Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

You are very welcome sir! Please report back once you've had a chance to use it.
It's made taking vapor bong hits more efficient.
I'm not sure if it would be best for dry vaping, since the heat source is closer creating higher temp vapor. But i think most people with this vape realize the LSV's best use is paired with a bong.

I'm super high as I type this from two bowls lol.

Anyone know of an inexpensive well made torch that will work with a VapCap as well as the Elev8r?

Does the LSV stay cooler with the new shorter ventilation section because you are able to turn the temperature down, or does the shorter ventilation section prevent the LSV from diffusing the heat as well as the original longer vent section?

Hello again, don't want you to think I am stalking you lol but... this is impossible. You will never find a torch that works with both. You need a sperate and suitable torch for each or there is no point and you will miss out on the experience of the vaporizers and get inferior (or superior, in a bad way) results.

I'm guessing because you can turn the heat down.

I run both my SSV and LSV at the same power settings (60%) and never had an issue with my LSV heating up. It depends on the characteristics of your heater cover (internal volume, air inlet size, outlet size).

if it is extremely cold, I like a gradual heat up (a bit at a time) and I like to shut it down the same way.

I've kept this in mind since I read it and now do it all the time on my SSV even from room temperature, as it's a practice that makes great sense with ceramics.
Sometimes part of me wishes I didn't read it as it takes a little extra concentration but it will be well worth it if it keeps the heater in great shape for longer!

I looked up some ramp step kiln control type items and the cheapest set up was around 150 bucks and bulky, so I'll continue to do it manually for now!
Always remembering the last OFF step!
Thanks for all the tips @Vitolo

If you are concerned about temperature changes, why not just leave it turned on 24/7? I'm sure that it would be wise to gradually heat it up...especially if your unit has been outside in the dead of winter, is ice cold, and you haven't given it time to reach room temperature. To be honest I've never done either...in fact I do just the opposite...I crank mine all the way up to get it to heat up faster, and then turn it down to my sweet spot that I marked. When I'm done with the SSV I've NEVER turned it down gradually, I just turn it off. My SSV is from 2009 and still going strong. I've never had a problem other than the time I accidentally lowered my hospital bed onto the power cord and cut damaged the power cord. :( I had to send it in to 7th Floor for a new power cord which was no big deal, and actually turned out to be a great thing because Steve at 7th Floor not only replaced the power cord (which I paid for), he also surprised me by upgrading my SSV with the newer easy change heater cover bracket. He even popped a new heater cover on before sending it back to me. He didn't even charge me for the bracket or heater cover. I absolutely love the improved heater cover bracket...its so simple to change heater covers without the hassle of putting in shims.

I ADORE all of the people at 7th Floor and Elev8! What a WONDERFUL group of creative, artistic and compassionate people.

p.s. If you want to make your SSV shine like brand new; I found that using Maguires Ultimate Synthetic Polymer Car wax works incredibly well! It never dries chalky white like regular car wax, and removes minor scratches as well as restoring the showroom shine to the entire unit including the base.

I know, I'm so tempted to go back to just whacking it on. Or even as the instructions say (I think) to turn it up higher than your setting first, then down.
I'll see what suits me over time!

Gifted, skilled and generous people they deserve reward and recognition for their work in pure, effective vaporizer systems.
I'm really excited after they said they had more to come for 2018 following their latest Elev8r release!!:o:science::sherlock:

Wow, I did not know that! Well done.
And one thing is also for sure, they have the vapor quality per dollar sector completely sewn up!
Don't really need to spend/vas anymore once you've got your 7th floor experience dialed in!

Showing the LSV some love this weekend since it’s 420 and I forgot what a beast this thing is when you crank up the heat. Great bong vape!!!

I wish @7thFloorVapes wouldn’t reduce the hole between the bowl and the male connection on the bong bowls. I think it would eliminate most hot spot issues, allowing for a larger area of air to flow around the weed.

The SABER is very powerful!

Just got one of the cosmetic defect units second hand, excited to try it out! I'm going to order the WPA with it, as it didn't come with the wand. Any tips for a first time 7th Floor user?

Thanks!
Congrats on joining the LSV club! I've had mine for almost 4 years I use it 5 times a week on average. I only use it paired with a bubbler/bong. Massive, flavorful vapor-bong hits!

My suggestion is to not get the WPA through 7th floor.
@DDave makes a better/more efficient WPA that uses little metal baskets for your herb and brings it closer to the heat source. It really helps with getting the heat evenly distributed in the bowl.

Also, they now make a shorter heater cover now. I recently purchased it and am loving it. It essentially reduces the air path length and is less cumbersome to hold.

What are you using for glass and how are you hooking it up? its easiest with a section of whip but without the whip you get less resistance.

a whip with the LSV is easiest? I never tried that. I always thought it was pretty easy to use the Spherical Ground Glass bowl.
