I use just hash in my WPA all the time. Throw a chunk in there, turn the heat up a little more than if you were using flowers, hit it to get it soft and pliable, stir it around, go to town!

So I've been kinda lazy and just using the transfer wand for about 5 or 6 days. I kinda lightly puff on it when I use it. Tonight, I thought to go with the bong again....................Holy Mother of God !! I TOTALLY forgot how much I monitored how big of a hit to take. I just didn't do that this time, and shit............. !! Fucking lungs expanded and I exhaled enough vapor to fill up a fucking room. Thought my eyes were gonna pop outta my head.
Just for that, I gave her a kiss before putting her back in her bag. Actually, I really didn't do that, but I thought about it......

So, I have to give credit to @lwien . I had never given a lot of thought to his tiny amounts/big hits concept because I had already settled into a routine. Load up at least .5 gr or more, moderate heat and just hit it all night long as I wanted.
Well, last night I loaded up a tiny amount, turned the heat up just a bit and hit it all in one toke.
It was as close to a dab hit as I have ever had from green. I can only imagine that it was close to Sub level extraction/effect.

Hey guys just purchased an LSV for health issues and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on hitting it. I'm not sure I'm using it correctly and after trying all the tips I can find I'm currently stuck.
My routine has been cranking it all the way up for 5 minutes and then loading about 1/2 way unpacked. Turn the knob to two o'clock and start drawing it at a slow pace.
I usually end up getting frustrated and just cranking it to max and it seems like I'm on the verge of combusting. Any thoughts?

Are you using the transfer wand or a water pipe? How far is your heating element pulled out (what can you read on the element)? Is your material properly cured and ground? What effects are you noticing at 2 o'clock compared to max? What are you plugged into (a power strip or it's own outlet)? Are you living within the US with a proper 110V unit?

I'm using the wand. I also have a whip but haven't used it yet.
I'm not sure how to answer the question about the heating element, but a picture of it is here:

The material is cured and I use a standard grinder. When it's at 2 o'clock I seem to hardly get any smoke, but when I put it on max there is definitely more smoke, but I tend to choke a lot which I'm not sure if that's supposed to be happening.
I'm plugging into a standard US outlet.

Well I sent my LSV in for Maintenance. They sent it back with a tracking number USPS priority mail $50 insurance. The tracking number hasn't been updated in 5 days and just shows it leaving Colorado. Called the USPS and they said they couldn't give me any more update than the website. I have contacted 7th floor. I hope they will help me out. Not really sure what I am entitled too... if anything.

Can you get a picture of the writing on the ceramic element? It appears your element is also leaning and touching the glass heat cover. This may be causing a problem.
I am so used to using the LSV with a water pipe that when I use the wand I find that I have to go easy on how hard I huff otherwise I start to get slight irritation of my throat.
From the picture it appears that a lot of material is falling out of the ground glass joint of the wand and landing on your heater cover screen. Is this the case?

The flavor is pretty good for how powerful this vaporizer is.
I will make a stand for it and use it like a SSV.

So I normally use the LSV with the wand and have been taking 1-2 hit pinches of weed. It is slightly uncomfortable to have to invert the LSV and hit it like God is feeding me a baby's bottle. I also bought the EQ screens to try and be able to hold the LSV normally, but like lwien, it did not work well at holding the weed where it needed to be for it to vaporize efficiently.
My q is, has anyone found any other methods for hitting a small pinch of weed comfortably with the wand?
Im thinking of taking the EQ screen I have and trying to push it into a conical shape (kinda like an ELB that comes to a point). Anyone have any thoughts on this? Do you think it will work? What would be the best way to try and mold it?
Btw, I do also use the WPA, but when I want to go do something physical I just like taking a quick toot before I go. Thanks in advance.

Unpacked and ready to go! Have a few questions. What 'o clock should I set this at? How long to warm up? Where do you lay it while it is heating, I have a trivet, should I lay it on there while warming? I put the screen into my shorty WPA, packed a bit, a pinch, and am ready to go, looking for advice. Plugged into standard US outlet no power strip. About to try out my also new Mobius 60B!
Lastly, what is the other piece that came with it? It looks similar to the WPA, but has a globe in the center and a Male and Female on either side.

Thanks a bunch! I was at 3 and think I could back off a bit. It hit really well, but even when I tried dabbing, I don't seem to be able to 'milk' it like some people, but am satisfied with it. I don't want to be out of my gourd, but wonder if there is technique involved in milking, or is it just tons of smoke.

exactly... it is for dry use at the end of the normal transfer wand. The keck clip is to hold it together but not truly needed.
Are you talking about this?
I use it between my LSV and the Vaper Tamer. Works very, very well.

I get it, it's not for use with a glass bong, it's for use with the transfer wand, or for me when I am traveling.
