While it could be easy to combust, due to the short direct air path you do get good feedback as you hit it, I have come very close (dark spots) but always notice (from heat/taste) and remove the torch just in time.

Best advice would be start with the lighter further away and move closer while trying different draw speeds, bit or trial and error.

Also using with water or a longer MP/whip will increase the chance of combustion due to less feedback.

Its possible, but not easy if you don't hold any holes and don't point the flame to deep in.

The way you control temp is the 3 carb holes, flame distance, and finally your draw.

Only times I combusted was covering all 3 holes whole using a bubbler and getting too close with the flame, or not moving the flame around enough. Using it dry, if you keep it too fixed in one position and close, you can scorch parts of the bowl too, but really only if the flame is close enough

I was thinking I would pick up a Lily as a backup vape for a trip I am taking in July. I was pretty shocked by the international shipping rates. $58 to Australia for an $89 vaporizer. Sorry but that is just plain wrong and there is no way it should cost that much. I'd love to pick one up but can not justify that shipping rate.

Try shipitto .They are a dropshipper on the web.there are many others too.Ive used them a few times for items i really want that cant be shipped to Oz because of trade licencing issues etc.

You can get a quote quite simply.they give You an american address which is their address in the states and then for a charge they send the item to You.

if shipping for lily is free to the states thats an option.

Cant have You missing out :peace:

Could give vapefiend a look, £72 for Lily, I think over £70 gets free shipping could be worth an email to check, or for an instant answer give them a ring (an expensive ring though from oz)

So I heard people had put a small nugget in whole to vape and got intrigued, thought I would give it a try but it just won't fit :hmm:

And my chosen herb of choice [insert any green legal herb, just pick one it don't matter:D] didn't come out as good as I would have liked but there is shit loads of it so not a total loss :brow:

The only downside to both of these beauty's is the amount of time I waste during the day just looking at them

I did think the joke was funny but i got to say that is some gross looking herb man with all those dead leaves. I know i am picky these days but i wouldn't vape that unless you paid me cold hard cash on a challenge and i was looking for lunch money

You are taking "picky" to a whole different level mate if you find a bud gross cause of a few dried leaves! You do know they fall to the slightest touch, right?
That is a very tasty bud I say and I am so jealous right now... Those vapes are gorgeous by the way! :D

Agreed..that bud is nice on the inside..lol..it's not always exactly what it looks like..it might smell like heaven..or taste like a dream..few dead leaves is par for the course when growing your own..shit happens but to be picky and not vape it? Nah..load it up!!

Don't want to derail this thread but those are not some fan leaves turning yellow and falling off a plant at the end of it life cycle as the buds suck all the sugar out of the plant....

That is dead sugar leaves that indicate deficiencies and other issues throughout the grow process. Again, i know i am picky and only vape organic these days anyway but in todays day and age i would honestly need to be desperate as hell to touch that stuff. I can only imagine what might be found under the close inspection of a jewelers loop. I cant believe i am the only one with these type of standards.

You jest, but I am becoming a convert to the whole nug method, it's quite a good technique to experience, I must say and Daisy is particularly adept at it.
Yeah I did try in lily and liked it but with daisy being new I hadn't got round to it but after your suggestion I'm sold daisy does indeed like a nug.

I've always been 100% flowers but went for volume this time (with not as good visual results as usual but did get more than enough volume) as I wanted to put a few oz to one side to play with some ISO, don't think it will be used in lily or daisy as I don't think I could put them through all that mess.

Here is what lay beneath

And a little closer (although my phone is a little out of date so not best quality pic, looks better to the eye)

Not as bad as I first though

Edit: @IAmKrazy2 i agree with most of what you say I did make a few mistakes with this lot as I was trying something different to my norm, and if I was located somewhere else I'm sure I would have higher standards but being in the UK my setup isn't what I would like it to be as it's not worth the risk of investment, but with little to no cost and the fact I know what has been used on it, it's a better bet cost and health wise for me atleast :peace:

More power to you. She looks a lot better when properly trimmed, which IMO is very important. Best of luck in future production.

I've had my Cherry Lily for about a month now and it has been absolutely wonderful. It is extremely well designed and extremely efficient once you get your technique down. I use 2 lighters, the first one I keep turned down low and use for the first half of the session. Once I don't feel like I am getting anything I switch to the second lighter (which is turned up higher) and use that to finish off the second half of the bowl.

Works wonderfully and not having batteries to worry about is just fantastic.

I think this vape will last for many years and still perform like it does today, time will tell.

Great work triihouse, cant wait to get a Daisy now!

Are there any Canadian resellers for Triihouse products?

I want a good butane vape and the Lily sounded great until I saw $45 shipping to Canada, which is just silly.

Skimming the thread however, it appears the Lily is functionally superior to the Lotus, Hammer, or other butane vapes?
