Sry @smokum. This weekend sucked balls! Grenaded a wheel bearing on the SUV (press on style) so there went my Saturday. Then on Sunday my drains on my house plugged up AGAIN!!! Got that taken care of just in time to lose water pressure in the other end of my house. Got that taken care of and finally fired up the shop at about 8pm last night. Worked until around 9 this morning. Then caught my usual 4 hrs of sleep. All this with a giant throbbing lump on my jaw from the wisdoms I had pulled over 2 weeks ago now (not dry socket but I believe there's some sort of infection barreling towards my brain! lol). So yeah, quite the fuckover of a weekend. Got to spend all my time doing the things that I became a glassblower to get away from! Pretty sure ur gonna like what I came up with though. As always, Sry for the delays but, I'm trying to make everyone's wait well worth it.

I had one of my wisdom teeth extractions get infected as well, highly recommend getting that checked out. Better safe than sorry with that kind of stuff.

Bro, get that jaw looked at STAT ! I left issues too long in the past and now have chronic gum (jaw bone)decay beyond repair to thank for that & your way too young for that shit !

This winter has been rough all over it seems... glad you got your home issues sorted. My barn water pipe is shutdown til thaw, so hauling my disabled ass to provide for horses with house water is a bitch multi times per day. And the winds made some pole wires dance enough to surge my shop (unprotected), blowing out my new HID highbays last week... there goes another couple grand ffs

I prefer @NickDlow that you'd tweak pieces to you liking, and trust JoDa to respect as an artist to not 'exactly' COPY the works I'm commissioning as a personal collection set. But I certainly can't stop anyone from being a copy cat , though I'd be disappointed.

Just so everyone knows viewing these pieces being produced... It's commissioned work, which means I have no set $ cap beyond my deposit to get what I want. At the same time, I get to obtain some (obviously) stellar functional artwork while also providing JoDa, as a new up and coming artist (who I personally feel has a lot of talent still hidden), the opportunity to 'experiment' at my expense.

This is an experiment for us both... and I'm very pleased to have the opportunity.

JoDa~ Would it be possible to do a pinch in one of your gongs [or stems] to prevent the screen from falling too deep? As my screens have tired, they do not hold their shape like they used to and will move back and away from the heating element with even the slightest sucking pressure.

I've had this amber purple carbed gong for a while now but have never posted it. I have been waiting for a custom piece to go with it but things are taking longer than expected. Today I decided fuck waiting and I'm about to try it out on the FC-711. I have only dabbed out of this piece until now so I am excited to see how she handles the nano.

Getting healthier by the day. I have an apprentice. I do small mini tubes just not full blown rigs yet. There will be recyclers by summer though if I stay the coarse.
