I spend a lot of time with combusters and among my friends I'm the only big vapor enthusiast. They all love it when I bring my extreme q over and fill some bags. I've found though that the people with more experience with vaporizers (my friends that have smoked my other vapes) tend to favor the whip a lot more whereas the bags are popular with people who have never vaped. I've also noticed a lot of dedicated whip users on FC and they tend to be the older members; with the bag users usually being new members looking to get into vaping.
So are whips for pros? The way I see it whips are like a stick shift car, a little bit more work but there's a lot more control, the bags are like an automatic transmission (I don't think I came up with this, it was in my head and I'm not sure from where)
With all of that said why do people still consider the Volcano the king of vaporizers? It seems to me like the Silver Surfer would have a better claim as it's much cheaper and if it delivers the way people says it does (better than the EQ whip) I can't even imagine how great it must be.
