Depends how comfortable you are with packing it in. IMO I often fit 1/8 in my classic. I de-stem into smaller than popcorn size and puzzle pack it on in... I also don't mind smushing it in. I don't mind smushing as I figure the less air inside the Jyarz, the better. I'd rather pack that space with bud.


Vapes come and go. The storage container is not a fad. It is simply the best. I intend to get decades more use out of mine.

Lol no probs man, thanks for the detailed info, a don’t mind packing my herb a little with as you say as little air as possible left in the jyar for more bud, as long as I can pack an 8th for on the go I’m usually good for the day.

Over here in Scotland I’ve been using kilner jars (come in loads of sizes and my collection is out of hand according 2 wife), for years and well that and normal jars are very fragile for out and about, drop a normal jar on concrete your fucked. the Kilner jars are similar to the ball jars in America (apologies if your no a yank)

Thanks for the info my man, but does any one have actually weights the classics hold, aye a know am a bastard, quite specific.

Here is a pic with 2.1g - didn’t want to smush to much. I tried a few different strains and think it would be a tight fit for 1/8 for any of them. But small nugs would prob work.
Also just a note that I needed a toothpick to nudge out my slightly smushed strains.

Indeed, I only use my various Jaryz for ground herb. Buds are kept in airtight containers with 62% Boveda packs.

Yes, for ground weed, no problem getting 1/8 - although, later in the day, it will be hard to reach your goodies - but using VC as a direct-to-scoop will work for most of the day.

The “wee“ Jyarz are Chico‘s & are what I use to hold my ground bud - I can fit up to 1.7g (without smushing!) Orange is my fav.

I'd typically just de-stem something like that pic above. You don't so much have to smush to fit more, just break up into smaller pieces that fit/pack better.

Well you guy have made it clear this bastards buying some Jyarz, also they don’t have the colours available I’d like in my country, so was going to go for a black Jyarz classic (to start with) and put an orange coloured sleeve on it, so my question is whats everyone’s opinion on the sleeves if you have them or have ever used them? Liked or not?

classics are for on the go, and I’ll break the buds into smaller buds or pre grind. Or even use for a AVB container when out.

I still need to get the Big Pappy and a divider

What’s everyone’s thoughts from people who have and have used them on the sleeves for the classics ?, need to know as I’ll be pulling the trigger pretty soon on a vape accessories order and only want to make the 1 order without forgetting anything, pretty sure we all been thereend up paying fuckin postage twice haha

I’ve been keeping my tolerance low, using more edibles, and taking multiple days off, so if I grind up 1 gram and put it in my Chico, it’ll last me 3 or 4 weeks. I wish I could keep it fresher.

Right now I jam a boveda pack into my Jyarz Classics with unground buds and it works well enough. It’d be nice if we had a better solution though

You would probably be better off with the next size up... Satchmo, which would leave room for a Boveda #8 size. They make a tiny one, but it dries out way too soon. Good luck!

Air space is not all that significant, if the container seals well, once the proper humidity level is reached, the #8 packs settle nicely and seem to last months in my larger CVaults, and glass containers. You could try the tiny packs, I just didn’t have much luck with them, even in Satchmos. I use the Satchmos half full for stuff I’m going to use shortly, so I only fill them 1/2 way, and fold over the #8 packs right on top.

regarding sleeves, I've gone both ways but tend to use without for it feels slightly smaller in my pocket.

BUT I do find sleeves add a noteworthy layer of protection and insulation against falls/drops/hits.

Thanks bud might pick one up as the sleeves are cheap as shit anyway but thought best to ask the Jyarz community first, was worried the silicone material might make pulling in/out ur pocket a wee bit of a bastard u know, like some silicone is tacky or somewhat sticky u know ?.

Perhaps slightly, but it is not an obstacle... kinda like the difference between pulling a cellphone out of your pocket with a case on versus off.
