There's no escape from it, have you tried the ELB method?

I'm not combusting. There are more shades of brown that you can go down to before combustion begins to take place. I take mine down to a dark coffee brown before the taste starts going bad and still able to produce vapor.

Have never tried the ELB method.

Well, my experience is different, when I removed the golden ABV and tried it with the normal method at full heat I got no vapor, and when I tried it on the solo I gotten no vapor as well...
So what if it wasn't dark black? keep in mind that there's also flash in this picture.
Golden can be spent till the end just like dark black...
Anyway, the taste was incredible and the herb lasted a long long time...

EDIT: I remember getting more vapor using the solo after a cloud session...

That's weird. If that's the case, than I'd say you need to make some adjustments to either the heater cover or the heating element, or both. If I turned my LSV up to max, I would definately go into combustion and my ABV would be turning black with white ash.

Well when I vape at with the wand, the herb gets much darker...but IMO the end taste quite bad...

Now, I'm trying again and my herb goes look too bright and I managed to get few hits with the solo...hmm I guess the herb doesn't get as hot when its inside the ELB...but only few hits- anyway I take it back, I think I didn't mean golden its just the flash but yeah I managed to get it a bit darker yesterday but its hard to get it as hot as with the normal method(which makes it more classy less thick tho).

Anyway, it would probably be better to keep the wand inside the heating chamber all time and remove it just for shaking, in an upright position... the clouds may shrink a bit but the taste is better.

I have noticed there are times when the LSV won't cook my bowl any more even though it is plenty light enough. But then there are other times when I end up with a burnt spot in the middle of the herb. The dark spot is fine...just stir and keep on trucking. But the other issue stops me dead in my tracks. for instance, that kief load I just vaped is still sitting there because I can't get it any darker than a light brown. I was thinking of putting into my mflb to finish it off. That kief load got started on about ten and I worked my way up to one o'clock before it stopped producing vapor.

btw...when I changed the screen in the wpa there was a ring of gunk under there that reminded me of wand hash from the SSV. if you haven't been there yet, check it out!

So I still have some of that hash but it's in a hard ball. I warmed it up with a lighter and used a razor but its still I small chunks. I had some of it in a powder form which vapes the best, my question is how do I get it in a powder form?

I've been playing with my VXL ELBs the last day or 2.

My results have been

My vapor is definitely whispier/thinner than the standard WPA, or my male-male with a screen in it WPA.
I'll have to knock up a diagram in paint, but I think its because the sides of the elb aren't touching the inside of the GonG joint, it only really makes contact with the lip. So the heated air can go in through the cap, then out the sides above the load.

A fun bonus is packing the cap and using it very similarly to the elbow pack EQ users would be familiar with, but I found going back to the stock WPA was giving me better hits.

I didn't try it in the transfer wand, just my M-M adapter, but I don't really ever plan on using the transfer wand, so there's not too much point testing it out

Now, to continue testing

Well, surely the hits are less big and thick, but didn't you find the taste to be better?
Perhaps if it fitted perfectly it would have worked better?

The taste lasted longer, but since it was more diluted, its kinda a wash.
Kinda like how a water piece can strip some flavour from a hit, but provide a larger hit, so the hit as a whole is tastier.

I also was able to take my bud further in the stock WPA...

I hit it till it quit in the ELB, then dumped it out into the WPA and got another couple of clouds.

I'm sure there'll be a way to integrate these elbs somehow... Just gotta find it

Keep on searching...I can only afford few sessions a week
I haven't used water in such a long time I miss it
But the transfer wand taste is very different using the ELB method, less thick more hits and perhaps better cooking...

I am enjoying the normal method...damn the LSV is quick...
I sat with my GF at our awesome balcony, enjoying the nice breeze from the beach... I completely lost contact with her in the middle of the session ... enjoying a fresh herb from my local dude ...
On the side note,PV finally sent me new bubbler and new custom 18-18male male custom adapter, I can't wait to try it

Aww man... I ordered some ELBs on the weekend. They arrived today. I've broken both my male/male adapters trying to fit the top edge of the screen in. Ping. Both lips just snapped, I should have given up when the first one broke.
