This is the guy who won today by the way:

I'm calling it here. Democrats will not change. They'll continue their same policy of offering literally nothing to voters that gave us two Trump terms. They've calculated (correctly, I think) that Trump will make such a mess out of things that voters will be desperate to take the nothing they'll offer in 2 and 4 years.

I think if you're blaming tens of millions of voters for the mess we're in, you are a very confused person. It would've been laughably easy to beat a literal billionaire Presidential candidate. The Democrats simply did not want to do it

@CANtalk do you guys have an FBI up there? Like the Mounties or something? Because I know where they can find a Canadian who is siding with Canada's enemy. That's treason.

I wish Canada and Mexico weren't so close to the United States. They're both advanced countries with legal weed. But they're too close so I wouldn't feel safe living there. Is weed legal in France?

Probably the most repressive state in Europe.
We still have some pretty good stuff when you know where to look.
Modern concentrates might be hard to come by, traditional hash is everywhere.

We have the best wine quality and variety in the world though. ;) And the best cheese also.

Anyway, you're most welcome in my house Florduh. Just hit me a PM when you land.

Honestly if tariffs can prevent goods from flying all over the world when you can find them right next to you maybe it's not such a bad thing ?

That's very kind! Sometimes when I'm high I look at houses in France on real estate websites. Now, I'm sure all of these houses are in the middle of nowhere. And I'm sure the maintenance costs are atrocious. But they're incredibly beautiful homes that cost less than a down payment in any major metro area in the United States.

I'm not even universally anti-tariff if they're implemented intelligently. But Trump's tariffs are extremely stupid. So far as I can tell, the only goal is to replace the Federal income tax with a de facto national sales tax. A regressive move that shifts the tax burden from the wealthy to the poor.

Doug Ford announces Ontario ban on American liquor in response to U.S. tariffs

Poof to $1 billion in US trade right there
"Every year, LCBO sells nearly $1 billion worth of American wine, beer, spirits and seltzers. Not anymore," said Ford in a statement Sunday morning.

WTF, I swear I'm living in the US ideocracy timeline.

This isn't just a trade spat. North America changed today
