My original Lily sans tweaks is still going strong. Reports of her death are greatly exaggerated!
(I lied, old Lily has gone to a very good friend who is vapeless, she's still alive and kicking :-) )

Posted this in Ed's thread and thought i should probably post it here too.
After a week with @Ed's TnT Lily stem
The stem fits great and changes the appearance of Lily quite a bit. stickstones I think said it was 'Cat in the Hat' style but I personally think it's more a Gandalf the Grey, lord of the rings business.
The extra length not only adds style but cools the vapor nicely and I find the reduced sized end piece compresses the airflow and sort of injects vapor into my mouth for some nice big clouds.
The main reason I purchased the stem was because I hardly ever traveled with Lily for fear of breaking the original glass stem.
No such worries with Ed's piece. I have dropped it. But all it did was make a lovely sound as it bounced to a rest on the floor.

I just got my stem from Ed last week..took it on a trip and it works nicely...i was having some problems with it initially but after looking at this picture i am now cooking with grease as they say...this thing takes the Lily to yet another level.Posted this in Ed's thread and thought i should probably post it here too.

@hoyo77 Glad to hear it bro, my bad for not explaining it better and showing better images, I get so wrapped up in all I do I forget that I am not the only one using the pieces, my bad! I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come! Post a pic of your rig if you will!
Hello fellow Lily hammerers!
I've been using Lily almost permanently with my crappy bong since getting the WPA with my updated Lily. I've almost always been covering two of the temp holes to ensure getting up to heat quicker and killing a bowl in just a few rips.
Then my friend came round who now owns my previous Lily 1.
My god, she completely schooled me on Lily use :-)
So now i don't cover any holes at all, still get the same big clouds, get better/more taste/flavour, and cough way less, but the bowls are killed at the same speed! It's the same with out glass, this thing is performing the same but giving me a much nicer experience without covering any holes.

Typically I have to hold holes and/or tap carbs bc my lung power is too weak dry (and with wpa usually too much extra air anyway, so hold all holes) but when I hand it to a combuster I often tell them try not holding any holes first and often times they get monster hits just based on draw and flame position. One of the great things about Lily is those two variables plus the three holes, so everyone can find a way to use it, and you can control the temp too!

Can anyone compare how harsh the lilys vapor is using Ed's stem to the daisy? Is it still a huge gap between the two in this aspect or does the stem bridge the gap nicely?

The daisy has such a wide and glass mp that the hits are so sweet..eds stem greatly improves the lily tho...

Would anyone be able to give an idea at how the lilys vapor feels compared to smoking a blunt? Have the mighty (which is awesome) but can't really feel anything as I inhale which I'm kinda missing. Thinking the daisy would feel like the mighty so wondering if the lily would be a better fit for what I'm looking for

The Lily is the one you are looking for. It hits like a bong. You will feel it as you inhale and you will be in disbelief as you pick yourself off the floor to hit it again!!!

It is possible to get a throat hit with Daisy but it takes a bit of work (big flame, slow draw, cover carb and turb) but with Lily it's easier to get what you are looking for, personally I like a little heat/throat hit at times and this is when Lily comes out to play.

@TriiKLe made a video in the Daisy thread that shows how to hack it into a conduction vape like their new Peace model. I thought about it for a minute and figured, hey, why not do the same thing with Lily, after all, she's been kind of getting the short shrift around here lately, but she's a worthy lady in her own right.
I used my Daisy heat intake as a mouthpiece and stuck it into Lily's bowl hole (you could probably use another Lily MP or rig something else here), it sealed pretty well without needing an o-ring but was a tad loose so I made sure to be careful when handling it. I put the material into Lily's mouthpiece, I think I could still put it higher up towards the flared end.
First pic is a before shot:
Second pic is after consumption. Conduction is a nice change of pace but I find the flavor gets worse towards the end of the session as opposed to convection. Got several nice clouds.
It kinda felt like I was that villain guy from the James Bond movie, Man with the Golden Gun.

You beat me to the punch. I was already composing the Lily hack video to release in a few days!
I am really glad to see the Triihouse eco-system start to show.
The difference between how I will show you guys how to do the hack in my version is I put the vaporizing barrel in where the herb goes for Lily. It would have been the opposite of how you have yours set up. I also recommend trying the conduction style with out Lily's glass mouth stem; just mouth to wood.
Also, while I am here, I know of some people who use Lily without the glass mouth piece in regular convection mode. So if any of y'all wanna try that and report your results, that would be great.
Another 'also', while I am here, from my experience with concentrates in Lily ( in direct-flame convection mode), I just place the concentrates ( only have tried bubble so far) straight on the SS screen with all three holes covered at first draw to warm up and then the rest of the session draws with just 2 holes covered. I do not place any cotton or anything that can burn in there so I can get really high heat with out worry of combustion.

Sorry Tommy, once this got in my head I had to do it and post it. I didn't even think about the opposite way like you describe, that actually makes more sense and doesn't require a second glass piece, so a bit easier.

There is still a gap, but it's not huge anymore.
The large diameter Daisy mouth piece takes some beating for a cool large draw.

Ah nice! Gonna have try this out so I can get a feel for the Peace. Will report results whenever I do, though my Lily torch is busted and no others. Mentioned it to Brenna but was a bit confused by the response and havent heard back again yet...

Depends how much you put in, what temp you vape at (size of flame, amount of holes covered).
Saying that, my answer would be 'more than I expected'
