Thanks for the vid, EE, but man, that looks kind of cumbersome to use, eh?

My friend has one, and his LSV came with the water-pipe adapter (the actual one from the site), and its SUPER easy to use, way better than this method. I just got my LSV from VapeWorld, and apparently they don't give you the actual adapter, they give you a VaporBrothers hose adapter :/

Once I get the actual adapter (another $30) I will post some better vids with better lighting, quality. I just felt like doing it out of the blue

Another option is the use a ground glass whip form the SSV or DBV and hook that up to the LSV. Then you can use a ground glass water adapter from 7th Floor to hook it up to your water pipe.

There are a lot of possibilities... But I just use the water pipe adapter that came with the LSV. I know, I know, the plant material is so far from the heating element, but it's never given me any problems.

I agree with you ssvrichard. The herb is far from the element with the water pipe adapter, but I have never felt it is a huge problem. You just need to make sure to milk your piece, it just takes SLIGHTLY more skill then just ripping your piece.

Yeah, maybe the herb being further is to accommodate the fact people milk bongs slowly, it always ends up being even slower than you think compared to whip or wands. When I get my LSV back I will test this, maybe my complaints about the herb being too far should be thrown out the window because I had a defective LSV anyways, it was running cool. When I get my new one soon i will input.

@ Raf007 do you have a 220V version or a 110V with a F EEC 4/7(german) plug?

So the LSV is more conservative than the SSV, even if both had arizer dome screens? Has anyone tried arizer screens with the LSV yet?

Do you mean putting the elbow pack screen at the end of the wand and hitting it? If so I have tried it but you cant push it in all the way or the screen would get caught in the heater cover. BUT for some reason you can pack any amount in the wand and it hits fat. I tried as little as 1 PD stem(.025) and it gets many hits. And also you can pack it down in the normal wand to get the elbow pack effect, or crush it up in hand and then suck it up which packs it down hard for a final strong hit.

I usually pack .05 though, seems like the perfect amount for a single person.

Yes that's what I meant Nosferatu, thanks for the information! One, thing, I don't understand what you mean by packing herb in the normal wand for the "elbow pack effect"? I'm really stuck between getting one of these bad boys and waiting for the vapexhale, getting both isn't an option for me. Obviously this isn't limited to water pipe use like the xhale is, and this is probably more efficient. Hard to weigh out the pros and cons of a device that isn't out yet. :(

Weighted .025? How many is many hits? :D I know totally unmeasurable as we all have different hits... but more or less...
This is really interesting. I really think .05 is also the solo perfect amount on my SSV; .025: 4 pulls max...
I have to test better my friend's LSV, it didn't feel any different from my SSV on the conservative side!

elbow packing in ssv= really thick vapor and a few hits, and you can move the wand around to vape everything evenly in an efficient way.

LSV with small load = hairy hits, vapor not as thick, therefore more hits. Takes longer to vape evenly.
Got a try this elbow pack on the wand though...maybe tomorrow....

Alright, got a LSV just because I was itching for a new toy. I do like hits from the wand, very thick, very tasty, but i really wish 7th Floor would have added some tick marks for the temp dial. Oh well.

Other concerns, as soon as i unscrewed the top cover, a little metal strip fell out. Maybe just jammed in with the bottom metal piece to try and keep the glass heater cover my stable? My biggest concern is the glass heater cover is loose, and bounces a bit inside the casing. Also, it doesn't line up perfectly.

My biggest concern is that if i try and take the metal top off the LSV the glass heater cover will fall off if turned upside down... How the heck can one hit this wand using glass if the very hot and extremely breakable glass heater cover can fall off when upside down? Sorry if this has been brought up, but it seems to be a big issue. Any solutions or is this just part of a bad design in regard to being used as a heat wand? Thanks

I am assuming like other 7th Floor products that that thin metal strip is a shim to keep the glass piece on the ceramic heating element. Might be wrong, but if it is anything like the SSV or DBV, that little metal strip may be important.

I assumed the same, didn't realize all their products used a little strip to keep the heater cover in place. Pretty primitive if you ask me. Oh well, i guess i'll get out my LSV and try and figure out the best way to use the strip to keep everything as tight as possible, or even see if it will help.

*Edit: After not much effort, i was able to use the metal strip to shim the heater cover, and it now seems to be solid, without any wobbling. It takes some effort and twisting to put the cover on and off, but seems to be satisfying to me as long as it doesn't just randomly fall off when upside, but this seems unlikely. Primitive? Yes. Effective? Yes, or at least it does appears to be at first glance.

Some HC need two shims, maybe ask 7th floor to send you one

I use the LSV with bubbler most of the time for the filtration but I get better taste and effiency with the transfer wand.

Got my LSV from vapeworld about a month ago. Was working just like a DBV/SSV but MUCH easier to use. Now, it seems to run cooler and not hit AS well, but still does the job. This seems to be a problem for a few customers of this vaporizer...

damn I hope 7th Floor can get on top of this issue and fix it so I can have some peace of mind ordering this thing!(possibly)

SSV w/ Standard HC, LSV HC, thermovape all,
What if you made a stand and set the LSV on an angle similar to the SSV, and fit an SSV 90 degree heater cover over the element on the LSV, or one similar, I know a guy who can make me one, if the SSV heater cover is too short ( or bend a LSV HEATER COVER to a 90). then you could also use it just like a Silver Surfer as well
has the same internals as the silver surfer, and the heating element look the same, the glass heater cover looks similar on the LSV just straight not bent at a 90 degree angle as on the SSV.
That would make it extra GREAT
I have been looking at them both, but leaning towards the LSV for this reason
ANY THOUGHTS??? or coments

You dont need a different heater cover, just mount the LSV at an angle. Check out the flexbar table vise I posted on page 18. (I always use mine hand held and gave up on mounts)

Lately my LSV has been burning small spots in different parts of the waterpipe adapter bowl. i used to take even longer hits with out this problem, but now after like 4 bloads it always burns a spot somwhere. I know the temps not too high because Iv'e toned the temp down from where I'd normally vape since this started. it also started when I got a new heater cover. So I dont know what the problem is.

EDIT: I realized its because my new heater cover has a tiny hole before the gong, my old broken one has a much bigger one. I JB Welded my shattered one. The JB is rated up to 600 degrees. So is it safe to inhale through this thing? Because I dont like my new heater cover, not to mention its too long, not allowing me to even screw the tip on to the LSV, thats strait up annoying

I just got my LSV from VapeWorld (awesome service as usual - i was sent a whip adapter by accident instead of the LSV adapter, VapeWorld is already working on taking care of it.). I am already blown away by this thing- the transfer wand hits are so visible I was scared I was combusting, even though they were smooth. Wasn't burning though, I'm just not used to vapor this strong without water filtration (my Supreme hits as heavy but I only use it with water devices).

Haven't tried the LSV with a water pipe yet . If it hits as good that way, this'll be my new go-to (at least until VXC finally comes out). After a lot of research I got this to replace my broken Vrip VHW 2. Can't wait to see how it compares on my glass. Need the right adapter though - couldn't get any vapor trying the LSV with my Vrip VHW bowl. Decent fit but not a seal, kind of far from the herbs.

Anybody know if the adapter VapeWorld ships is currently the same as the one you can order directly from LSV? If not, is one better than the other?

My friend had the same problem with vapeworld, I dont think they will ever send you the real waterpipe adapter, just more of the same whip thing. They saifd they dont carry them when he had the problem, like a month ago, even though they wasted his time saying they are shipping one.

How the hell do i get the stupid screen to stay in the wand been trying for 20min it just won't stick

Spoke to VapeWorld, they admitted they don't have the right adapter, say they're going to get it and send it. We'll see. I went ahead and ordered one from 7th Floor, when I mentioned I was ordering it because VapeWorld had sent me the wrong thing, the person said they'd just had a call from them about it. So maybe they;ll get it right.

I was able to use the transfer wand with a water pipe for now, just put a rubber grommet on the end. Its cumbersome, but man it gave a righteous smooth hit. I don't see why their water pipe adapter isn't just the transfer wand bowl with the appropriate size GonG connection on the other end. Would look weird but it'd work.

That would be a better design, IMO but the bowl would be much smaller.

I have not personally had any issues with the LSV changing temp, and VapeWorld was a pleasure to deal with. Great site.
