this looks like twin of @DDave version.
SmartWeigh GEM 20 but it includes 2 calibrating weights.

I first bought a 0.1 gm accuracy scale and then decided I needed the 0.01 accuracy scale/ bought one.
Now I need the 0.001 gm accuracy scale.
To be proactive, what's a good 0.0001 gm accuracy scale??? Just kidding
0.001g
Thanks
Same here. Try not using the TARE function. Just put the little metal dish on there, mark down what it weighs, and then add a crumb. You might be able to get it to go up by 0.001-0.002g. I'm not sure if that is actually helps, though. Like say you wanted 0.020g..Can you accurately weigh out 0.020g by putting the 10g weight on the scale, and then a few crumbs next to or on top of it, or would the measurement still be +/- ~0.005g?I just tried however and was not able to successfully get it to register 0.001g. The lowest I got was 0.004g shown below, just specks of herb.
I also recommend for the AWS Gemini-20 0.001g scale. It's super accurate, comes with callibration weights, and has a windshield which is great for milligram measurements.
Do keep in mind, however, that most scales we are using, are most accurate (in single digit increments) to one decimal place BEFORE the last one they read. So if your scale reads down to 0.001g, then you can probably trust it's 0.01g increments, and then have a little more room for error in the 0.001 range. A scale that reads down that small needs a good weighing environment, too. No electronics and a vibration reducing, level surface, as well as a moderate room temperature, and time for the scale to have adjusted to the room temperature, are all needed for the most accurate reading. Otherwise, you might get fluctuation in the last decimal place.

How about some recommendations for good mg scales?
I now have a few AWS type portables but they are hit and miss. You can get them on ebay for cheap.
Looking for .001 or .01 accuracy.
I know the accuracy has limits unless you spend upwards of $1000.
All of the Amazon links has bad reviews... How accurate are the reviews?
For scales try Old Will Knott Scales. These folks specialize in scales so they know their shit. They have great service and will consult with you over the phone. How about some recommendations for good mg scales?
Could someone maybe please post photos of these small loads, for those of us without precision scales? Just how much ground herb is 0.05g, 0.1?
This is what my regular microdose looks like. It's approx 0.015 gms. It is unground. I never grind. Just a tiny nug pulled off a flower. It has been kept at 60% rh.
how many hits does it hold till "dead" when using the vapcap?
I'd like to get some hempfibre so reduce the oven size of my vapcap.... But I can't get it...
George sells degummed hemp fiber on the Dynavap site.
hehehe.... @Squiby, that little crumb has me wanting to send you a gram or two, gal! That little nug looks so lonely. LOLThis is what my regular microdose looks like. It's approx 0.015 gms. It is unground. I never grind. Just a tiny nug pulled off a flower. It has been kept at 60% rh.

While such small doses through the day don't quite work for my pain and insomnia issues, this thread has been very valuable to me by making me much more aware of tolerances and trying keep mine reasonable.
I have posted this twice in this thread. Go back to page 11 to see: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/micro-dosing.19915/page-11#post-1021597Could someone maybe please post photos of these small loads, for those of us without precision scales? Just how much ground herb is 0.05g, 0.1? Maybe pictures next to an everyday object like, uh, a doorkey, something like that? ... If anyone could be bothered, I'd be interested to see them.
