Black Friday is on November the 29th this year.
Sorry about the abbreviations. The LSV heater cover has an 18mm female joint on the inside and a male spherical joint(the ball in a ball and socket joint) on the outside. As is shown here:
This means it can mate with either a female spherical joint(socket in a ball and socket joint) or an 19mm male joint. The LSV WPA(water pipe adapter) has a female spherical joint at one end and either a 19mm or 14mm male at the other which fits into your water pipe. The short or shorty version is shown below(my personal preference as it keeps the herb nice and close to the heater).
Since the LSV has a hot spot in the middle most people "swirl" the LSV in the socket to distribute the heat more evenly through the load. I'll look for a video to demonstrate this.
Alternatively you can use an 18-18 male adapter(or 18-14 if your water pipe is 14mm) and stir the load between hits using the provided pick. Stirring is still recommended with the WPA but isn't required to be done as frequently.
The 18-18 male adapter is shown above and the 18-14 male adapter is shown below.
It's also worth noting that one of these adapters would be needed to use the LSV with a hydratube/watertool, which one depends on the size of the fitting.
@
Vitolo Do you use the 14mm at the LSV end to get the heater closer to the load or is your water pipe 14mm?
Edit: Here is a video I found of the famous LSV "swirl" in action, courtesy of @

2nd Edit: Please note I have used 18mm and 19mm interchangeably as in both cases I am referring to the standard 18.8mm GonG size.
