I think this black leaf Downstem with integrated bowl is holding with a silicone grommet.
So it's really designed as a combustion piece.
Vaporizers makers converting into combustion paraphernalia right after legalization look like a very commercial move to me...

I have no idea how people get their lips around the Vapbong. Are you supposed to press it against your face, with your lips inside the rim, making a seal? If so I imagine this does not work for the bearded among us?

I'm terribly sorry for all the double entendres.

Exactly. This is how old-school ceramic bongs all were, and I guess most others based on tubes. I have some like this, incl the Vapbong, and the beard/mustache isn't a problem. It seals fine. : )

Haha yeah I prefer the longer more narrow OAB mouthpieces, more comfortable, but the VB wasn't bad not too wide I just didn't like the straight up bong style as much

I initially thought I would much prefer thr OAB. However I read the OG has more open airflow, which is the main draw for me, along with the huge bowl.

Does anyone use it dry?

Is it energy efficient once up to temp, like a ball vape, Volcano, log vape? Or does it continue to use a significant amount of energy? (We have the most expensive electricity in the world right now in UK)

I've tried it dry, but wasn't a big fan of it that way.

And I agree that from a straight airflow perspective, OG design is still king. I've got both OAB and the slide in drawer designs, and neither give that fill the tube vibe (hardly surprising, and they do still have great airflow characteristics of their own).

Eh, I don't think open air flow factors into the choice here in my mind at all, I don't find either of my OAB or even the mini to be restrictive? They all chug, simple downstem perc, depending on how much water you fill, you want restriction to help build the vapor easily here, if your power settings aren't super low, a fast draw is required, a short hit, with low settings like I used with mini a slow sip could be more possible (I would always go fast and hard and short on the larger ones personally)

The bowl size is the same between OAB or classic VB... So that shouldn't factor into your choice at all? You're not looking at minis...

Classic VB is like a classic bong, if you like that then go for it, I much prefer a bubbler for vaping personally so the OAB is much better for me, in the flow in use, and in the form factor

Does anyone use it dry?

That's been discussed here too, many people have, I've tried it many times, often at first and then loading the water for the rest of the bowl and remaining bowls of the session... Dry is not that rewarding because this is designed so well with a little bit of water for conditioning, that has its own complications with cleaning and changing, but the air flow using dry was also tricky for me? Didn't feel like much reward to using it dry with this particular vape honestly

It's like a log vape, or ball vape, yeah, I think, using low VVPS power, I have no idea what the actual power consumption from an energy perspective is sorry
