Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

I am highly considering getting an LSV (after they improve the cord issue and have colors options available); but I have a few questions.

How does the bowl size compare to the SSV/ Da Buddha ground glass wand?

I assume that the hits are nearly identical in thickness (vapor to air ratio) of the LSV compared to the SSV/ Da Buddha. Is this correct? I was a cigarette and cannabis smoker for about 25-30 years and as of now I need big, thick vapor hits.

I did read through this entire forum and my next issue was mentioned a few times but not as of late.

I will generally only use the LSV with the wand (I may hook it up to my EHLE bong a few times a year) so my biggest concern is, when using the wand setup (possibly nearly vertical) how much of an issue is particles getting through the screen on the HC and falling onto the heating element?

Thank you

"Bowl" size is the same.. and the hits can be identical .... very true.
Partices do not get through to the HC. There is a separate screen there!

I just posted this in the Customised Glass Setups thread:
Check out what I just got in the mail: :D
...
...
...
And some adapters I got from GhostCat on BM.

A male to male 18mm piece for use as a LSV WPA - Its got a restriction in the middle and mini ice pinches like the regular LSV WPA.
It's kinda hard to actually get a screen in it though, I had to use a small screen originally for my solo stems. I didn't like how it sits though, so I also Added a SSV screen in the male joint just like the old style SSV GonG wands.

A 45 degree 18mm adapter, which I've also added a screen to the male joint like a SSV GonG Wand, so it can be used as a LSV WPA for DI pieces.

...
I'm really quite liking that 45 degree one for my DI pieces :)

My LSV should be arriving today. Not sure what to expect. I purchased it to review. I have not had time but I need to go through this entire thread now. I also picked up the GonG bowl adapter as well. I must say I like the look of this device, it reminds me of a VHW with a protective metal core. Has anyone tried the VHW and the LSV, and could offer some insight in to how they compare/contrast?

The VHW was not a favorite of mine... it was about like the MagickWand to me, only more breakable, and hotter to the touch.
I did get huge rips from the VHW, but very hard to share, or trust folks with it.
The LSV out performs the VHW in my opinion... in every way!.
And it is easy to share , even with noobs.

I haven't tried the VHW, but the LSV is my favourite vape :)
I use it pretty much exclusively with the WPA (I've got 2 14mm and 1 18mm, and then those new ones I posted above:tup:).
I gave the short and standard wand a shot, and came to the same conclusion I've come to with every vape - I prefer it through water.

I'd actually be interested in a VHW LSV comparison too. It's one of a few vapes still on my want-to-try list.
EDIT:
Thanks Vito, I like hearing that you think it outshines the VHW

Alright so I've had a lsv for about a year now and its been completely perfect to me until recently. the wear and tear on the wire is showing even though the shit still hits like a charm. i read some stuff about the newer models having some sort of wire protector. I have the original so is there some sort of homemade fix for the wire?

Do you mean your wires are exposed at the base? I am super cautious with my cord... I would honestly start by just wrapping it in electrical tape... The next step would be (not with electrical tape under it) to add a few layers of heat shrink wire sleeve... I used to use that shit on my harley.... Lemmie tell you if it can take the heat from a v twin on a 102F day it can take the temps at the base of the unit... I would chooae the heat shrink over rhe tape cause the adhesives get gummy... I think there is even a wrap for cords that is based on strething it to get it to attach to itself ... No heat or adhesive required... But all these can be found in electric dept. At hardware store... Now back to my wand!

You could add a strain relief like this one.

yeah there's about a couple millimeters of exposed wire and its all really loose (if i jerk on it a little, it gets worse. I can also stick it back in but it will eventually come out.)
I fucking love this vape, its my first and I want it to be my last, so i'll check out some of the stuff you're talking about.

Hi guys, I already browsed through this thread a bit, but it's pretty huge.
Anyways, I'm about to buy a LSV and I'd like to ask all you LSV-owners what sort of problems/issues have emerged with the LSV.
I read about the outer wires wearing out, but I think that's fixable.
I would be mainly concerned about stuff in the airpath, but I didnt find complains or problems in that area.
Yep, so any arguments against buying one now?

Thank you a lot in advance!

Is there any information on min/max temperature reached by the LSV?
Or some observations on what dial settings correspond to what temperature?
I tried a thread search, but didnt find anything.
Thanks!

Same as the other 7th floor vapes (SSV and DBV).... this is a pure vaporist tool without "settings"
The element can get as hot as 900 degrees Far.
You adjust this to your liking using your own instincts.

Vitolo, your videos are so nice every time. Hehehe, your clouds definitely sold me on a LSV as my second vape.

If it is clouds you love, the LSV can certainly do that!
I save the LSV for a cloudy day (that is when I need to make the day cloudy!)

Lol excellent way of putting it Vitolo. I wonder if local retailers stock the LSV around here. I'll check next week.

Hey SLiM, been a while since you received yours...have you been using it? Does anyone know if there is a VapeXhale Cloud vs LSV comparison review either in this thread or the VXC thread?
