Did you mean to say "V3"

Not yet, on the V3. That's still quite a ways out. V2's were out of stock but are back in stock however.
Trust me these things are worth the wait. Although there was no demand for them when I bought my first Turtle banger and V1 Liger from him, he can't keep them on the shelves these days!

I have been talking to Josh as well! Not as much about current orders as future products, BUT he did tell me that the V2 Ligers landed and will be shipping out next week as Waxpain said.
Now the interesting news is about the monster sapphire dish that he may release in limited quantity!
Because Josh is requiring superior smoothness and no flaws on his giant sapphire dish it is going to be costly. Even without a lot of profit he will still need to charge $300 per insert unfortunately. But I think that's on par with D-nails halo and this sapphire dish for the V3 should be much bigger and blow the halo away. It's hard to imagine any nail better than a V2 Liger with a SiC inset but I sure can't wait to try this and find out!!!

I'm highly interested in this information. More details would be great.

The monster 30mm diameter sapphire insert is only compatible with the v3 correct?
So are the 16mm/20mm sapphire inserts going to also be limited quantity?
And will those v2 16mm/20mm inserts release before the 30mm v3 insert? (as the v3 is still months away)

I think the sapphire is still a ways out as well. By that time the V3 will most likely be out and if demand is there for them, sapphire inserts will hopefully be available for all 3 starting with the V3 then the 20 and 16mm versions. But if you are going to buy a $300 insert you might not really mind buying the V3 bucket to add on to the V2 body since it will give you such a huge dabbing surface. This is the V3 which is, as you know around 30mm. Vs the 16mm V2.

I'll put in a good word for that. Until then here's some Liger V2 porn. This is the 20mm Rocking the Quartz insert with latest variable air flow storm cell cap and skelly handle with scoop tip for this blonde Blue Dream crumble I have this weekend! Using the fav, the Landini Octocycler.

Very cool looking glass. So, do you play the Beatle's Octopus Garden when banging it? LOL

Not exactly on the Liger Banger, but I did receive the G9 Omron enail today from the link you referred to me. Arrived perfectly and a day early.

Josh does seem excellent about keeping his customer's informed on back order status and the last I had from him is that my Liger Banger should hopefully ship by end of the week. We will see.

In the meantime, this is the G9 I purchased to power it. The on/off momentary action button is the same as used in Gimodo nails (or looks like it) ain't really all that beefy feeling but it works and if it ever breaks then replacement switches are very easily sourced.

Thanks for the steer

The new carb caps for the flat coil V3 sound pretty killer. They'll have a rounded surface , making it capable to rotate the cap in 3D rather than just setting the cap on top of the nail. Josh had tons of awesome info on the design and the new inserts too. The guy is like the Professor X of enails , super smart yet personable . This is definitely going to compete with anything Dnail and H.E. put out in the next year.

sounds so sophisticated. could you explain a little more what you mean by 3D?

I'm assuming the rounded surface makes for a better seal also?

Im not too sure exactly how it will work lol. He said the new design would allow you to further manipulate the stream of airflow on top of the vortex that the storm cells already create. I haven't seen the design yet but it definitely sounds like an awesome concept.

it definitely does.

i remember @ccchase420 talking about turning/twisting the carb cap in his Terpy Tuesday #3 episode as it had produced great results. So i assume this is what the v3 is aiming to excel at

I also got my shipping order from Josh yesterday! Yeah!!

I have to compliment Josh, he communicated clearly, honestly, and even a bit apologetically about the delay, kept me informed when he had a view of when he could ship, then promptly shipped on his projected date. THIS is customer service that a couple of larger, high buzz/high viz, portable manufacturers could take a lesson from (not naming names, but they are insects LOL)

This is the most beautiful nail I've ever seen. The design is ingenious. The whole thing comes apart for easy cleaning , portability and customization options (especially when the V3 releases) . The CCA logo looks badass and the notches on it and vapor bucket give it a nice modernized look. Everything came well polished and my threads were all smooth on every piece. The coil fits perfectly secured to the vapor bucket. I feel like temps are much more accurate than my old nails but don't have a heat gun to confirm. The SiC insert fits absolutely perfect inside the bucket. Much to my surprise there was also a quartz insert too!!

Im using a different cab cap and need to get a storm cell to truly use this thing to its full potential. The hits from both inserts are so smooth. Not to mention the flavor. It's more robust than my other nails and every single dab tastes amazing. Delicious , flavorful dabs that make my mouth water every time. Hard to tell if I like the SiC or Quartz better. Either plus the FC-710 are a killer experience. The size of the vapor bucket makes cleaning a breeze, just dip a Qtip in there or you can remove the insert for a detailed cleaning.

The customer service is just as amazing as this nail is. Josh emailed me every couple days just keeping up with the order and also gave me exciting details about the v3 too. He's an awesome guy who i believe really cares about his products and customers. I will stick with CCA as my go to.

Anyways I'm high as shit after rigorous testing but can't wait to order a storm cell and checkout what's in store in the future. :science:

Got mine this afternoon as well. I'm three dabs in with the SiC insert at 650 and while I'm not necessarily blown away by a jump in flavor it appears to offer a significant efficiency increase. These dabs were much smaller than normal, but done with the Liger and Storm Cell at a much lower temp than I'm used to it appears that a dab half to two-thirds the size of what I was using is just as effective. Before the Liger I was using a domeless Quartz nail between 680 and 730.

I'm very happy with the set. It looks very stylish and you gotta appreciate the design and engineering on this stuff. Josh tossed a Quartz insert in for free since there was the short wait.

Got mine last....oh, Thurs/Fri and just had the chance to use it yesterday with new G9 enail.

By the by, I did open the G9 and confirm that it was the Omron 5Ecc QX with the external SSR which is supposed to be better. I note, however, that displayed temp drops about 5 degrees F and over shoots by about 8 degrees. Maybe if I let it settle some more and everything reaches equilibrium this would stablize but I really think its due to the hysteresis and relay output time setting which I just ain't going to mess with (I did download the Omron manual but I'm not getting into its programming anytime soon...or I will probably end up buying another LOL).

Like the others above, the quality of this piece is only matched by the quality of Josh's customer service and friendliness. I also found an extra quartz insert with my ordered SiC a a bonus due to delay. I will take the money I would have paid for this insert had I ordered and use it for a future purpose with CCA 710.

I am not an experienced dabber. I have use a box mod and DT atomizers for the most part. So, first thing I did was blow myself out of the water with this banger and needed to recline on the couch for a good couple of hours....no movement or though allowed LOL. It worked beautifully.

Josh told me he runs at 600 F and Chase from Terpy Tues told me he runs at 590. I ran the first time at 635 and the second at 600 and found 600 to be more than adequate with carb cap. Nice puddle in the insert, put on carb cap and wow....instant milk.

Question, I'm thinking about digging around for an 18mm male to 18 mm female low profile adapter just to seperate the banger from the main piece of glass (for sticking, or whatever). Smart or just too anal of a waste of time?

Again my thanks to everyone who helped me on FC, particularly @mrbonsai420, @SamuraiSam , @Monsoon and of course Josh of CCA 710!!

Ah shit....there goes the tolerance. LOL

P.S. the glass looks so clean due to T-dub's tip and instructions on using PBW to clean glass with. You can't see the light tint, but also from T-dub's guidance, I have a few drops of cranberry extract to prevent build-up (like RezBlock but cheaper). Cheers

P.S.S - question for you guys, to get the insert into the bucket, I had to remove the stem (just unscrew it) as a very little bit of stem extends into the bucket. I thought perhaps this was by design as now the insert can't accidentally fall out, but is this just happen stance on how mine was originally assembled or is this by design? I'm fine with it this way...for reason of security of the insert as mention....but wondering if this is all of them or just me?

Maybe I'll have to try an even lower temp. I've been at 650.

The first time I went to place the SiC insert in the bucket it wouldn't really fit, but that was because it was cold, so I heated it up first.

Regarding the stem extending into the bucket, you can adjust that. Just unscrew the vapor bucket a bit. Along with the vapor bucket locking nut you can get everything aligned how you like it (especially for different rigs with 45 degree joints, for instance). Even the coil nut that keeps the e-nail coil in place is reversible, allowing for a slight difference in barrel coil width. Pretty awesome stuff. I had to play with it for about an hour to get comfortable with my setup including the airflow setting on the Storm Cell cap.

EDIT: Regarding an adapter and keeping the heat away from glass: it seems unnecessary IMO since the joint seems to get warm rather than hot. I'm still using one for the moment to gauge the difference in reclaim accumulation but then I'll ditch the cumbersome thing, I think.

So the v3 will be more expensive than v2 when it comes out,
but it accommodates a larger dish as well as a flat heating coil?

That is my understanding but the V2 can be upgraded to the V3 by buying the dish and insert.

Yes. I have a custom flat coil made to the specs Josh sent me so that it will fit the V3.
