Laser Engraved VapCap Tips

Thought it might be nice to have a thread just for VapCap tip art. There are quite a few pictures of tips that have been done and suggestions in the VapCap thread, but they're kind of hard to find.

Right now, an engraved tip is a modest upcharge of $5 to use an existing pattern. It must already be loaded into the equipment at DynaVap. A $15 charge to add your own (to add it into the laser cutter), but once you do it is available to anyone else for the $5.

After a nice wake & vape on my OMNI this morning, I tried to grab pics of all the known and shown patterns. I also grabbed suggestions I could find, and added a few I've been playing with below.

Please contribute to this thread - either by adding pictures (or better pictures if any of these are yours!) or suggestions.

Welcome to my world of pain! I finally got my VAS under control, only to battle with GAS. Chilled out there, but VCAS is the worst yet! Damned George with all his cool shit and awesome tweaking.

Which patterns are currently available by DynaVap? I was unable to find them on their website.

As far as I know, any pattern is "currently available". Difference is price. $15 for a new pattern - probably anything you want as long as it can be laser cut on to a very small surface. Defer to Matt @ DV for confirmation. Any patterns that have already been produced (already laid out in laser cutting program @ DV) are currently $5.

So, any caps you see actual photos of should be available for that exceptionally reasonable low price - because George & DV are AWESOME! Hopefully, this thread and increased requests won't change that. Process is to request the engraving and add $5 to your order for VC or tip. I even got a mandala one on an OG for a Christmas present. My friend loved getting a VC (she had used mine a couple times), and had utter joy when she noticed the engraved cap.

For anyone wondering.... I'll be requesting some type of SYF logo soon and ponying up for the programing. So, it should be available soon for the lower price.

I like the thread, and I'm not trying to nitpick, but I believe it's the cap that we E taking about, not the tip. I think the lad or lass, @Godspeed was trying to ask was about a list of all the engravings that have already been added by customers, thus only 5$.
They might be better off having a specific set of graphics for one price and anything custom is another. The current model is obscure. They are growing so fast, it's so exciting. I know I need a custom cap.

Check first post above.... Pretty sure I picked up pictures of all patterns that have appeared in the VC thread and included them there. There may be some that were never posted there. Hoping someone from DV will add info here, but if not I'll ask Matt soon.

Little question: are caps laser engraved weakened by the laser carving or it is so superficial there is no impact on durability of the cap?

Had some idea's myself, but some of these would need to be cropped to be round offcourse.
I like space and urban theme's but finding designs wasn't easy.

Really like this one as well, but I think the lazer colourations are not possible to give the same strenght as the water colouring.

A tromp de l'oeil, but kinda looks kinda like the death star as a bonus!

If these could be cropped and rounded, that would be magnificent, but I think it's too much detail.

I love to paddle board in the weekend, and this drawing reminds me of my trips to Slovenia to paddle the most beautiful lake I've ever paddled myself, in the Bohinj nature park.

But next time I'll be there with a lovely dynavap, that by the way is on it's way! Wooooh! Can't wait!!

I don't have the skills to find and add the images, but I have 2 suggestions if someone will help me out:

1) a pig head from Angry Birds, as an homage to @phattpiggie

2) MC Escher images - in particular, a cropped image of his crystal ball self portrait. But there are so many..,

How much vapcaps does it take to collect them all?

However, I see a lot of pictures here, that may not be possible with their laser.
I'll share with you some input that Matt gave me, as for current custom order I had to make the picture myself.

The picture need to be in black and white(as back and white as possible, gray scale can be problematic), in good quality if there's fine details (but not too much details as the laser isn't Monet's hands ahah), round shape and whitout too much black area, as the laser can burn through them.
On a personal note, I make my picture on a png extention, in order to use transparency and let aside the white (half the work yeah! )

Of course steps like making a picture shape's round or turn it in black and white may be handle by Matt or Eric but I can't tell you about that, as I do on all the work to ease the process on their side (feeling guilty about all the extra work that I put on them maybe? )
