering if the first link includes two different thread adapters? And if so, then is the other link posted a different thread adapter than these?
I'm mostly looking to use my Omicron to run an Ego threaded Kanger Mini Protank III.

the first link the one without the numbers allow you to use lets say a ego-w carts with the minicron, minicron lite,omicron and persei vapes.
Since we have a 601 threading and our ophos kiss carts are not the standard ego threads this allows you to use a ophos kiss cart on our other devices other then the ophos.
Now the second one that comes with it does the same thing but allows you to use a 510 ego style tank or cartridge.
Essentially allowing all other other vapes other then the ophos to use the ophos carts or other 510 ego-w style carts.
Now the second link the one that is with the numbers 510-601 what this adapter allows you to do is use our carts on other batteries that are 510 threaded.
Since we have a 601 threading and our ophos kiss carts are not the standard ego threads this allows you to use a ophos kiss cart on our other devices other then the ophos.

I received the New KISS carts.
Both of them, and they both surely impress!
The threads are smoothly coated and turn more effortlessly than I have seen on devices of late.
When the covers on both of these units are screwed down, there is a slight gap that is not present in other units that keeps the cover from getting stuck to the heater with residues.
I like each, but for slightly different reasons, but they both are fantastic.
The nichrome wired unit has more winds (turns) of the element, around the ceramic rod.
It seems to get hot faster, and can function, even with a battery that is running on slightly lower voltage.
The hits are thick, and full bodied, and the flavor is clean.
This unit seems to be more carefree, and leaves me comfortable allowing newbies a shot with it.
The TiGR2 unit has only 3 wraps of Titanium wire around the rod.
It seems to take a fraction of a second longer to get going than the KISS with the nichrome, but in my opinion, it has a much cleaner and less harsh flavor.
I am not sure why it works the way it does, but I get just as big a hit as I do with the nichrome... but somehow the dab lasts many hits longer when I use the TiGr2 cart. I do not just mean the unit using up the "dregs', but rather, a dab is still visually sitting on the coils after my hit!
Obvious care was taken to make the threading very smooth, and to keep unit as free of stickiness as possible.
I like them.

I have found that when I load up just enough for about two hits, and, hit it slowly, the unit stays cleaner longer. These guys get messy when driven hard. (I don't have the O-Phos. I have a few of similar type)
I always keep an $0.89 box of wood toothpicks nearby. They're great for delicately scraping oil, or emptying your pipe.
Rebuild kits have been finalized and gonna start being packaged next week.
First time poster hopefully you guys can help ,just got my new ophos today. I followed the instructions and placed a small dab of wax on the "shaded" area of the ceramic I guess you call them coils? I heated it up for no more than 3 seconds and got a not so great tasting cloud. It tasted much like a dab from a rig. I immediately checked the ceramic and it had turned blackish. Is this normal ? I was sunder the impression the ophos had decent taste and efficiency. I only got maybe two or three hits before it started tasting too bad for me to continue. Any help on loading and what I can do about the black on the ceramic would be most helpful.

Try not holding down button too long, may be burning oils, try pulsing button on and off if you want to take longer hits otherwise it's like dabbing on a red hot nail (you just don't want to do it). I love my oil pen, I think it's tastier than any of my nails (quartz and ti 2)
What about the black on the ceramic ? Any cause for worry ?
And yeah dabbing from the Evo has made any other way of consuming concentrates not as tasty
Do you have an ophos as well ?
I'm also noticing wax running down to the bottom of the kiss cart is this what people call clogging ? I feel like I'm not loading the wax right as it never seems to last very long. I'm certainly getting medicated but feel like I'm wasting concentrates

You might have to incorporate the "sipping" technique to facilitate the cooling of the vapor.
OR
You need to build your own set up to give you extra length on the stem.
OR
Invest in a J-hook (again, big up to @MileHighLife)
I've been using mine at home a lot and it does cool down the vapor so much while still keeping the total size compact.
This J-hook with the GPong maintains an all glass path which contributes to keeping flavor nice and sweet.

In regards to the extra length inhibiting the riot case compatibility:
Pop out the screen out of the 3" glass stem.
Place a domed screen or the NO.2 screen in between the bullet and the GPong, and then insert the 3" glass stem from the top end so the flange is on the top side?
This is the set up that I had with my Ascent stem and it worked well.
This allowed me to pull the stem out when not in use.
Worth a shot maybe...?

I recommend that you do shorter feathering of the button .If you want to make your ceramic white again do an iso soak then air dry and put on unit and lightly feather button again to get any residue off . Start again with a clean cart .Please feel free to PM myself or thc scientific for anymore tips

@wax you can use your device two ways. You can lay a glob of goo on the coils, then gun the trigger while inhaling. Or, you could pulse the trigger to warm the rod up, while holding a dab tool to it. After the wick soaks up oil, put away the dab tool, gun the trigger and inhale. The second method involves two steps, loading the wick then vaping off the wick. You will prefer the taste of the second method, as well as not burning oil. The first method lets you light up more goo than the second.

Couple things:
1. You are dabbing at WAY too hot of a temp for the nail if it tastes bad from a rig.
2. The KISS cart should only have enough material loaded onto it for 2 or 3 good pulls (If that). Sounds like you're overloading and riding the power button too long.
3. The white ceramic turns back because oil soaks into it. It's normal.

Today was a sad day, my Omicron Lite that I have been using for almost exactly two months stopped functioning. I believe I am a victim of the dreaded center pin, I have tried to follow the instructions and videos posted in this thread, but to no avail.
I just don't understand why it stopped functioning, because I have babied this thing. I cleaned the cartridge once a week, charged it once a week (both on Sunday nights). When I cleaned and charged my Omicron Lite, that was literally the only time I unscrewed the cartridge (aside from switching out the KISS TI for the globe a maybe three times to give it a try, yet I have only had the globe for two weeks). I also followed the instructions offered by @THC SCIENTIFIC and @nao12000 to not over screw the cartridge too tight, yet I am still experiencing this problem.
Based on how long I have had this unit and how often I unscrewed/cleaned the cartridge (and the few times I used the globe), I have probably screwed and unscrewed the cartridge 2 dozen times.
Just wondering what can be done, I have tried everything. Will I have to shell out $30 to have this fixed? because that is literally the price of the battery alone minus the TI Cartridge ($25 at the time of purchase) and other accessories.

I do apologize we do have a fix for this, all you have to do is call in and our CS team will get you up and running. We are working hard to fix any issues previous designs have had and we think we have finally done it.
