After having my solo for a few months i now decided it's time for a more powerful vape. I first had trouble choosing between the LSV and the E-Nano. But after some research i decided to join the LSV thread after all it's a decent affordable plug-in vaporizer. Which you can easily combine with any water tool. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I find the LSV is be powerful and the flavor profile is very nice.
SOLO's I have 3 of them one of them is 2 1/2 years old.
There are other good choices of course.
The SOLO is so easy to use.
I also have a NANO and the small foot print makes it pair well with glass.
Flavor wise it's one of the best!

However I'm super glad to own a LSV.
If I need heavy medication the LSV will knock you out!

I love all my vaporizers and will get even more.

To sell any of them would be wrong!

Each vaporizer has a different use.

The SOLO is portable (taste & effect) are not bad.

The LSV FLAVOR & EFFECT are very powerful at the price point it sells for!

Very different!

Yeah, also seems to be the only place where I can get a 220V version. After speaking with 7th Floor earlier a plug-adapter wouldn't work so a 110V version would be no good. Anyone have good experiences buying it directly from them?

Edit: Would anyone happen to know what their "Flat rate fixed $20" shipping is? Sorry if I am getting off-topic asking about shops btw.

So just to confirm a stepdown converter wouldn't work then? I had a Japanese sega Saturn that needed one of those. One day coming home drunk I plugged in the wrong power cable and it then popped and wouldn't power on after that unsurprisingly.

A step down converter would work (assuming it outputs the right voltage), but a plug adapter wouldn't.

IMO you're better off getting the LSV in whatever voltage your local grid is, since it really is quite portable for a plugin. Having to move another piece of equipment along with it would make it that little bit more cumbersome.

Though I guess if you have a dedicated vape station, or already have a step down converter for other stuff, its not a bad setup at all, just a bit less desirable IMO.

Cool well I might invest in it then myself as I had been weighing this up on eBay as worked out as £120 cheaper than me getting a 240 V thats in the UK as the eBay seller will often mark such items as a gift thus avoiding import tax.I still have the step down adapter but it is cumbersome and would make things slightly more inconvenient.

I appreciate the advice, so to my fellow vapers outside US and Canada when ordering from 7th floor direct how have you found postage times and import tax costs?I read on there site orders are processed within 6days so guessing could take 3 weeks to arrive maybe.

When you get it wear a clean set of pajamas and put some fresh sheets on your bed!

Shipping I know nothing about however I do know LSV kicks butt!

I'm looking at buying a new vape. I currently have the PN Pro, but I'm in the market for a desktop/non-portable one. It's a toss up between the LSV and the SSV. The pros of the LSV are that I could theoretically haul it around easier than the SSV and I could bring it to a friend's house or somewhere else. Now, I really like vaping with my bong as well as the PN Pro water tool. They're both 14mm and I feel like a desktop is really going to increase the vapor quality as compared to the PN Pro. Does anyone have experience with both the SSV and LSV and have any opinions on which one is the better all-around contender?

They are equally portable neither is stealthy but you have that covered. Both are tremendous powerhouses, if you want one on 24/7 go with SSV as LSV tends to get real hot after a longer period of time. If you prefer direct attachment to pipes like your PnP get the LSV.

How long does it take to get hot? I mean two 7 minute sessions with the Pro will get me roasted so I'm not too worried about 30 minute long sessions. However, the lsv is all glass and if it produces equal, if not better vapor, I don't see why I'd spend 150 extra bucks on the ssv.

LSV can warm up to vaping temps within a few minutes it's not a bad wait like maybe some logs. But like said logs I believe I know my LSV better and get more rewarding hits after its been warmed up for a bit.

Oh! I meant how long does it take to get unbearably hot to hold?

That depends on your pain threshold, how you store it in between hits, etc. but you can make a stand and lower the temp down and it will be fine, not a huge deal like it might seem.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
It takes quite a while before it gets too hot. Also, at 12 oclock on the dial where I do most of my vaping it never gets that hot. Just if I forget and leave it on high.

Also, standing it up or hanging on a hook eliminates the problem completely.

For me, I found it gets pretty warm after about 20 to 25 minutes but not too hot to hold. Also, being that 2 to 3 hits from the LSV gets me to where I want to be, I rarely leave it on for that long.

It's a circular base so there's no difficulty standing it up is there haha?

Actually, yeah. You have to build a base or jury rig it as the cord sticks out the bottom.
Oh I see. So that's a downside.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the base and cord? I can draft something up in Solidworks and have it 3D printed.

Do most of you just lay it down then?

I'm not sure on the dimensions but here is my stand (thanks again Alan!)...before I had this I would just hang it from a screw on the wall.

I think the ssv is more versatile as far as different uses (aroma, oil kit),
while the lsv is a bit more transportable and can be used directly with glass.
Also the ssv is better for leaving turned on, so can be always at the ready.
