It would be funny only if it ended the consideration of him for such a crucial job in the American government. It is not at all funny when it barely gives many decision makers pause. It is tragic and disgusting. And it says such terrible things about these decision makers that we all should be shitting our pants.

You need to realize I came of age when George W Bush was the President. A complete fucking dope who killed a million people based on bullshit. A guy who did more permanent damage than Trump. I haven't taken this country seriously since I was a child.

There were two brief periods when I had hope for America. From 2008-2009. But then it turned out Obama was a complete fraud. He's also the guy most responsible for Trump being a 2 term President.

Second: in February 2020. It looked like Bernie was sailing to the Democratic nomination. Then that piece of shit Obama came out of retirement to make that bag of bones Biden the President.

I will say though. This week is the first time I've been proud to be an American since I was a kid :shrug:

I don't know about that. We were bombing Syria 3 days ago and the media is describing the rebels as "US Backed". I think it has more to do with recent Assad own goals.

I don't really understand the excitement to be honest. "Syria is now free!", oh yeah? So, when are the elections? (There's not gonna be elections).

IMO, best case scenario is Syria turns into another Egypt. A brutal fascist dictatorship. But OUR brutal fascist dictatorship. Not sure how this is an improvement over Assad for the average Syrian.

Worst case? It turns into another Libya. Gaddafi was also a big meanie. But the average Libyan's life was absolutely better when he was alive. Libya is Hell on Earth now.

Actually, that may not be the worst case. The media reaction today is reminding me of something...

Who's asking him to come out in favor of "anarchy"? The Pennsylvania Governor didn't need to be involved with a NYC murder case...at all. People get murdered in this country every day.

The Democratic Party has completely abandoned the concept of universal healthcare. When it looked like Bernie was winning the 2020 primary, Obama came out of retirement to make his loser VP the nominee instead. Biden said Bernie's Medicare for All program was "too extreme", preferring a "public option". But after Bernie dropped out, Biden never brought it up again. He was lying.
